Initial emergency work was good guess as I paid for it - Follow up free work required they cancelled on me 3 times then did it over the phone with me so I had to do the work for them following the engineers instruction. Oil the engineer was very good. Very poor follow up service when it’s free and not paid for - will be using another company next time.

The job was not attended to on the day it was scheduled. I was kept informed on the delays and had to rearrange for next week. So don't think its fair for me to rate them since am yet to see my job completed. I cant rate them anything higher than "Poor" because of these reasons.

Well, to be frank I am very disappointed. The plumber came to fix the toilet which was not flushing, which, he did fix. I asked him to check the other other toilet which also had problems flushing, he looked at the toilet and told me the handle is loose. He tightened the handle and the toilet worked for 2 days, now the system does not flush. It is worth saying that it took the plumber 20 minutes to fix the toilet and I was charged £118.80 if he fixed the other toilet I would have paid £ 138.80. Now if I request your service again I will pay another £118.80 which I do not think is fair. Kind regards, Richard Kennedy

The engineer provided a quote for us and our neighbour as we both had boiler issues at the same time. He made a hash of the quotes. To cut a long story short we ended up with 2-year warranty on our boiler instead of a 5-year warranty. When I signed off on the job it was on condition of a renegotiation of the price due to the warranty discrepancy. The company couldn't have cared less and charged us the full amount. *Sigh* - why don't boiler companies look after their customers? We will not go back to them next time.

I asked Plumbingforce to check a boiler for a gas check.I was told the call out price and the extra costs if further work was agreed and carried out. I was informed that the boiler and gas fire were unsafe to work on and needed replacement and that a new boiler would cost £4 - £5k. I get all that and understand that gas appliances go obsolete and too expensive to repair. My disappointment was that that they then charged me for 2 hours servicing a boiler that they said was unsafe to work on and later admitted that the engineer had actually been on site for 1 hour & 47 mins, doing what I am not sure. I later had the boiler replaced for £2400 by a n other plumber. I was fobbed off by numerous people at their office when I queried the charge and eventually they agreed to reimburse me half an hours time = £59. Had the second hour been refunded as I had asked I would have had no issue but to have to justify and question the abilities of an engineer, over a period of weeks, at a supposedly reputable company left a very sour taste

Called and was told that an engineer would be with me "Between 3 and 5pm" on Friday. 5pm came and went, so called to find out where the engineer was. "He has had a problem with a bad leak and cant make it until Monday" Sounds untruthful to me. probably just plain forgot to let the engineer know...... An enginner did turn up on Monday and did the job required. NOT overly impressed with the service as I had a wasted journey and a 40 mile round trip on Friday. Have you tried to navigate the M4 / M5 junction on a Friday evening? Nightmare..... Shan`t be recommending these people and certainly wont use them again.

The plumber was very polite and knew what the problem was , however, the cost for repair was 10 times more then anywhere else, the part was around 200£ but this company gave estimate of 1800£ .

They came out to fit a gas hob the man said that he needed to get a bit for the cooker and took his time he spent a lot of time on his mobile outside my house to his friends a job that should have took a hour took two because he was taking his time to make it go over the hour cost a lot of money .

As it wasn't an emergency, didn't mind he came late. Technician diagnosed correct problem and fixed it. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Labor charge was £240 for 100 minutes of work which I feel is excessively high. The diverter valve cost me £236. Afterwards I found the same valve locally at a cost of between £55 and £75. Would never use again unless I had money to burn.

Plumber did not arrive on day specified. Told would arrive next day but still waiting. Terrible service.

The plumber himself was excellent. The fault lay with billing and subsequent contact. The invoice that was supplied was signed by both parties. But it seems that they then charged an extra amount for the time it took him to leave the house, as an extra £59 was taken from our credit card. On trying to speak to customer services the woman was rude and completely vile. She eventually conceded to return the extra debit, but shouted and behaved with very bad grace.

On January 10th I rang Plumbing Force as I had no hot water. They let me down on the time line coming the day after. I was charged £118.80 for a 20 minute visit. Most of that was chat !! The job was rushed and not checked.. When I rang later the same day I was told it would be another £118.80 I declined... No I would never recommend this company.

Booked an appointment for elderly mother who is 85 and had no heating at all in her living room they cancelled appointment said it would be following day and then cancelled again with no real explanation. I said it was an emergency as her age and no heating did'nt care about that at all. Will never use again and make sure all my friends and colleagues are aware of the poor service.

