Rack Attack was pretty awesome. The Rack I got had a tricky assembly and in fact where they tell you to slide on the caps on the ends you actually need to hammer them on and I ended up with a slight crack.

Worked out nice for my 2023 Subaru Impreza. Looks really nice. Only issue is one of the tumblers to the Yakima lock would not engage and lock properly but was quickly resolved by rack attack associates and sent out to me.

Went to secure the largest Thule roof box I could get with 24" clearance to garage door. Was told only option was the Alpine model. Returned to the store 4 days later too get the bag set and was told they were too large for our new roof box. During our discussion I find that a larger less expensive roof box would have fit in the 24" clearance ( plus accommodate the bags) and that no, they don't take returns or exchanges on a 4 days old purchases. Frustrating experience. GOING TO REI FROM NOW OWN.

Went into a store that had stock online. And the guy looked for a minute than came out and said he couldn't find it.... Had to order online and pay shipping....

I ordered a hitch for my subaru at the Rack Attack in Fort Collins and at no point was I told when ordering it, that it would be non returnable!!! When I first tried to return it I was given the run around and told by Chris to bring it in later for the manager to decide on the matter. Mind you I had to have help everytime I brought in or took out this large boxed hitch. I then got a phone call that they could install it for a reduced price or if I still wanted to return it they could discuss that with me (I've saved that voice message) When I brought it back the second time to return it is when I was finally told that it was not refundable! I wish I had gotten a receipt, but since they had all my info in their computer i thought it would be like returns at REI, honest and not a big deal. I never get receipts from them, as it saves paper. I will never use this store again!!! Horrible customer service!

Ordered a rather pricey electric cooler online through Rack Attack as it was out of stock. It arrived from the U.S. pretty quickly - within a week - but the packaging was obviously damaged during the shipping. Luckily the damage to the cooler was limited to scratches and it did work well. When informed of the cosmetic damage, Justin at Rack Attack was most helpful and immediately offered and then arranged for a partial refund of the purchase price, which seemed fair to us. No hassles or push-back - payment made simply based on our description and a couple of photos. We have dealt with Rack Attack in the past and have been pleased with the expert advice we have been given, and now, with their exemplary customer service
