“Order placed on website and subsequently canceled two days later as part was out of stock. A full refund was received but have wasted 2 days waiting for this, surly stock levels could be updated to avoid this situation in the future.”

“Ordered items in stock at the time I ordered them, for a 48hr delivery, more than a week later no order was delivered, to find out that the company had cancelled my order, claiming the items were out of stock, for me to take a look at the website to find out that the items was actually in stock at a higher price, it seems to me that the company did not honour the price which these was when I ordered, no communication and to sell products at a higher price, this company is dishonest and does not deliver orders as stated, they also are very poor at communicating about issues until the point of cancelling the order, I will NOT be ordering from them very again, I can't deal with a company who cares more about profits than customer service and unable to deliver orders, order elsewhere with a company who does care, avoid this company if you want to avoid disappointment.”

“Allowed me to purchase out of stock items. Delayed delivery took over 3 weeks to arrive. Missed item on order and only told me on day of delivery. Repeatedly had to ask for shipping costs refund. Customer service rep unbothered. Wouldn’t use again. Avoid.”

“Second time I've ordered from Power Tools Direct. Good range of products at decent prices. But. Customer service isn't brilliant. No update on delivery, so after a week emailed but no reply. Next day got a delivery notification from the courier. Not sure if it was coincidence or not but not great that a whole week went by with nothing...”

“I was looking for a Clarke Tools wire wheel for a bench grinder. PTD 's website listed one but showed a photo of a cheap non-descript one which would not have fit the Clarke 6 inch grinder. I emailed PTD asking which wheel they are actually selling. After some initial denials they stated that the photo was of the wrong item and replaced it with a pic of a Clarke wheel. I then had no hesitation in buying one. Although the website was very misleading, I believe that the company is pretty good and would recommend them because: 1) they did actually respond to my question, 2) they swiftly corrected the error and 3) they supplied the correct item within 2 days at a competetive price”
