“I ordered this rack from another company first, based on a personal recommendation. They took my order and charged my card, but never delivered after three weeks! Cancelled that one and ordered from Rack Attack by phone to ensure it was in stock. Great customer service on the order phone. It was shipped the same afternoon and arrived the next business day. Astounding. Highly recommended!”

“My purchase has been a dismal experience. After waiting 6 weeks for the rack I discovered that parts are missing. Neither Rack Attack or Rocky Mount are able to help me. The bolts are not available in the hardware store. Rocky Mount does not return my calls or emails. Rack Attack is unwilling to take the bolts out of another rack to make mine work. It is going to have to go back. I'm sad, I really wanted this rack, but now I gear warranty service doesn't exist.”

“Stopped in to see Sam today for removal of an existing Thule rack (cross bars & feet/podium) on my Land Rover. Sam went out to the truck, he had it off in 10 minutes and disassembled into its constituent parts. Sam also took the time to show me how the parts connect together. No charge for his time and expertise. I'll be back with my new truck and highly recommend.”

“We placed an order for a tonneau cover for our truck back in March and have had nothing but issues since. The first few covers we received were damaged, and the most recent one was installed already damaged by Rack Attack themselves — which they acknowledged. They promised to replace it, but five months later, we still don’t have a proper, non-faulty cover. We paid $3,500 for this product, and what we got was a defective cover and zero follow-through. Every time I call, there’s a new excuse about paperwork or delays, but I’ve never received a proactive update or follow-up unless I chase them down myself. It feels like they’re hoping the issue will just go away if they ignore it long enough. The customer service has been truly disappointing — unaccountable, not proactive, and lacking any real urgency or responsibility. I’ve also since heard that other customers have had similar experiences with this store, which unfortunately doesn’t surprise me anymore. I would highly recommend avoiding this location if you value your time, your money, and decent customer service. It’s been an incredibly frustrating experience, and nothing has been done to make it right.”

“We had a great experience working with Rack Attack in South Portland, Maine. They're were recommended by the dealer that sold us our new pickup truck. We really like the look and function of the rack and cover Rack Attack installed on our new pickup. I mostly interacted with Adam who was friendly, helpful and attentive. “Unfortunately, we are having a problem with one of the one of the stabilizer straps that secures the bike to the stabilizer bar. The buckle constantly pops out, and while it is extremely difficult to insert it into its proper place, it pops out each time we try to tighten the strap. “I have purchased a number of Thule and Yakima products from Rack Attack over the years and I keep coming back because of the exceptional expertise and after-sale service. I had a significant warranty issue with my most recent purchase -- a Thule Outway 3 -- and I wasn't able to use the rack as I had hoped (on a bike trip in Iceland). This was a significant inconvenience for me and in response to my concerns the staff at Rack Attack rectified the issue in a way that went beyond what I expected and met all of my needs. I'll be coming back once I figure out what my next bike rack will be.”

“Had their racks on my Dad’s car for a few months before we both got sick, so they were left unused in new condition while he died of cancer and I reached remission. Rack Attack chose not to make an exception and return them outside their return window. No courtesy made or sympathy expressed to my elderly widowed Mom during her request. Terrible situation made into a simple business calculation for them. Very unfortunate time we live in. I would not recommend Rack Attack as a company.”

“When traveling this past winter I had a Retrax retractable cover installed on my pickup by another dealer in AZ. I scheduled a service appointment at Rack Attack to adjust my top due to some adjustments I made which were in error. The gentleman that helped me was exceedingly kind, made the adjustments on my rack, and did not charge me. This really stands out and they will have my business for any future purchases.”
