Other than already being angry and having a so called supervisor hang up on me because I gave the company my hospital discharge paperwork and they are not refunding me... the bean counters of Vail Resort tickets... because the 10 physicians don't sign discharge papers after an emergency. Your people say everything must be treated the same? Because no one there has common sense that hospitals have multiple doctors for emergencies? How ridiculous. And you're saying it's because Vail is strict? You can't use common sense? What had this country come to that no one is able to make a reasonable decision anymore. So now I have to go to a doctor...just to get a signature? To get a refund? What a joke this company is.

What an awful experience. I've been trying to obtain my W2s and 1099 for from them for 1 month now. Every time I call I have to pretty much explain myself over and over and again. At this point I'm going to miss my deadline to do my taxes. It has been definitely frustrating dealing with this company. They are extremely rude and none of them seem to know what they are doing. THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!

Pretty simple - their phone number comes across cell phone as potential spam or unknown caller. They don’t want you to answer the phone

Sedgwick motive is to deny all claims until you return to work!!!!!!! They send you medical paperwork to have filled out by your provider but once those sets of paperwork are filled out entirely they’ll stall payment saying that it’s being reviewed by multiple departments just to request more paperwork that they never sent…. They keep your leave status fluctuating from pending and denied. I was told by a representative that I shouldn’t have been out of work for my disability as my disability isn’t a disability to her then she repeated my medical records which is against hippa. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED

First there is know customer service here. They lazy and don't care to help with anything. Everytime I called about the claim I was giv4n incorrect information. When I asked for a manager I was told I can't speak to one I have to speak to my agent which was Terri. She never was at work or she called twice in three weeks after I called 10 times requesting someone call me back. Three weeks later they never send my return to work date so I had to take a additional day off. My claim was denied because she said I asked for help not that my doctors recommend I take the time off. After he diagnosed me with depression and anxiety I guess if I murder my whole family first then I can get the help i needed

Ashely Rhone is my adjuster. she routinely denied claims telling me that "I am not paying for you to sit around" when I broke my foot at work. She denied my disability payments allowed to all injured people and would insult me telling me "have the day you deserve" while also telling me you are a fake and fraud. I don't understand because Ashley has all of my medical records - everything and talking down to me using the information contained in my medical records. She called me lazy on few occasions when I couldn't go back to work. Ashely is very hostile and although I never met her in person sounds like an angry black woman. They have my entire life at the click of a button and use our medical records against us. she even suggested that I fire the lawyer I hired calling the law firm unorganized a bunch of Mexicans. Ashely is a awful person

Does anyone know who to call to report this company? I have a unique situation where both parents have very serious medical conditions and they approved the claims but I have problems with them approving the actual days off - both parents doctors have revised the forms to Sedgwicks "new terms" yet because they claim it is not on a different part of the form they do not recognize / approve the terms! Supervisors won't call back, claim examiner is horrible to work with and does not offer any guidance - I told them to call the doctor offices and signed the voluntary form to allow them to do this, they say they will and they never do! Didn't get access to portal (didn't even know about portal, until claim was approved (1 week after start of illnesses" yet when I entered the first two dates off they denied one and claim they gave me a courtesy day but will not approve the day off because it wasn't filed within 24 hours of the day off!!!! How could I have reported it on their portal if I didn't know about the portal until a week later?!?!?! First time I called for a supervisor they transferred me to my case worker.... I told her I wanted her supervisor and was told to call back because she could not transfer me! This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever dealt with, when I am already stressed due to almost losing one parent and the other parent is getting cancer palliative care! Wish my company would use someone else that actually knows fmla law!!!!

Absolute horrible for claims service. They were hired by my company to review my disability claim. They never returned any phone calls or responded to any messages. They left me cold and dry for over 3 months and they went passed their deadline for an answer on my claim. After numerous daily calling and texting finally 3 months past the deadline they respond with denied.

