My instructor was Maryam Garba and I really liked the course. There was a lot of material to go over and she did it in a very ordered and detailed way so that I had the feeling that I learned something valuable after every session. Overall a very good experience, would definitely recommend.

Maryam Garba was a great instructor, her tips were very useful, only downside was the insane amount of workload but that’s how you get better

My instructor was Maryam Garba and I had a good time studying for my SAT with her. She would go over every question I needed and taught me some really useful strategies, especially for reading!

This was a good resource to study for the ACT and get used to the practice test. My only flaw was that there was a lot of homework to complete and it was a little overwhelming. My instructor Isabella Raicu was amazing though.

My daughter recently took a Prep Expert course in July-Aug 2022. She had taken the SAT in June without much preparation and scored a 1200. So, I was hopeful that after 6 weeks of intense preparation with the Prep Expert course she would see a significant improvement in her score. Unfortunately, after attending all of the online classes, doing all of the homework and seeing about 70-80 point improvements on the 6 practice tests, her score on the SAT she took at the end of August went down 50 points!! She was so disappointed, as was I. Luckily, Prep Expert did honor their Refund policy and I got my $600 back. But, I can't recommend this course to others. I would recommend researching other platforms that hone in on your student's particular areas that need improvement as opposed to Prep Expert's approach that just requires a lot of time but doesn't really focus in on where your student needs to improve.

Hi Andy. Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about your daughter's experience with the course. We certainly understand how difficult it can be to put in so much hard work and not be rewarded. We'd love the opportunity to give your daughter the personalized prep she needs to improve her score with some private tutoring. Give us a call at (877) 345-7737 and ask for Ryan!

Mrs. Isabella did an excellent job explaining and reviewing SAT concepts, tips and tricks, and more! I was able to increase my score from 1140 to over 1310! Because of this, I have a better chance of getting into my dream college! Thank you Prep Expert! Thank you Mrs. Isabella!

Illia Kolmagorov was the right type of teacher I needed to help me through my SAT journey. He gave me great tips on how to improve my reoccurring mistakes, which in the end led me to raising my SAT score.

Olivia Owens was a great teacher. However, the class was not as engaging as it could have been. As a student, you can't really do much as abilities on zoom are limited to chat.

I had a class with Daniel Lee with Lahari as the T.A. It was a good class, and Daniel made studying for the SAT more enjoyable with his pop culture references and jokes. In addition to the Prep Expert strategies, Daniel had his own "Daniel Lee Strats", which were very helpful as well. I will say, the class did drag on a bit at times, but it's hard to fault him for that, since the class is three hours long.

My instructor was Daniel Lee and and my TA was Marina Luo. I like Mr. Daniel Lee's lesson as it helped me to understand concepts on how to make the SAT more bearable and easier to take, answering question whenever he can and applying what he taught to practice quest. Also, he made the class never boring and helped me understand and test better on the SAT.

- THIS IS DETAILED REVIEW (INCLUDES TIPS) - First things first: Yes, it does help. IF you can commit. I got 130+ improvement on my final SAT and a got a relatively high score. HOWEVER, the class was only a part of it. I spent a lot of time studying. A LOT. And while I did see major improvements as I was taking this class, I think one of the biggest things about studying for the SAT and any standardized test in general is to dedicate a lot of time and effort while also studying smart. I think one of the things that may have prevent some of my peers from really maximizing the potential of the class is that they probably did not self study as much as others. The class provides you with a lot of great resources; the textbook is one of the MOST helpful ones out there. But it's up to you how you use them. The class and the instructors make this very clear, because it's very true. To be completely blunt, you could probably find a bunch of resources and textbooks elsewhere and compile them to find some of the similar strategies that the textbooks mention, but there are strategies in the Prep Expert textbooks that are kind of obscure -- mainly because it takes a degree of risk-taking for students to use them on the real test. BUT, if you try to use the strategies as you're doing practice tests, you can fine tune them to see which ones work for you and which ones don't. That, again, takes time and practice. As for the class itself, I had Miguel Chavira as my instructor, and it was okay. At some times, it was even fun. We had a really cool class dynamic, complete with the class clowns, the know-it-alls, the girls, etc. But, I will say that our shenanigans did sometimes get in the way of the course itself. A part of it, I will say, was my instructor's lack of ability to control the class. He would respond to our comments and then spiral out of control. In the end, we had a few classes where we would have to miss out on content or push it back. HERE'S AN IMPORTANT NOTE: The majority of the class content was just reviewing homework or going over the textbook content. To be honest, the reviewing homework part was the most helpful part BUT you can totally do that on your own by reading the answer explanations and figure it out yourself. But if you're the type that need concepts to be explained, then that section would be very helpful. Homework: Make sure to review after doing homework, or else it's pretty much useless. Also, take the essay tests more seriously. I made a mistake on my part by not doing that and I didn't do great on the essay. And finally: I would give a 3/5, but my score did improve a good amount, and I will attribute a part of that to the course. Hope people found this helpful