First visit, 2 hours late, £400 dint fix the problem and, crucially, dint tell me specific parts could have fixed it, just that it needed replacing. Took 3 hours to figure that out. Not the smartest engineer. Today, 1 hour late, came round and re-wrote the original quote. Place is an utter joke.

The plumber was prompt and did a great job, Thank you. however dealing with the office staff was a very different story. They were rude and abrupt and used threatening behaviour, as a result of this we as a national company will not be using there services again.

Phoned at the end of the agreed a.m. timeslot to say they might not be able to attend until the end of the day. No alternative engineer available. Arranged my day around them for nothing. Probably a genuine reason behind it but not a good experience from my viewpoint.

A technician was scheduled to see me on Thursday within a 4 hour time slot. No one came. I got a call 44-minutes before the slot ended saying that I would have to reschedule. I appreciate that they called me. My slot was rescheduled to Friday between 10am-2pm. The technician arrived at 2:15. A very nice gentleman named. He struggled to do the routine service. After about 3 hours he said that he was unable to complete the service due to something obstructing access. He was referring to a piece of wood which was not heavy and I easily removed in less than 1 minute. Early during the visit he asked me for my manufacturers booklet. I gave him the booklet which had not been completed by the installer. The technician notified me that he did not have verification of the commission of the boiler so my heating and hot water would need to be turned off and the boiler flagged as unsafe. To his credit he only charged me for the 1 hour that it should have taken to NOT do the job. He said that he would come back the following day (Saturday 8am) to complete the job. The following day he called me and agreed to come by 1:30. I then spoke to him at about 2:30 and he said he could not come until Monday (this means that I would have no hot water or heating for the rest of the weekend) I immediately called plumbing force and spoke Micheal who was quite rude. He told me that there was no appointment booked for Saturday and questioned why I booked the appointment directly with the technician. After a bit of back and forth he said that even if someone did come, because my boiler had no proof of commission they would have to "uninstall and reinstall the boiler" and it would cost £700. He showed no sympathy for me as the customer. When I challenged him based on what the technician told me while at my property he said that it was a "miscommunication" I then called the technician who had visited the property and he said that Micheal had not explained it correctly and gave me a better explanation. It still didn't resolve my problem or provide a simple solution. I then did a little research and found out that the commission number is easily obtained by calling Gas Safe and or the manufacturer. First thing on Monday morning (after a cold weekend with no hot water) I called gas safe and the manufacturer the manufacturer gave me the commission number and stated that it is common practice for it not to be in the book because this information is sent by email now. She also stated that plumbing force should be aware of this. I called plumbing force and spoke to someone named Michelle. I did not need to fully explain the events leading up to the call because she had my notes and said that she was "sitting behind Micheal" when we spoke on Saturday. She took a defensive position when I pointed out that although they did things technically correct, at no point did they do the RIGHT THING ethically by advising me that the commission number can be easily obtained with one phone call. She also didn't like the fact that I mentioned the negative reviews that I found here and on several other review sites... (as I said, where there is smoke there is fire) I offered her the opportunity to make things right by sending a technician today. She sarcastically said "Thank you" and offered me a slot between 12-4 but said I would need to produce documentation to confirm the commission. I told her that I had to wait for the email from the manufacturer but, it could easily be confirmed by calling gas safe or the manufacturer. She said that they can not do that. I am still trying to get this resolved but I would warn anyone that is hoping that Plumbing Force will deliver a professional, customer focused service to FIND ANOTHER COMPANY. With the exception of the technician who came out, EVERYONE WAS RUDE. They will quickly take your card details to secure the appointment but beyond that they lack simple courtesy and understanding. They project a ethos of 'we are here to make money'. This could have been so different if they had actually showed up as agreed on Thursday and been more informative with providing solutions rather than being economical with the truth. They probably spend a lot of money to ensure they rank high on google, which is how imagine most people find them. I should have read the reviews first. I'd rather support a local business man who values me as a customer and is looking to get repeat business and not just a one off job. PLEASE DON'T TAKE A CHANCE with plumbing force. Find a company that will treat you fairly. I suspect that the complaints team at plumbing force will discredit my account of the events but this is the truth. I would have given them 1 star but the technician was nice and they did call when they cancelled my first slot. It could have been worse but more importantly my issues could have been avoided.
