My furniture was cancelled as it was damaged and not fit to send I did find the email that followed a bit curt, also telling me I might have to wait 10 days for a refund. I phoned up , spoke to a nice lady who processed the refund then and I got my money back in 2 days. Very grateful for that Amazing how it can be done so quickly as I would rather have my money in my bank account accruing i retest rather than yours when product could not be supplied but i was sad not to get the product but am sure i will use your company again in the future

Dear Kathy Farrell, Thank you for your feedback, unfortunately, we have to state up to 10 days due to some providers not putting money back into customer accounts. We always refund at the request or when items have been returned and received from the customer. The time the banks or card providers return the money is out of our control I'm afraid. My experience has been very disappointing. When I placed my order in August for a set of 3 matching chests of drawers, I made it clear to Roseland that I wanted all 3 to be delivered at the same time. Prior to that, I had waited several weeks for them all to be in stock. The chests were delivered in September but on unpacking, the largest of the 3 chests was found to be badly damaged. I sent Roseland photographs showing clearly that the frame of the 6-drawer chest was broken in two places. They offered me £65 to keep the chest (for which I had paid £439.95) even though I had explained that 2 of the drawers couldn't be opened. I would have asked for a refund, but I needed a replacement chest in order to make up the set with the other 2. Roseland agreed to send a replacement, but refused to let me keep the damaged chest in the meantime (I could have made use of the 4 drawers that worked). The courier refused to collect on any day apart from Tuesday, wouldn't give a time-slot until the night before, and didn't keep to the notified time-slot. Roseland insisted that I repackage the broken chest, a job that took 2 people over an hour. I was told that because the chest was out of stock I would have to wait at least another 12 weeks to be sent a replacement. Even more disappointing, I was told that all customers who had ordered the same item between the date of my original order and the date on which the damaged chest arrived would be given priority over me when the item came back into stock. I've heard nothing from Roseland for over a month. I am stuck without adequate storage in my bedroom (I moved house in July), I have only 2 of the 3 matching items that I ordered, and I have no idea when I will receive a replacement for a chest that I paid for over 2 months ago.

Highly disappointed as the colour that I ordered in no way matched the description or picture on their website, and when I challenged this I was told I needed to pay £10 to return the item.

Plagued by delivery problems, first courier Tuffnells gave me a few hours notice that they were arriving that day (emailed me at 6am to say delivery would be between 08:45 and 10:45) and their emails say that I must be home to sign for it. I arranged with Roseland to contact Tuffnells to inform them that I wouldn't be home and to rearrange for later that week. Turns out the driver was happy to leave the item in my garden. 2nd courier XDP told me the delivery was going to happen and then didn't show up or post a card. Now the parcel is nowhere to be seen. Roseland promised that XDP would be back in touch and to keep an eye on the woeful XDP app. Nothing yet and nearly a week has gone by. No doubt they will attempt delivery when I'm not home. Roseland have told me that I cannot ask XDP to deliver on a specific date so I assume that some point in my life I will cross paths with XDP. I'm sure all furniture deliveries around the world are just left up to chance. Now the furniture. The item which has arrived is an Oak Blanket Box. It's okay. Not great and not bad. there is a thin MDF panel on the back rather than being a complete symmetrical oak box. There is also a lot of Pine involved in the construction, yes its solid wood but it isn't 100% Oak. No lies are told compared to the description but it isn't exactly a great piece of furniture. We have seen other websites and local oak furniture shops which sell identical looking products for more expensive prices. Turns out you get what you pay for and Roseland furniture is a little cheaper than others and the product is definitely a little worse for it. Was expecting a bargain and got what I paid for with a delivery nightmare thrown in for free. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. So it turns out my parcel (1 large bookcase, 1 TV cabinet and 1 nest of tables) has gone missing. Paul Daniels would be impressed. No suitable replacements can be found for 12 weeks so a refund has kindly been offered and graciously accepted. On a final good note, the staff are nice, well mannered and responsive but my advice would still be to avoid.

I really liked the bedroom furniture I ordered and received but sadly the chest of drawers was a different shade of white to the wardrobe and bedside table. I had to return the whole lot because I was unable to work with the customer services team to exchange it to my satisfaction. It's a shame as I am still without furniture for my spare bedroom and Roseland have lost money and future custom.

I ordered a rattan bench on 16 Sep 2021. There was a 3 - 5 day delivery date but I had not received my order by 27th Sep so I telephoned and was told that someone would contact me by 30 Sep because the employee was away till Wednesday 29 Sep. So far (and it is now 4 October) I have heard nothing. I will not be buying from this firm again. I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY BENCH SO MOST OF THE REST OF THIS SURVEY IS IRRELEVANT.

I could see that one of the legs was different to the others when I took it out of the box, and sure enough it doesn't reach the ground. The thread doesn't work in the opposite corner leg, so the screw just stays loose and that leg wobbles. So I have a wobbly and uneven desk. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed, the dressing table was very badly damaged and even the delivery driver said it looked like it had been dropped from height. He collected it and signed for it as damaged because he didn’t want the courier company blamed for damage during transit. It should not have been released out for delivery in that state and is really unacceptable. We were offered a £50 refund if we kept it by Roseland, ridiculous for such a badly damaged piece of furniture. It was collected 5 days ago and we’re still waiting for a full refund.

I can see that we booked a courier to collect from you and that the collection took place 2 working days ago on 23rd September. Refunds and collections are like pulling teeth with this company. They use literally the worst delivery company I've ever encountered. They failed to collect my item 3 times and were unable to explain why and refused to offer any compensation for completely wasting my time. The products they sell are perfectly fine, however if you shop around I've seen similar items on wayfair that sell for a third of the price. The book case that I had to return was designed by someone who hates books as the shelves were too short to fit any actual books on it.

I cancelled my furniture due to non delivery, three times I waited in due to the courier saying they were on their way, and three times no show. Then I get notification that it has been delivered and I signed for it!. To this day I still haven’t received my furniture!.

Was a huge fan after discovering you last year, even recommended you to my customers. Won't be doing that anymore and won't be ordering from you again, on my last order I was accused of lying and was told order would arrive every day of 1 week until the Saturday when told was lost and I cancelled order. I haven't yet received a response to my complaint email either, but don't expect to now. Customer service is my bug bear, if you want customers you need to look after them.

The one star is solely based on the state of the product. The staff would have received 5 stars. Regrettably the corner TV unit was badly damaged, however Roseland acted immediately and offered us a full refund or a replacement. A replacement was our choice.
