“Paid for express delivery 2/3 days. Arrived 8 days. Cost me £100.00 extra for contractor being cancelled due to none delivery. Customer service very abrupt and un helpful. Will never use this company again.”

“Order took so long I had to order from someone else to get on with the job. After 10 days I asked to cancel the order, I was told the next day that I couldn’t cancel as the order had been sent. Which it was, a day after I asked to cancel. Rubbish , slow service, 11 days to send some wall ties, I would advise using someone else.”

“Excellent customer service-my order arrived promptly and my order was protectively packaged. Their prices are competitive and in this instance they had a product that I had found hard to find. I am not particularly computer literate but their system was straightforward - the only 'blips was that it was unclear to me as to why I had no choice re postage but I am given to understand that liquids always attract the top postage rate. Anyway a huge "thankyou" to all I valved in getting my purchase to me.”

“THE EINHILL ANGLE GRINDER WOULD NOT SWITCH ON. I THOUGHT IT COULD BE THE FUSE IN THE PLUG. WHEN I OPENED THE PLUG ,I FOUND THAT THE SMALL BRASS SCREW FOR THE BROWN WIRE CONNECTION, HAD NOT BEEN FITTED . IT WAS LYING LOOSE IN SIDE THE PLUG BODY . I SCREWED IT IN PLACE, AND THE TOOL THEN WORKED.”

“Availability, price and order process was all straightforward but the delivery let it down. Having paid extra for express delivery I was confused and disappointed when tracking information showed that the parcel was delayed by the carriers - DHL - with no explanation as to why. I chased the sales team twice and eventually the parcel turned up, delivered by a ‘man with a van’ not the regular DHL delivery man. It arrived JUST within the time frame!”

“I made a purchase online from Power Tools Direct website. Received notification from DHL that my purchase was going to be delivered a day earlier than stated, waited in to take delivery never arrived. Did not arrive on original stated date either, checked back with the DHL link and all information had vanished. By this point concerned made telephone call to Power Tools Direct was not answered by a member of staff just a automated message to send email. Sent email no reply ever received. Goods finally arrived rusty and damaged. As Power Tools Direct refuses to communicate with their customer’s on any level possible I disappointedly had to make the decision to keep goods and never buy from them again.”
