No email address or live chat functionality. Website is unclear, difficult to navigate. Specific issues cannot be addressed because it's almost impossible to access any kind of customer service. Worthless. Even parcelforce and hermes are better than this.

Absolutely shocking service!! Got e-mail two days ago to advise my delivery is expected between 9:03-11:03 that day. So of course I waited in all day (on my day off work). That was Thursday its now Saturday and still no delivery arrived. The tracker on-line useless as not updated. Do fed up I decided to ring to speak to someone, but gave up after being on hold for 25mins. Never have this problem with other delivery companies. I dread ordering on-line knowing its Royal Mail.

When buying online am filled with dread when supplier says 'to be delivered by royal mail! Delivery never successful first time mainly because they will stipulate which day they may decide to deliver and even if you know you wont be in you cant arrange redelivery on their app. Until they leave a card to say you weren't in which of course you already knew you wouldn't be! Then online armed with the 'sorry we missed you' card you rearrange a suitable day but they are not able to specify a time so you have to wait all day when potentially it still does not arrive. System is a shambles and outdated. Suppliers avoid!!

I ordered a CD from Music Magpie 3 weeks ago and it never arrived. Thankfully they gave me a refund and put it down to being lost in the post. I reordered the same CD from Amazon instead and guess what? This one hasn't arrived either! This is either sheer incompetence on their part or they employ thieves.

The bread and butter of Royal mail is delivering letters/parcels. I went to The bexleyheath post office 28/01/2020 to post a Birthday card. I queued for 20 Minutes as there was only one person serving with a Que of 14 people, Once at the counter the helpful young man weighed my standard card, put it through a measuring device and asked if i wanted it first class or second. I asked for first class 80P next day delivery. ( Delivery address Croydon, 13 miles away !) Today is Friday the 31st of January, has the card arrived !!!! NO. I only send a few cards each year, and its always the same story. Royal Mail at least should be honest with customers, when sending a letter/card/parcel, they should say.... whatever service you use, your letter/card/parcel will get there whenever it gets there, there is no guarantee it will get there at all ! Im surprised RM are still in business.

Impossible to complain to RM as they deliberately send you round in circles on their website. I posted a written complaint to them with photos, showing how the postman throws all the mail on a shelf rather than post it in the individual postboxes in a block of flats in Manchester. Parcels and important mail are constantly disappearing. My complaint was completely ignored. This has been going on for years! (They even put a Citizens Advice phone number on their website rather than a RM one - disgusting organisation).

I ordered a small item online, itwould have easily fit through my door. The item was not of much value I admit.. When I tracked to see where it was It said it had been delivered 3 days earlier. I had not received it. On contacting royal mail they said basically it had been delivered and I could do nothing about it. So I pay for their incompetence not happy ar all

Never leave with a neighbour, they're about 10 years behind other delivery companies. Move with the times or go bust...

Terrible system for claims. No room on form to describe what happened. They don't wait for evidence and assume you are a crimina. Escalation treat you like dirt, literally lie and sneer at you. I'll likely be taking the case up with the Ombudsmen.

An item ordered on Ebay was delivered a week ago, and yet according to Royal Mail tracking it's still "Delivery info received". People pay money for this? As bad as Hermes tracking.

Two items, very clearly labelled in large bold font as "PLEASE DO NOT BEND" were scrunched in half by the postman and forced through the letter box. Real disrespect and ignorant behaviour. Royal Mail said that they would not compensate me and that I must contact the sender! I was also told that the Royal Mail do not compensate householders! Really!?
