DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE USELESS AND UNHELPFUL. ONLY CARE ABOUT NOT PAYING THE CUSTOMER. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND A DIFFERENT TRAVELERS INSURANCE BECAUSE IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY

Sedgwick only listens to one side of the party that is in their best interest. They make their decisions without any concrete evidence except the word of the party they are covering for. Useless company.

The representative was quick to say that they weren't paying for my 2nd surgery for the injury that I had at work. Even though, it was in the doctor's notes after the first surgert. The inflamation made it impossible to finish the surgery in one session. The delay may cause me to lose one of my rotator cuff tendons. There was an entire week that I couldn't get in touch with her and I reminded her of an upcoming appointment twice before I tried to return to light duty. I got denied light duty and called her again. She acted like it was the first time that she heard about my upcoming doctor's appointment and updated my end date on the very last day of the approved time only because I called her for the third time about it. On the third call she asks for the location of my company. She apparently, went almost 4 months without knowing or pretended to not know. The last call she told me to wait while she opened my file and was recording. That was the first time she ever did that. My travel expenses were not paid in full. The amount is less than half of the amount submitted even though it was documented doctor's visits and physical therapy. I recommend to avoid this company if possible.

Sedgewick (re:Home Depot damages)has been in contact with me but, so far, it's been very disappointing. Sedgewick is throwing the blame on the installers who were sent to my home BY Home Depot. I trusted Home Depot and signed a contract with them (not some contractor) to be responsible for the work done in my house. As it stands, I do not want those installers back because I had to tell them not to come back to my property and they make me very uncomfortable. Evidently, from emails sent from Sedgewick, this fact is being ignored! It should be included in the contract that Home Depot takes no responsibility for damages caused by people WHO THEY CHOSE to send to your home and evidently Sedgwick supports that! Customers have a right to know that!

Jennifer is my examiner and she is playing games with my health period she has made up lies saying that I have physically threatened her life which is a lie. I was injured back in the middle of july and I have yet to actually have a conversation with my examiner anytime I call only for a message. Jennifer has also given out personal information to my former employer

I have had great help with customer service. I had never ever been able to reach my case manager who would be the only one able to help me. I call 2-3 times a day for almost 2 months now and have never talked to a case manager. I have been told that they had put in their notes they had called me everyday and sometimes twice a day. It never happened. Its terrible. They need some serious restructuring.

I’ve never been able to talk to anyone other than a customer service agent. Case workers and supervisors never call back but say they do. It’s an awful company to deal with.

They are in the business of making sure claims are not processed in defending the company that holds a policy. But to have the nerve to defend the action of an overtly aggressive employees' action during a non-aggressive conversation is extremely unethical. Needless to say, the people who work for companies in the twentieth century lack quality in conduct and ethics internally and externally. As a former Chubb employee several years ago, I wouldn't use Sedgwick to insurance my children's bicycles.

I decided to go ahead and look up the reviews because I have been hurt since July of last year and I went back to work under restriction conditions which means I went from the warehouse to work from home, and I still ended up with more severe problems and I’ve been to five different doctors. I’m on five different medication’s things to my injury at the warehouse and they are fighting me and this is my third appeal with the doctors. They have lost all my paperwork they have not worked on my case I am so mad with them I’m mad with my employer. so we ended up doing a blood test to see why I was feeling so sick all the time not including my neck injury come to find out I have diabetes type two which is a actual disability with SSDI but I prefer to work and just get better and do my My prescriptions that they gave me to feel better so that I can go back and work in September instead of being on the system well they decided that the second time around the third time around they wanted to take it to a doctor and send it to a doctor that has no clue what he’s doing. He’s a freaking idiot I’m seeing a ortho and he said I wasn’t seeing ortho they make things up. The doctor is a liar I can go on the basically they’re liars liars liars and they are parking our money probably they probably approved it and put it into their own bank account.

Unethical - this company does not care about patient care, it only cares about money. Furthermore, all their employees involved in my claims process were unethical and twisted words to work in the insurance companies favor.

Representative was agressive, not wanting to help. Was an extremely difficult process and still haven’t been reimbursed. The insurance cards for prescriptions didn’t work at a major pharmacy. I believe that may be deliberate. They don’t want to pay. Have lost tons because of someone else’s negligence. Don’t recommend this company at all.

Apparently a random doctor knows whether I need leave better than my specialist in a super rare autoimmune condition. The teams also provide inconsistent information. Do not recommend and avoid at all costs.

Hello to all experiencing difficulty with Sedgwick. I have some advice. GET AN ATTORNEY IMMEDIATELY. It will help tremendously. I was involved in a car accident where a driver ran a red light in a rental car and totaled my car and caused injuries. The driver admitted fault and I had dash camera footage. I also came out of pocket several thousand dollars to get back on my feet after the accident. Sedgwick dragged their feet and stonewalled me for 4 months. Purposefully "missing documents" and using other delay tactics to frustrate me and get me to give up. Finally I hired an attorney who drafted a demand letter to all parties involved (not just Sedgwick). As a result, the car rental company and the person that hit me were helping to pressure Sedgwick into settling ASAP. It worked! Within two weeks my car was paid off and I am being reimbursed for other financial losses. The injury case is ongoing. PLEASE, if you can... Hire an attorney. It's the only way to get Sedgwick to respond with action. They are a horrible and deceitful company. FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE!

I am so annoyed and frustrated with Sedgwick. This is my 2nd time filing maternity and disability leave with them and they ALWAYS lose my paperwork and try to say that my leave is not approved because they haven't received the paperwork so I ALWAYS have to call them for them to be like, "Oh yeah we go it." Also it's so hard to get ahold of anyone who will help me. I keep getting "transferred" which is just them sending me back to the start menu where I have to wait several minutes on hold again. I usually have to make several phonecalls until I get lucky and actually get a competent customer service representative who actually knows what she's doing. Most of the reps have no idea what they're doing. Please improve your training and do better Sedgwick. Also why do they keep asking you to confirm your dates when you have already told them?

They've let me sit, injured for 4 months, no treatment and called me recently to tell me they overpayed me and need me to pay them back. Literally a joke of a company and I will do everything I can NOT to pay them back.

An employee with Sedgwick confirmed with me that I could use my last two weeks of paid parental leave after my daughter's first birthday as long as I scheduled it before then. I have the Sedgwick employee's confirmation of this on voice-mail. Then during my leave, another Sedgwick employee told me they won't pay me because they don't pay the time after her 1st birthday. So that week and a half after her birthday was unpaid and I had to cover it with my sick hours. Luckily I never call in sick so I had over 100 hours of sick pay saved up I could use to cover the time but I shouldn't have had to pay (literally) for their mistake. I understand companies/people can make mistakes but they should of taken ownership in making it right. Instead the employee telling me they wouldn't pay me spoke down to me like I was a child, even after I told her I had a recording of the other employee confirming I would get paid. Terrible communication skills.
