I HAD TO GIVE A STAR RATING OTHERWISE I COULDN'T COMPLETE THIS REVIEW, BUT IT ISN'T ONE STAR, IT IS NO STARS FOR PLUMBWORLD The worst website I’ve ever dealt with, and am still communicating with, is Plumbworld. I purchased a Bristan Java Kitchen Tap from them in February for the sum of £68.60. The plumber fitted the tap, but it was faulty. It dripped constantly and leaked water from the parts where the spout swiveled. To stop the water spreading over the kitchen countertop I had to wrap a tea towel around the base of the tap and replace this throughout the day and night. The plumber returned and said it was a faulty tap, so I called Plumbworld and they recommended sending me a replacement. The second tap arrived and exactly the same fault presented itself. When the plumber visited my apartment on the fourth occasion, he called Bristain and confirmed that it must be a fault with the cartridge, and they agreed to send a replacement. The plumber returned again and fitted the cartridge. The tap leaked for a couple of days and then stopped. I communicated the escapade to Plumbworld and asked for a refund for the tap due to the stress, inconvenience and because I had to pay the plumber for 5 visits. I was shocked when the reply came back: “I am so sorry, but we wouldn't be able to issue a refund for the tap and we do not offer any compensation towards plumber's costs.” Further emails said I” am the manager here and deal with customer complaints. I am ever so sorry you have had these issues, but the warranty covers the product only and not any installation costs.” I was very surprised when the Customer Support lady said, ‘I am so sorry, but you advised that Bristan supplied you with the spare part, was this not free of charge?” I expected Plumbworld to refund the £68.60 because it was the right thing to do. Anyone can say it is their policy not to do something but in reality, of course they can refund the money. As you can imagine I am very disappointed with this company. If it was my business, I would have returned the money immediately or offered a voucher to redeem at a later date. Needless to say, that I will never shop on the Plumbworld that is the key lesson learnt. It has made me wary of buying products which are faulty. I would probably return the item and get my money back rather than a replacement. I wonder if the tap was a problem batch. If I had bought a completely different make and model, I wouldn’t be forking out five fees for the plumber. IF PLUMBWORLD DO THE RIGHT THING AND GIVE ME A REFUND I WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW.

We order 3 SOFT closing Twyford E100 soft closing toilet seats.  When we received them they were not soft closing! I checked the code online and they were standard seats. Called customer service and they confirmed that their website was advertising it incorrectly.  They offered another toilet seat for £2 more that was soft closing but would not honour the difference for error on the website. They did agree to collect them from our house but would make us order new seats and then refund us.....which is really bad customer service. If I owned the company I would pay the difference of £2 per seat considering we had been advertising incorrectly. When I did ask for them to do this the response was sorry we cant because we are the cheapest online. On further investigation to the new seat advised that seat was also not soft closing! It was still the standard seat but with metal hinges.....!  To me they seem like a rookey company who do not know what they are doing and they seriously need to focus on their customer service. If you are wrong just own it and fix the problem. I will not be buying anything from them again!

box was damaged when delivered, sink was damaged, and parts missing, Plumbworld not interested. Dont use them ever - use Amazon, same price and you have options to return.

Ordered items that were showing in stock, phoned numerous times to get a delivery date to then find that 3 weeks later that I would not now be receiving my items as they were no longer in stock. Phoned customer services and most times I would be between 25-30th in the queue. Finally had to cancel the order and go elsewhere.

Plumbworld are not interested, if you purchase goods and 6 months later it develops a fault. Terrible customer service. Don't waste your money.

Don’t think I can add anything to the reviews below. Awful customer service. Never get back to after your hour long wait on the phone only to be told they would investigate. Go somewhere else.

What i have recieved after over 2 weeks since my order has been good, i am now a further 2 weeks in and am still waiting on items, all of which were said to be in stock at the time of order. Everytime you call its a "finger in air" approach and no one can ever tell you exactly when you can recieve it - and its always the customer that has to chase, no updates to say there is a delay, looks like they have had the money and thats as far as the care goes

Poor communication, misleading information. Parts out of stock when I placed order. I was told delivery time of three to five working days which would be fine if it was true. When you call to enquire on your delivery be prepared to wait on average twenty minutes. Interestingly if you phone sales you get straight through. Wish I used Victoria Plumb much better service no difference in price. Victoria Plumb did not stock the spec bath I wanted. DHL will send you a time slot then deliver an hour before your allocated time. Will not be using or recommending PlumbWorld again.

