Order still not received despite numerous attempts to chase up.

PowerTools Direct took my order and I paid them instantly. 3 days later I got an email cancelling my order, shortly after they sent me another email saying they had refunded my payment. There was no explanation given as to why they had cancelled my order, so I sent them 2 emails asking them why. There was no reply so I sent another, this time I got a reply saying they were out of stock. They sell several different types of this item and they could have offered an alternative< but they couldn't be bothered and I wasn't going to order one of the alternative products from them to find that that too was out of stock. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM AT ALL

sent me an invoice with correct address,sent to fedex with wrong postcode,waited 2 week and made 26 phone calls please do not buy of these people.

After my scathing 'Trust Pilot' review you want me to review your company direct ? Okay then, an item was advertised as in stock with 3 to 5 day delivery. I chased you when it failed to arrive, was told it was down to the supplier / warehouse / anyone else you could shift blame towards. After three weeks I had an email to say I was being refunded. Overall, very disappointed.

I used this company because it was marginally cheaper than elsewhere. Their website stated they had stock so I went ahead with the purchase, over the weekend (Saturday). Monday I received the invoice. Delivery was stated 3-5d days. So at worst I will get the item Friday. That was not the case. Friday I get an email stating my order has been dispatched. So I emailed their customer services. All I can say is disappointing. Just scripted responses from the agent. I could have purchased this item from another company and I would have had it by Wednesday. The delay has put me behind on a project I am working on. I will not purchase anything from them again.

I ordered from them as they stated 3-5 days delivery. It’s now 2 weeks. Their website says they won’t answer the phones but will email straight back. They don’t. Can take up to 2 days. They don’t care that my order hasn’t been delivered, and refuse to refund or resend despite me having a builder on site waiting to use the order. I won’t be ordering from them again

They don’t know the products they sell. SIP pressure washer, Q, does it come with a turbo nozzle. After going back and forth 6 calls, A, yes. On receipt no it doesn’t! 3 hours work and 3 weeks in my possession the lance fails to work. I went back to Tools Direct only to be told “it’s a consumable item”. No it’s not. Anyway, within 3 weeks the sale of goods act is well and truly on my side. Bad experience!!!

Sorry to say I attempted to cut a 40mm plastic waste pipe, it wouldn't go through it and failed.

The customer services was extremely poor. There was no contact to tell me the product was out of stock and then after chasing, received an email two weeks later to say the order had been cancelled. Would not recommend buying from Power Tools Direct to anyone. Really disappointed that 2weeks on I don’t have the product I wanted in the first place.

Waited a long time to receive my order. Received an email to say one of the items wasn't in stock where they refunded the item. Then, only received part of the remaining order. Contacted customer services where I was told they sent out the full order. Clearly a packing issue as two items were missing. They then told me its tough, I'm not getting my products or a refund!!! I've never been treated this way by a company in my life and I would simply call this an act of theft.

I ordered some router bits that were urgently needed and expected them to be delivered within 2-3 working days. still no delivery after four working days I contacted Power tools Direct and they said they would look into it and the following day I received an email to say there was a stock error and they did not have the router bits. Problems do happen especially during these difficult times but if I had been notified about this error by yourselves straight away instead of me having chase up the delivery I would have been happier so that I could have continued to search for these elsewhere. We were credited straight away for the error.
