I am a travel agent and on 17/12/2020 I posted the last batch of 150 Christmas cards to clients of mine, with 1st class stamps on, very few received their cards before Christmas. Today in the post I received a Christmas card from one of my clients posted 16/12/2020 with a 1st class stamp on. This is absolutely shocking and unacceptable. How can you even increase stamp prices ?

Royal Mail are so unrealisable I am still waiting for my parcel to arrive which is now already 2 days late Their service is useless and it’s shocking that they still have a royal chest

Been no postman for a week, I know they were off from Christmas day until Monday 28th but I have not seen a postman all week, neither have mu neighbours. Useless.

Atrocious service, 3 times now special delivery has arrived late. The latest I’m told won’t arrive until Monday 6 days after it was posted. Charging customers extortionate prices for a service they know they cannot provide then telling me to contact seller for a refund. Completely fobbing me off and no accountability. Once I can live with, twice is annoying but 3 times is a joke. Also delivered one of my items to the wrong address somehow and it was never seen again. Once again told to contact the seller and never heard anything back. They’re not fit for purpose and I won’t use again.

I absolutely hate dealing with royal mail as an e-commerce seller. Their prices are so beyond a joke, and almost never mean deadlines. I swear I've had less trouble with Hermes! The ones who get all the stick about being bad are the ones who upstage our national postage service. Pathetic restrictions on what you can and can't send, and horrible customer service. Just stay away.

I have most of my Christmas cards delivered today, some of them were posted as far back as the 8th December. I posted a present and they happily took my money for first class 48 hour tracked, for it to be delivered 10 days later. Parcels sat at sorting offices for weeks again you pay 48 delivery. Why do they take your money knowingly they cannot meet the delivery date. Surly that is fraud? I have lost count of the damaged / soaked mail that we have received this year, I understand that this year has been difficult, but other companies have managed to deliver Christmas to their customers from shops, supermarkets and other delivery companies. COVID has just highlighted what a disgrace the Royal Mail is!

On the 30 th December 2020 we received 5 late Christmas cards. All second class stamps. 2 cards were posted on 11 th Dec and were posted in the next town to the delivery address! 2 had no post marks and the last was posted in the same town as delivery on 13 th Dec. shocking service

Posted a package to Thailand on 16 December. It arrived in their Heathrow sorting office on 17th where it has allegedly been since then, although there is a chance it could have been stolen. Royal Mail have no interest in looking for it and have told me not to contact them again until 25 January when I can start a claim. Bearing in mind that they charged me over £20 and claimed that they would deliver between 5 to 7 days this is outrageous. By the time they get round to doing something it will have been 6 weeks. That will be the last time that I use their totally inadequate service. The sooner they are closed down the better. Courier companies might be more expensive but at least they deliver as advertised.

you phone up when they don't deliver your parcel that is supposed to be signed for and the call center refuses to accept your ref no because its a crappy voice recognition. then you find out it was the postal worker that signed for it themselves.if i could leave a 0 star i would

No Royal Mail postal delivery since 9 December 2020 from Royal Mail Bexleyheath Branch. Extremely poor service. Website information inaccurate regarding opening and collection times and is very challenging to use. Walked to Bexleyheath branch on 29 Dec 2020 and saw Royal Mail vehicle and the driver and was collecting mail from post boxes en route at around 11:30 and saw same vehicle at branch around 12:30. Notice on main door which customers use said "closed due to COVID". SPOKE TO EMPLOYEE AT BACK OF BRANCH who was unable to assist and check our mail and was told it was unknown it when branch would reopen. However, thank you to Parcel Force who were able to deliver medical consumables within 24 hrs of ordering from supplier.

This has to be one the worst companies on the planet especially when making a claim. in addition to the poorest claims process, they now also will sell you International Post Labels from their website that are completely useless as they DO NOT accept the parcel in the Post Office under "new rules" to top it all i have now been on hold to customer service for almost half an hour.

Royal Mail has not delivered my parcels I’ve been waiting for since the 15th December absolutely useless. Hermes comes the next day Royal Mail wants putting out of business they are useless

Always very poor and currently worse than ever if people pay the going rate for a delivery service then no excuses it should be delivered on time or else offer a cheaper service saying you don't know IF or when it's going to be delivered other companies have managed through the current situation. I wish it was just the situation to blame but it's not why charge for 24 or 48 hour delivery if you know you can't deliver the service scandalous. Taking money under false pretences (instead offer every customer you have let down a refund)

As ever Royal Mail are useless, we have been waiting 3 weeks for 1st class parcels to be delivered. Surprise not delivered. Of course if pay for their premium services things arrive ! 2021 prices are going up , but the service still won't improve, shareholder's before customers !! Other companies for example DPD can get it right. You can't blame Covid your competitors are coping.
