“The bare roots were well packed and very healthy. They spent 3 weeks in a bucket of water due to delayed pond cleaning. They nevertheless grew small leaves and took off when propperly planted and placed in the pond, They produced flowers very quickly and I admired them all summer.they are still blooming now in the second week of Septemeber. I wish I had a pond big enough for a dozen lotuses.”
