Absolutely the worse estate agents ever. Can’t get hold of them when you ring. No help what so ever.

I have been trying to get a virtual tour of this house for days. it's impossible! Nobody to speak to, no virtual tour, no human being. I am a cash buyer

Got in touch with P.B. Had a query and rang the local rep. He said he'd ring after the weekend but didn't. Meanwhile I got in touch, discussed and had an evaluation with another agent - quick, smart, efficient, everything I needed including a printable valuation. Cancelled Purple Bricks, but ... they just didn't get the point and kept trying to set something up. I don't need big, complex, high tech, confused and confusing service. And people who don't get the point when I say, 'I've asked you to remove my data'.

Unfortunatly cant leave zero stars!! Here is my review from Trustpilot which was removed after a complaint from purplebricks, it appears they dont like bad reviews... Totally useless Totally useless. I was a cash buyer looking to view a property, they cancelled two viewings i had booked. Months after I have found and moved into another property the one I wanted to view is still for sale and I am constatntly being spammed with email messages about it. When you want to delete your account it is not straightforward as it should be and I had to go through live chat, i will see if that has worked or not next week. I would hate to be a seller dealing with these people, I wonder how many sellers are missing chances for a sale because of this. Had to repost the review as purplebricks didn't like it and had it removed. Property has still not sold. https://www.purplebricks.co.uk/property-for-sale/3-bedroom-detached-house-walpole-st-peter-wisbech-860317

The support from purple bricks was appalling I had four local agents, only one was any good. I wouldn't recommend these estate agents.

Purple Bricks (PB) agent very keen & enthusiastic initially to secure our business, promising various things, reviews & regular, weekly contact etc. Absolute rubbish, in over 6 months we heard from him a small handful of times, mainly trying to convince us to reduce our property. We secured a sale & heard absolutely nothing from him or PB throughout. We moved 3 months ago & to date have heard nothing from agent or PB, not even how did the move go or good luck in your new home. Absolutely disgraceful service from agent & PB. Would never use them or recommend them.id rather oath a reliable local agent. Terrible experience from start to finish. False promises & abhorrent service at best.!

Do not use purple bricks for renting or buying. They are the worst business I have ever had to work with- lazy bunch of liars. If you want a reliable, honest and responsive estate agency this is not the choice for you. TERRIBLE.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! An absolute DISGRACE of a company: reluctant to even give 1 star, only there's no other option. Not sure I've ever dealt with a company as poor as this. Terrible communication (despite constant chasing), no follow-through, bad management, poor processes - the list goes on. Non-existent customer service; an absolute nightmare to deal with. "We know the world of property can be stressful, so all we’ve done is made it simple with great customer service and digital access to all the details and paperwork you need, 24 hours a day"...should actually read "We know the world of property can be stressful, and lucky for you we've decided to make it even more stressful by avoiding your calls, disregarding your emails, ignoring your queries, charging you a monthly premium for nothing and making you do all the work, 24 hours a day" A headache from beginning to end - you might as well be throwing your money in the bin. Completely agree with most of these comments; a joke of a company who are only out for your money. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. We was given false information in order to get our property onto the market. False claims of fast sales, huge customer base etc. We was led to believe and directly told by our estate agent, that it would be sold within a week. It didn’t sell despite being on the market for 4 months. When we changed to Connells, it was on the market for 2 days, and we had 4 viewings, 3 offers and then sold. The customer service is absolutely shocking, you don’t hear anything from them until they want their fee paid. I have argued and argued the fee and keep getting false information, lies and excuses pushed my way. No amount of commission saving, would ever allow me to use this company again. They are a headache from the start. They will lie to you, and rip you off.

I had an awful experience with PurpleBricks. I've never been treated this badly in business before and have been caused so much stress by this experience. I have a modern 2 bedroom flat in Vauxhall next to the River Thames. At the beginning, PurpleBricks were receptive and helpful, up to the point when I instructed them, then the quality of service dropped off the cliff. I messaged my estate agent multiple times and couldn't get a response for a long time. Then after escalating my complaint I didn't hear back from PurpleBricks for over 6 months, until (surprise surprise) they asked for the invoice to be settled. I had 1 viewing through PurpleBricks and in the same time I had loads of viewings and 5 offers through other agents. A stark difference I think you will agree. The quality of the advert they wrote was poor including multiple typos, incorrect information and I had to spend hours rewriting it before it went live online. When the invoice was due, they did eventually acknowledge my complaint and agreed with most of my complaints, however, offered me a insignificant discount. I've regretted going with PurpleBricks as I haven't sold my property through them, I've suffered much stress and wasted a lot of time battling with them to try and obtain a fair resolution which unfortunately didn't happen in my opinion.

