“Ordering process was ok but still haven’t received the order. Ups stopped by on Thurs…I’m guessing pkg lost as they were asking if I received it”

Dianne, I am sorry to hear about your order, as it does look like UPS lost the package for a number of days, but the tracking updated this morning and it says the keys should be there this upcoming Monday. Just to be safe, I will have another set sent out to you, to ensure you get what you paid for. I am very sorry about this situation. “On September 12, 2021, I spoke to Kent (Assistant Manager) at Rack Attack in Ottawa. When searching Rack Attack’s website for a Thule T1 hitch mounted bicycle carrier, there was a message which stated, as follows: “Out of stock online with limited availability in store (call to confirm). Order today to be added to the waitlist.” Thinking that Rack Attack may have some in stock, I phoned their store right away to buy one. When speaking to Kent, I enquired about the Thule T1 bike carrier and asked if he had any of them in his store. Kent told me that these bicycle carriers were on back order. Next, I asked when would they be available at his store? Kent answered, “Within two to three days”. I asked Kent, “If I order one today, when would a Thule T1 carrier arrive for me”? Kent confidently replied, “By September 30th” (2021). I now asked, “How do I buy one?” Kent answered, “To get one, customers are paying the full purchase price. There are now four people ahead of you, who have ordered this rack.” On September 12, 2021, I paid in full for this bicycle carrier. It’s now October 20, 2021 and I still haven’t heard anything from Rack Attack. This is really outrageous customer service, to charge (demand) someone pay the full purchase price and not have the item by the predetermined date to give them. I never would have paid in full for this purchase, if I had known that a Thule T1 bicycle carrier wouldn’t be in their store and ready for my pick-up by the promised date. Also, I feel their website message was deceptive and simply used to lure in unsuspecting customers who are given a fake delivery date that couldn’t possibly be met. I will never do any business ever again with Rack Attack, because they charged me the full amount, over $500.00, and didn’t provide me with my Thule T1 bike carrier within the date they had promised. I’m disgusted at how Rack Attack has treated me concerning this purchase. It’s like I have given Rack Attack an interest free loan for the last six weeks. I have now demanded a full and immediate refund for this purchase.”

“This rack is sturdy and easy to set up and load our bikes onto. We have ebikes with fat tires. The tire straps are not long enough to fit around the fat tires. Considering the cost of the rack I would suggest that you include the longer tire straps or at least let us know that the rack is not ready for two fat tire bikes. Then we could have ordered the proper length of straps to fit our bikes when we ordered the rack. With the shipping it will now cost me $92.00 to get one set of longer straps to fit our bikes”

“Purchased a kit from rack attack. Very deceiving advertising, not telling customers that rack is split in to several sections. Spent $246 just for the clamps for the rack, did not come with rails or other parts that you need for a rack. Expect to spend over $600 to actually get the whole rack. NOT SATISFIED, BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU SELL.”

“My experience shopping with Rack Attack was awesome.. Spent a lot of time researching best base rack system and SUP paddle board carrier that would be compatible with each other and with my pick-up truck. Rack Attack's on-line research tools (and You Tube videos) made the process easy. Also spoke to a representative by phone prior to purchase who guided me through process and insured I was getting compatible systems. Once ordered, received multiple email updates regarding status of my shipment. Highly recommend Rack Attack.”

“The racks have been received by the vendor that the rack going to be attached to the camper. I want to say thank you to the person who helped me in ordering the racks. I think his name was Victor. He was polite and helpful. After being let down so many times at other business he was a bit of fresh air. There still is some who still believe in customer service.”

“Was told that the Thule roof rack fit kit I ordered would work with my discontinued Thule podium. It would not work. Matt from Rackattack was able to assist with getting the updated kit I need and prepared a new order to complete my package. Very responsive and helpful support once the initial issue was sorted.”
