The faulty fan for Worcester 24CDi (original part number 87161200340) was replaced with 87161214560 which is priced between £80 - £120 was charged at £250 (twice the price). The issue was immediately identified as a bearing on the fan unit, the entire unit was replaced, which took the engineer 30 minutes in total. Including the 30 minutes he took to drive and collect the part, I should only have been charged for 1 hour. I was charged for 1.5 hours which was the time it took for the engineer to write up the bills etc. Would not recommend to others nor use the service myself ever again.

I wasn't going to write a review hence it's been 3 months since I dealt with this company, (plus I have only just had the problem rectified) but I want people to know what they are like,.. I called them out to unblock an outside drain at my elderly mothers house, as reviews have said they take payment before they even come out, £180 inc vat, which I now know is not common practise. They came out promptly which was a good sign, and claimed to have unblocked the drain, another good sign. Next day my mum called to say drain is blocked again, I called plumbing force and was told by Customer service that blockages were not guaranteed and if they were to come back out I would be charged another £180.00, I was gob smacked I tried to argue my case but the rude customer service lady just kept repeating policy,. Daylight robbery, hence why it has taken such a long time to sort out the problem, as we couldn't afford to do it any sooner,. Today we used dyno rod, came out within 1.5 hours of calling, checked the problem did the job first then I paid £145 with a guarantee of free half hour if the blockage reoccurs to investigate why the blockage keeps reoccurring.. my advice to anyone thinking of using this company. Called engineer out for leak behind boiler and when they came out they said it was a leak behind the boiler and would cost £2280 to fix and charged me £102.00 to tell me that. Nothing but a bunch of con artists

I rang this company when my Gas Fire needed fixing. They booked me in but I rang back to check out what was happening and was greeted with the rudest Man I've ever spoken to and unbelievably he owned the Company! He demanded to know why I'd rung back and I then found that these sharks had already lodged a pending transaction to my account as they had taken my card details. I will not get rid of it for 5 days. Clearly of course I cancelled the appointment. Was this man a joke learn some manners man. Good customer service. NOT Don't try to humiliate your customers not the brightest thing to Do!!!

For crying out loud whatever you do DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS. They ripped off my mum and they've been reported to the police and trading standards are looking in to it. She called these unscrupulous rogue traders out to fix a boiler leak, when they left the boiler was still leaking, but they did bill her over £2000 to fix a pipe she didn't want fixing! They pressure sold her into doing it, telling her if she didnt they would cap it off and leave her with no electric or water over the weekend. Worse than that when I checked the bank statements, they've taken more money than they invoiced. I have never come across a trader who I would recommend less than this evil bunch of thieves and rogues. How dare you do what you did to my parents.

I needed a plumber to fix a leak on a Saturday, I paid £99 which I thought was very reasonable. They gave me a 3 hour window for the engineer to come but they called me at 3pm to say they couldn't get to me until Monday! Having had to switch the main water supply off this was not an option so I asked that they refund my money. I had trouble and limited time to find another company on a Saturday, not impressed!!!

The engineer just left an hour ago, he was asked to remove the toilet and clear the drainage. He said the toilet is removed, and there is access to the sewage. However, the toilet is still there, such as the debris etc. Plumbing force advised us we need to call a sucking company. I contacted the sucking company and they said they only suck the water out, so the next day we would have the same problem again. The debris can only be taken out by rodding. Which was not done by Plumbing force.

I asked for an installation certificate for a boiler in a flat I was selling. When the chap came round he said he couldn't do that as they didn't install the boiler. He went way & said it was no problem & he would cancel the job. I then noticed they had charged £102 to my card. I telephoned to complain & the lady said they still charge for the callout even though they hadn't done the job. She also gave me the email adress for someone called Michelle in their complaints department. This is sharp practice & I'm going to report them to Watchdog

Never use them. The supposed owner is the rudest person ever. Take money from credit card and then take more money even though no further work needed