This is the worst company in the World. Giving them a one star is being really nice. I have had to deal with these clowns twice and the first claim was denied because they said my house was too old. Even though it was built in 2012 and Sears damaged my wooden kitchen floors with water. Now I have another claim that has been in there office for almost a year now. Does anyone ever work in this company you called them and they pass you around like a napkin. I’m a disabled veteran and this is a bunch of BS. Please by any means stay away from this useless company.

dangerous. These people were hired by my insurance company to deal with my house fire. Since then they have shown a lack of responsibility and neglected to see the bad electrical work done in my property even though I sent them pictures of the electrical work done by Garads. I got 3 of my own electricians in to find a live wire left lose with no cap on!!!!! I made several complaints and they ignored it so went to my insurance company and escalated it. A woman called Sarah Davies was my case haner and then I got transferred over to Paula Cook. Both were useless. I had to go back to my insurance company and take matters in to my own hands. Bad and very unprofessional. Avoid!!!!!

Everything. Nothing is done when said it will, I have to call continuously about the same issues. Not listened to and the whole Sedgwick system is a stressfully mess. I don’t know how this claim service is still working with the amount incompetence there. I’ll quit my job before I deal with them again. Deplorable!

Let’s start out by saying if I could give zero stars, I would have- one star is way too generous for them!!!! This company is the epitome of the worst nightmare ever, not just for the patient, but their doctor(s) as well! I’m a migraine suffer who also gets aura (loss/blurred vision) and stroke-like symptoms, numbness/tingling sensation, weakness, slow thinking and slurred speech. Sedgwick denied my claim twice because there were no objective findings documented by my neurologist. My case manager at Sedgwick even suggested that in order to get this objective clinical information needed, that the next time I have a migraine, I should go (drive) to see my neurologist so that she can examine me and will then have some objective notes to document and submit to Sedgwick. Really, you want me to get in a car and drive while I can barely see and having stroke-like symptoms. What kind of people work at Sedgwick; where is their compassion, concern and humanity. So jump in a car to not only kill myself, but take some additional innocent people on the road with me while I’m at it! I said to her you’ve apparently never suffered from a migraine because it debilitates you, so she then said have someone else drive you. Wow, this is who my company hired to handle employee disability claims. If anything, the way this company conducts themselves and handles patient claims are what causes anxiety and additional, senseless migraine headaches! I would not recommend this company to satan or my worst enemy! Employers, I implore you to stay FAR away from this disgraceful company who causes grief instead of working with you to relieve you from it!

This is my second time using Sedgwick through my employer. The first person I encountered was Clancy and she was so rude . Ms./Mrs. Watts is now the representative working on my case. She is not only kind but helpful and responsive.

I had a total knee replacement and was to be off of work 8 weeks. I had problems with my knee so I needed an extension of 4 more weeks. After the doctor sent it my notes they called and needed more medical notes. I didn't hear from them until the 6th week (I was already back at work) They called to tell me that my 4 week extension was denied, and I wouldn't be getting paid for the last 4 weeks. What??? Now your telling me this. Very difficult to work with. The worst! I only gave 1 star is because I had to. 0 stars for me

Sedgwick is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with!! The only 2 words they know is "objective medical". I had 2 Dr offices send in all medical notes, treatment plans etc and Sedgwick still say they need more forms? I showed my Dr this Sedgwick note and they said we sent them all the paperwork we have. Still not good enough for Sedgwick! They are a bunch of robots reading from a script! They seem to have no real interest in making a short term disability claim coherent at all. Out of being off for four months they did not even get one payment correct. A few times there was no money at all $0. Either 2 Dr offices are inept at providing the proper paperwork or Sedgwick is proficient in denying claims regardless of the documentation provided. Needless to say this has been one of the worst experiences of my life. They have proven to be a difficult company to deal with! Simply put "Sedgwick Sucks!!!"

We have been dealing with a STD claim since July. We have had denials, appeals, and denials to appeals. Sedgwick as a company has been horrible to deal with. They will not give you extension numbers and every time you call, you get a different representative. All of the representatives have been pretty helpful, but the management staff has been horrible. They hardly ever return calls or give you the information needed. One time our appeal was denied and we didn’t know about it for 2 weeks after the date it was supposed to be settled. And that was only because I pestered them. STD is a benefit and it doesn’t feel that way when you constantly have to worry about getting paid and fight to be paid. This is in top of the stress you endure during your illness that requires you to be off work. I wish that SEDGWICK would get a complete overhaul in their practices and treat clients with some respect!!
