My wife and I purchased the Thule Gateway Pro 3 bike rack. When we asked the salesman if we could have a quick tutorial he said they weren't allowed to do that, that we just needed to familiarize ourselves with it and that there was a You Tube video we could watch. The instructions inside the box were strictly visual, with no written instructions. Not all of us are visual learners. The You Tube video was not very instructive. When we attempted to attach the rack to the back of our SUV we found that in order to get the two lower clips in place we had to lift the hatch several inches; the clips were angled such that they would not slide in otherwise. The included straps for securing the bikes were at first a mystery- no instructions included of course. So with the aforementioned "familiarize yourselves" suggestion, we finally figured it out. We decided, after much frustration and cussing, that we would find a rack that would surely be easier to use. When I returned it to the store I actually expected, as I think most of us would, that a business would want to know why I was returning it and what they might be able to do to help us out. Nothing, not a word. Got my refund and walked out shaking my head. Not what I would call great customer service.

1) Box was damaged on delivery. 2) No confirmation that my product was registered with manufacturer. 3) Was not able to find the application recommended in the manual.

Exceptional service. I ordered an 'Open Box' but was charged for a new item. A quick email and I instantly had a call confirming that it was Rack Attack mistake and my bill had been corrected. The rack arrived the next day. Very pleased, would highly recommend.

Fantastic- Rack Attack had the parts I needed when no one else did and they were very helpful when I accidentally ordered the wrong set of clips (despite the great set-up of their website, was my fault).

Customer service fantastic- 5 stars! Product expert Gregg, bang on on his advice. When ordered, got a call in a couple hours, clarifying order as it appeared to have missed some items. (It didn't have anything missing as Gregg and I had discussed using existing Yakima parts I have from a previous system. ie locks)

The staff at RA are awesome. I called them months ago with my idea. They didn't have what I was looking for but took my number. I be honest, I suspected that would be the last I heard of them based on common trends with customer service but they called out of the blue to let me know they found what I was looking for. They have re-gained my faith in customer service.

Wow. Great online shopping experience from Canada. What can I say, the online team (phoned them to check availability) was able to answer my questions and ship my order instantly. When I went into my local Rack Attack store they said “sold out “ and no idea when stock would be available. Oh… and the rack is great also.

I love the Steadyrack. I tried to purchase at the Tigard location but they only had one MTB Steadyrack. I ordered via the website and it came promptly. Very Happy and will order more for other bikes.