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I RANG AT 8.30 TO SAY MY BOILER WASNT WORKING AND WAS TOLD AN ENGINEER WOULD CALL BETWEEN 9 AND 12 THAT DAY. AT 11.40 THEY RANG TO SAY HE WOULDNT BE COMING, AND TO EXPECT HIM BETWEEN 12 AND 3. AT 2.50 I RANG THEM AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ENGINEER NOW WASNT COMING AT ALL THAT DAY. I HAD WAITED IN ALL DAY AND NOTE THAT NO ONE RANG ME. THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE ME A PRIORITY FOR THE NEXT DAY. THE FOLLOWING DAY NO ONE ARRIVED BY 10.00, SO I RANG THEM AGAIN AND THEY SAID THEY HAD NO ONE AVAILABLE ON THAT DAY NOW BUT SOMEONE WOULD COME THE FOLLOWING DAY. AGAIN NO ONE RANG ME. I CANCELLED THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE COMPLETELY INCAPABLE OF MEETING THEIR PROMISES. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE DISHONEST, UNRELIABLE, INCAPABLE OF MEETING THEIR OWN STATED PROMISES, INEFFICIENT AND COMPLETELY UNTRUSTWORTHY. THEIR ISNT A BARGEPOLE LONG ENOUGH THAT WOULD MAKE ME CONSIDER USING THEM AGAIN. ONCE AGAIN DO NOT CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY.

AWFUL SERVICE Plumber didn't show in alloted time as his job overran so we were moved from 8am to supposedly 3pm. I ended up cancelling and calling a reliable company.

Do not use this company under any circumstances. Plumber who attended a leaking hose connection between the feed pipe and the washing machine was clueless. Changed a washer and left after 15 mins and I was charged over £120.00. The leak was not fixed. He came back a day later than arranged and changed the hose. First time I started the washing machine water started spouting out at the back where he hadn't connected the hose properly as he didn't even pull the machine out to do the connection. Getting a reliable, real plumber out tomorrow to do this simple job correctly. Don't waste your money on these crooks.

I reviewed this previously and said that I had been charged a call out fee when the plumber did nothing as he advised me to get my insurer to work on it. In fact I can see from my credit card that I was also charged 1 hr labour. So £240 for waiting around all day for the plumber to not do anything. Disgusting!

Charged for the call out up front, when their fitter arrived (without bringing any equipment in to the house) he had a quick look at the report the National Gas Emergency service fitter had left then checked the meter had a quick look at the offending boiler and told me because the meter was sealed off he couldn`t touch anything. A total ripoff I would not touch them with a barge pole. The service was a total waste of time.

I called the Control/Call centre in the morning to report a leaking shut-off valve. I also mentioned I had no hot water or heating. The operator advised I would have an engineer between the time of my call and 4pm. They said I would also be contacted when the plumber was on their way.... I heard nothing and at 4pm I called again to be told they would contact the engineer and call me back. I heard absolutely nothing from them after that?! I was extremely disappointed with this service & would advise anyone else to think twice before using this service.... plus they also took my credit card details when I booked the call..??? Fortunately I managed to contact a local plumber who attended and fixed the problem in no time at a fraction of the cost quoted by the call centre.

I was told they would arrive between 8 am & 12. The person didn't arrive until 4:30 pm, leaving my wife and 2 young kids at home all day.

1) Did not contact me to tell me that heating engineer would not be coming until I phoned just before closing time. 2) Price of spare part (£385) over double the amount that I could have obtained it elsewhere. 3) Estimate given for 'parts and labour' only included parts. 4) Engineer left water heat on maximum. Lucky not to scald ourselves. 5) No reply to polite email asking for comments. 6) No reply to polite letter sent asking for comments

I can't say I'm impressed. Our plumbing is actually insured but we wanted someone to come out urgently as water was gushing out of the overflow. I also worry about losing water and heating since I am a carer for my 86 year old mother. Phoned 11am. The call centre told me that someone would be with me by 2pm. At around 12pm someone phoned to say they were on the way. No one by 1pm and so I phoned them and they told me I couldn't have had any call (?) but that the plumber was delayed and would not be with me until 2-4pm. He actually arrived at 4pm. Told me that it could be left overnight (was safe) but better for my insurers to fix because it would be a 2-3 hr job, although didn't say exactly what the problem was. I know he told me upfront that it was £118 but I think if they fail to meet their promises re arrival time and fail to diagnose the problem then that is steep. Better to go with a company that does not charge a call out fee than these sharp practitioners.

Phoned this company at 10am on Saturday morning as we had a major sewerage leak backing up through kitchen sink and toilet, was told that a plumber would be with us before 1pm, no show from anyone, received a call at 1.30 pm to say that a plumber would now be with us before 1pm on the Sunday, nobody turned up and no phone call to explain why, had to get another company to assist this morning ( Monday ) and problem was solved within two hours, I have to say that when I phoned plumbing force this morning to ask for a refund of £118.00 which was taken from my account the receptionist was very apologetic and polite and returned our money forthwith, not a company that I will contact again I am afraid .