Terrible firm. Masters of b...... t They actually call themselves experts. I am an expert in sniffing out b.....t Anyway all I wanted was access to rightmove. They seem to believe that they have influence over buyer and seller, indeed they have convinced themselves as such Laughable

STAY AWAY FROM THEM. This process was traumatic. We had over 3 weeks to get the paperwork sorted and move into our new flat. Any request that purplebricks made we fulfilled within a couple hours at most and were constantly sending emails concerned that no progress was being made as we were getting no replies. They waited until 1 week before move in to ask for the guarantor's details, which is outrageous given that we were asking if they wanted them sooner. Legal 4 Landords (the service they use for referencing) was beyond terrible. They mistakenly did not send out an email to my guarantor cause of a "fault in their system", further delaying the process. My guarantor completed their online forms within hours after receiving them. He was then the next working day asked for more, which he provided. In addition to access to his bank account, his most recent wage slips and contract of employment, they wanted an HR reference from a company on lockdown promptly, which was beyond anyone's control. We were nearly left without a flat and without a place to move our stuff as purplebricks said we had not passed sufficient checks (due to the HR department delaying) and were about to leave us homeless saying we could not move in on the planned moving date. They told us this 1 working day before our move in, leaving us no time to make plans. THANKFULLY our landlord is amazing and intervened to come to a solution and have us move in on the agreed date. They had over 3 weeks to get this sorted and because of their constant delaying we were nearly left without a flat. Outrageous. In their email they imply they won't allow you to review them anonymously, which I can only assume is a way to discourage people from speaking up. I don't even know if this will be made public.

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEM!! I agree with most of the comments here. This company is a joke! I put a flat up to rent through them. The agent took pictures which were rubbish so I had to send them my own pics. The agent was sending inappropriate texts to my prospective tenant. He was sacked. I got them to quote for some repairs and their price was ridiculous. The rental agreement was signed before I had the chance to make amendments that I had requested. The inventory ignored work that I had done, It is almost impossible to contact them and they don't get back to you, I have had around 13 different names as contact points in first few months. They obviously can't keep staff. They are supposed to be "Fully managing" but I have had to arrange for gas testing & oven repairs. All they do is collect rent. I have told them I want to dump them and they are asking for £600 to get out of contract, which they won't get!!!. They are ignoring my requests for information on any professional bodies to which they belong as I want to make a complaint. ! star is 1 room any but there's not a box for ZERO. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEM!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Over the year I was a tenant with Purplebricks (Leicester branch) I rarely received any acknowledgment to my emails, unless it was to ask for money. I went through 3 different property managers and was never told when they changed. I had to jump though hoops to find out basic information about the property I was renting (it took 4 months to find out if I was entitled to a parking space). I had to email countless times about the poor condition of the windows in my flat, even after it was noted nothing was done about them, resulting in a build up of mould and difficulties with my breathing. No one was aware that I had signed another contract for a further 6 months in October leading to my utility accounts to be switched over and causing a great deal of stress. After I was told the property I was in would be sold, I was asked to be prepared for a viewing for a potential buyer of the property, I didn’t know I had to prepare to be an estate agent when a representative of the Purplebricks team/my landlord failed to show up. There was very little consideration when I told them I had lost my job due to this outbreak and asked if there was anything we could arrange, I was told I could either stay and pay full rent or leave (lovely bit of compassion, that). The icing on the cake came two days after my contract had ended and I had moved out as planned (during a nationwide lockdown no less), I received a phone call asking me to sign another six month tenancy as apparently no one was aware that I was moving out. My checkout report was another treat as I was accused of repainting my bathroom wall, when no such thing had happened, as well as leaving holes in the wall that were left by the previous tenant (and noted in the inventory). The Purplebricks team went on to advise my landlord to claim for half of my deposit to perform repairs and redecoration for things that were present when I moved in (also evident in my inventory). Neither Purplebricks nor my landlord showed any care in me or the property until it would get them money.

😡😡😡😡 DO NOT USE 😡😡😡😡 Absolutely awful company, charge you to do nothing. I had to take my own pictures in the end as the lady who came tried to advertise pictures that was horrid. I have complained numerous times and now have had to go the financial ombudsman to help. We was lied to by the agent who told us we wouldn’t have to pay until the house was sold but later found out after signing the contract that this was false as if your house is not sold with in 10 months you have to pay regardless. Communication skills from the agent is shocking, never answered calls or messages and when she did message she would completely ignore anything I asked. Would never buy or sell with these again 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Purple bricks are a disgrace ,still marketing property for sale ,even being made fully aware that this property is jointly owned and has not the permision of one of the owners to be sold as it is part of a divorce settlment that has yet to be finalised ,this has been reported to the ombudsman, but they are still advertising this property on their website ,rightmove have taken it of theirs
