Went in with the $1 deal at Southside Blvd. In Jacksonville, FL., then after after 4 months they hiked my rate $20.00 a month. I asked for a deferrment option because I was supposed to be teaching by now. However, due to the Coronavirus nightmare and the fact I haven't received unemployment, I am broke. Not only was my extension request denied I was told a late charge would be applied after the sixth. Before the Corona virus I always paid on time and have rented for almost a year. No Coronavirus emphathy!

Beware. They start you out with an introductory rate and then hike it up! I asked them how much the rate would increase when promo period is over, and they said they can’t really tell me. I went from paying $35/month to paying $135 after a couple of months. Beware! By that time you have already stored your belongings with them so it’s a pain to move them out.

Public Storage is the absolute WORST company I have ever dealt with period!! I rented a storage unit from the Public Storage on Kearny Mesa Road in San Diego. I bought a brand new lock for my unit and less than a month later I received an email stating that my unit was unsecure (no lock on door) and that I needed to come in to put a new lock on the door. The problem with that is I moved to Ohio over 2000 miles away. They refused to help me at all and refuse to put a temporary lock on until I can come in from Ohio. They just could care less about their customers and providing a good service. No, they only care about getting their money and that's it! Public Storage is without a doubt the worst of the worst!!! :(

This place is awful. The regional manager Marina and the one above her Lisa Thomas are criminals. They allowed a unauthorized user to have my gate code. That person went in and stole over $8000 of furniture from my unit. Not only that, but there was rat poop alllllll over everything and rats eat through furniture at this property. They will do nothing to help you out after they have made a mistake. Lisa doesn't care about customers. She will hang up and be completely rude. Dora is the only employee who seems to show any remorse or care for customers. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! They will get your stuff stolen and highly damaged and DO NOTHING TO HELP!!

So your self a favor and avoid Public storage. The location on S. Meridian in Puyallup, WA is infested with rats. The initial rates are attractive but they will raise them frequently at their discretion. If the constantly raising rates are not bad enough the mold, mildew and rat excrement on your goods will really bum you out. STAY AWAY.

Everyone I spoke with was very rude and not helpful at all. When I asked them about rates, I was transferred 3 times. Everyone I spoke to said they couldn't help me and they were very rude.

If I can do a 0 star I would as of this moment. Please don't rent at Public Storage any of there facilities I never done Google review but I do need people to hear me out. Public Storage are just Scam artist.I feel your items will be safe more at a stranger backyard or at shack. My friend rented a parking spot he decided to cancelled because the rent went up 70.00 more. When he went to get his trailer it was stolen yes stolen 01/31/2020. I felt so bad when he called me because all his hard work was gone just like that. We called and they say they're not in charge of anything that has beed stolen. Now tell me why they are saying that they are not responsible for anything that gets stolen.... So your basically storaging your items for the theif. So they change the name and called it Theif Mall. I'm very sad because it's not fair people work hard for their items so why trust your belongings to a company that wants only your money. Please to who ever is reading this I'm not lying think about it twice I'm not going to stop posting until we find justice... Yes its material but 9yrs of hard work gone and he always paid his rent on time bc it was autopay.

I have been with them exactly 1 month. I was supposed to pay today my next month, but they said I had to make the payment yesterday. So because of that they charge me $20 late fee and $55 lien fee, so they were asking me to pay $16 prorated fee plus $20 plus $55 for being according to them 1 day late. And on top of that February is coming and have to pay that too. They are crazy if they think I am gona stay there. So for you reading this and if you decide to do business with them make sure you know when you are supposed to pay and DONT BE LATE!! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU MORE THAN $70 FOR BEING 1 DAY LATE!!! I used them so many times before, but NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Public Storage is a very BAD choice to rent at I buy units at Auction and have been to Many sites run by public storage Most are RAT INFESTED. Most of the reviews are FAKE because they are written by auction buyers That are promised more time to empty there unit in exchange for a good review. Lisa Thomas is a general manger that regularly does this She is rude to customers and is just a downright UNT left out the C

worst company I have been exposed to in a long time. This was Not a 1x bad service experience, but institutionalized extortion. Public storage lured me into a rental on Camelback Rd. (Phoenix) then raised my rent 3x in 1.5 years, equating to a 39% rate increase then refused to discuss it and began charging a late fees while I tried to discuss my challenge. I thought surely this was an accident? After great effort I spoke to someone at corporate, who said nothing she can do since they don’t set pricing there at that office. If you don't set pricing at HQ, and not at the local office, then who sets it?? It's a lie. I finally paid the balance just to get out and communicated to the local rep (the one guy who returned my calls) for a Saturday exit, then they charged me for another full month because I moved on the 3rd instead of the 1st despite my coordinating with the local rep. When I complained about how poor the service and ethics of PS is, he laughed, “You’re not the first person to tell me that. You’re definitely not the only one!“ This is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