I ordered Aurora bath panel kit on the 10th of January. It is now 20th of February and still hasn't arrived. I phoned up yesterday getting cancel & was told it was on the van waiting to be delivered. I've tried tracking my order, but keep getting 404 fault.

Contacted Plumbworld back in September with an issue with a shower handle. The handles of the shower have rusted and corroded badly and we are cstantly cutting our hands Sent photographs of the corroded handles and have still not had a response. Good luck if you are trying to contact the customer service dept you will be on hold for hours. I wish that i had paid a little extra for quality products.

ordered items on Monday for delivery on Thursday with items in stock according to web site. items not delivered and after chasing up and a 55 min phone call one of the items not in stock with no date as to when in stock and other item in warehouse. no communication from plumbworld to advise of this and after you chase them up they just say sorry and that's that. I now have to cancel installation for my customer. if I had known not in stock or advised of this on either the Tuesday or Wednesday I could have sorted. very disappointed In the way they do not do what they say or communicate

Unfortunately cheap for a reason! Ordered 6 x items worth £729 , all of which were initially shown as "In stock" on their website. Paid £40 delivery and agreed date. Sat in all day like a mug. When I checked, was then told 4 of the 6 items were not actually in stock. They didn't have the courtesy to inform me that the delivery was no longer en-route. Have had to rearrange with my fitter - inconvenient and embarrassing. Easy to speak to sales, however when I rang their customer service number I was number 17 in the queue with no likelihood of an answer! Check their negative reviews here and on places like Trust Pilot. Wish I hadn't wasted my time!

1 star is a bonus. V.helpful in sales apart from v.rude michael. Customer service ignorant n ignore you. 30mts to get thro if you're lucky then they specialise in being non commital. Frustrating as hell if you're trying to line up a plumber. I shall continue walking in to B&Q dealing with nice staff n arranging my own delivery. Hopefully without their stress I'll live longer 😡😡😡

Appalling communication Appalling communication. Takes 20 mins to get through on the phone and 3 days for a simple response on email. Glitchy site and issues with processing the payment. When it turned out the product i had ordered wasn't actually the one in the photo i cancelled the order and was told no problem it hadn't been dispatched yet. Next day courier tries to arrange delivery as the cancellation wasn't actually processed by the office staff. Cancelled again and promised a refund processed in 2 days. 8 days later still no refund and just received a vat receipt for the order i cancelled. Another 10mins waiting to get through on the phone to be told oh it's been refunded today. No refund showing on my card, even pending. Absolutely rubbish

Ordered several items One item to be delivered directly from manufacturer. This has been a right mess. Was told and assured by Plumbworld on phone today (27.1.2020) it would be delivered today by 6pm 27 Jan 2020. I have now had an email from TNT with a totally different shipment number to the original one that should have been delivered today, saying that a delivery will now be made on 28 January 2020 There’s clearly been a massive error that neither company is owning up to I tried to tell both Plumbworld and TNT that the original consignment number had a number missing when I’d tried to track the package but nobody was listening to me The customer is always right! Not impressed. In fact disgusted with the entire matter

So ordering everything was OK in the first instance, however first delivery was cancelled day before delivery due to the toilet not being in stock. 2nd deliver no show and no message or phone call. So in total three phone calls later approx 20 minutes wait every phone call and on the second phone call to be told that now it was the basin that was out of stock. Not impressed so Refund requested. I will review again if this does not show up within 5 working days. I feel very let down as I have had to changed my plumber twice and mess him around which does not make me look very good.

I bought a jet bath the most expensive I have bought £800 to go into my new forever home. It has numerous jets unfortunately the bath is too shallow to enjoy the experience. I am only a size 14 and the water comes nowhere near covering me. It is not fit for purpose.

Hi I ordered a new toilet . Which arrived on time .But when I opened the box it had smashed in transit . I emailed them and they are going to replace it . They told me I had to dispose of the old one myself which I cant do as I havent got a car . I told them this but she said sorry but they dont do returns so I'm now stuck with a broken toilet I dont need. Wont be using this company again. I was going to order a load of shower tray and shower head stuff but will take my business elsewhere now as girl on telephone didn't show any consideration plus her voice was so annoying. Dont use these people.

Unfortunately one bad experience is enough for me to hate these guys. Delivered a broken mirror cabinet which they would not replace because I opened the package later than 7 days (their policy). Spent £350 on this bloody thing – way to go Plumworld!
