No correspondence- no delivery - very poor all round

When the order hadn't arrived I tried contacting them to be told by a voicemail that all employees were working from home and that I had to email my query. I received an email.the following day to be told the items hadn't even been sent. I needed them for my business which meant I had to disappoint customers. They finally arrived 15 days after I ordered them. It was my 1st order with them and will definitely be my last.

Order item on express delivery sent the wrong item. A further 19 days to receive the item I ordered. Customer service is contactable only online and not very helpful at best. Worst company I've ever used. Avoid

PowerTools direct is one of the worst company's I have ever purchased anything from. I have emailed them numerous times and have had no answers to my queries. I paid for my order in full and have had no goods and no clarity of what is going on. The matter is now with my solicitors in order to take legal action. It's impossible to communicate with them by telephone as no one answers the phone. I unfortunately drove 80 miles to the company premises only to have a so-called manager "Andrew" say that he knew nothing abd could do nothing??

Ordered a portable gas heater which was showing in stock and available for delivery within 2/3 days. Paid extra for fast delivery. After five days and an enquiry, firm replied that item was not in stock and not expecting delivery from supplier until just before Christmas (delivery then not available until after holiday period). I subsequently cancelled the order. After checking reviews it would appear other customers have commented on PTD showing items in stock which clearly were not. Has to be said this is poor business practice to put it mildly. Only positive hence one star is a prompt PayPal refund.

Not a good result. I was promised delivery in three days, nothing appeared and it is impossible to contact this company by phone or e-mail. The tools eventually arrived after nearly three weeks with two items missing! This didn't matter as having waited so long we had to buy the tools from another supplier so didn't need them anyway. Having looked at website reviews,( should have done that first), this seems to be normal for this company. One reviewer has been waiting for tools since February!

Sold me an item that wasn’t in stock although the website said it was. Then going to charge me postage for two items that relied on me having the original item. However very good at reimbursing me the value of the items I thought I was buying. Won’t be using power tools direct again I’m afraid.

Ordered a jump starter, it arrived as promised but was damaged. Tried phoning , message says there is no one to take calls , email only. After 3 emails eventually after a couple of hours I got a response which was to offer a partial refund which I did say I would consider ,after another couple hours I still had no response, so I then declined the offer and said I would like a replacement . I then had a message which said I had to return the damaged one and only when they had it would they arrange a replacement . I then said I would ideally like them to take it back and refund me . Once again no response for several hours. I will update this when it is resolved

PowerTools Direct took my order and I paid them instantly. 3 days later I got an email cancelling my order, shortly after they sent me another email saying they had refunded my payment. There was no explanation given as to why they had cancelled my order, so I sent them 2 emails asking them why. There was no reply so I sent another, this time I got a reply saying they were out of stock. They sell several different types of this item and they could have offered an alternative< but they couldn't be bothered and I wasn't going to order one of the alternative products from them to find that that too was out of stock. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM AT ALL

After my scathing 'Trust Pilot' review you want me to review your company direct ? Okay then, an item was advertised as in stock with 3 to 5 day delivery. I chased you when it failed to arrive, was told it was down to the supplier / warehouse / anyone else you could shift blame towards. After three weeks I had an email to say I was being refunded. Overall, very disappointed.

I used this company because it was marginally cheaper than elsewhere. Their website stated they had stock so I went ahead with the purchase, over the weekend (Saturday). Monday I received the invoice. Delivery was stated 3-5d days. So at worst I will get the item Friday. That was not the case. Friday I get an email stating my order has been dispatched. So I emailed their customer services. All I can say is disappointing. Just scripted responses from the agent. I could have purchased this item from another company and I would have had it by Wednesday. The delay has put me behind on a project I am working on. I will not purchase anything from them again.

I ordered from them as they stated 3-5 days delivery. It’s now 2 weeks. Their website says they won’t answer the phones but will email straight back. They don’t. Can take up to 2 days. They don’t care that my order hasn’t been delivered, and refuse to refund or resend despite me having a builder on site waiting to use the order. I won’t be ordering from them again
