“loved my sideboard once it came, but getting the delivery is a nightmare, said 3-10 days took more like 3 weeks.”

“Beautifully made bookcase, shame about the delivery aspect and the couriers. Not kept informed of delivery and then after having been given a date this was changed without informing me. Too much messing around I'm afraid.”

“We are pleased with the bookcases we ordered. However we are rather disappointed with the service from Roseland, although the staff my wife spoke to were very pleasant. The sideboard we ordered wasn’t in stock and we were told that it could be 6-8 weeks before delivery. However, it was only after our phone call to Roseland some 3 months later that they ascertained that the sideboard had been discontinued.”

“Fair quality for the price I paid. Looks better than it really is though. Drawer bottoms and back are thin and flimsy. Delivery was shocking. I was given half an hours notice that my delivery was coming. When I called to change, customer service said they would reschedule and confirm. When I got home that evening I found that the furniture had indeed been delivered and stacked up against my front door, so I was unable to access my flat. Absolutely awful. I have never experienced this before. Would never use this company again.”

“Good fast delivery but once again parcel was left at the front door clearly for everyone to see, have pictures for proof. I feel the delivery service is letting your company down.”

“The product is pretty much as expected although the imagery & blub led me to believe it was locally produced rather than imported from Vietnam. The delivery service let things down; firstly the availability of delivery slots was limited (the girly on the phone was very polite) but secondly the service on delivery was poor. On arrival the driver & his assistant were having a disagreement (I think they had forgotten to deliver another order) & the language from the driver was colourful. The item was turned upside down & back again to get it off the van without much care. The parcel was carried upstairs & placed in the bedroom but shoes were not removed or wiped on the mat. I understood the item would be removed from the packaging (& the packaging taken away?) but once I had signed for the item I did not see them for dust.”

“The order was processed very quickly and received without delay.I bought a London cupboard on opening it the left hand side near the hinges seemed to be splashed with something white or fingers marks. I did let the company know and they offered a new one but stated it could not be guaranteed the new one would not have marks on. I did keep the cupboard but had to buy a strip of similar wood to go over it. I really would not recommend it”

Hello Elizabeth, Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear that you were not 100% happy with your London Oak cupboard. I can see from our records that we have explained the marks in your Oak furniture are Medullary Rays, which are a natural occurring character in the timber. We cannot guarantee that our furniture will be free from these marks as the Medullary Rays are considered an acceptable characteristic and can be found in many pieces of Oak furniture. “I was disappointed with the quality of this furniture. 5 drawer tall boy. I was most disappointed with the delivery service which Dash? provided. They were totally dishonest about what had happened to our furniture when it didn't arrive on the due day. They made out that we had not been here when a delivery had been attempted. We were in the whole time! They eventually admitted that it had got 'lost' in the warehouse, which I understand was in Birmingham. The delivery driver told us that the furniture had gone to Birmingham before coming back down to Cornwall!! WHAT? I couldn't believe it! We wanted to 'buy local' from a 'local' firm. We only live in Newquay after all! We need a new dining room set and just thought we'd try Roseland out with this small order. Sorry, we won't be coming to you for that.”

“It was extremely well made but unfortunately the colour on my he website was completely different to the one I received. The company picked it up and gave me a full refund. I have ordered another item as I was so pleased with the way the furniture is made and the customer service is brilliant”

“I cannot fault the ordering process and the delivery which were really good. The drawers were very well packed too, but the unit was not put together properly, on two parts the drawers are out of alignment. I guess you get what you pay for. It could have been a rogue one and I could have asked for a replacement but I didn't want the bother.”

“On receipt of my 3 items: 2 London Oak bedside cabinets and 1 London Oak dressing table. Upon opening the dressing table I found both sets of legs broken. I did contact Roselands who quickly arranged for a replacement. The cost of these items reflects in the end product. If you are looking for something a bit more solid and heavy then expect to pay more.”

“Not happy. The bedside chests that we bought are “lightweight” and are not the substantial pieces of furniture that we expected. They were poorly packed and one item was structurally damaged and is being exchanged.”
