“I was unhappy with my previous optician so tried the Oldham Specsavers for my 2-yearly test. The optician was very knowledgeable and friendly and explained everything to me. Then I went to choose some frames and assistant Emma was very patient with me as I couldn't find the frames I liked. She truly went the extra mile and found me a pair of discontinued frames, which were exactly what I was looking for, after I had looked at every frame in the shop. Thanks Emma.”

“I arrived early. Was immediately taken up to reception where I waited in a clean and well presented waiting room. I was offered a drink whilstbi waited which was, incidentally no more than 3 or minutes. Was then shown in for the first part of my eye examination. The assistant was friendly and fully informative of the procedure shecwas about to carry out. I was then directed into another room whereby my eye exam took place. The specialist was patient whilst I decided which lenses I could or couldn't see out of. I didn't feel rushed at all. She even spoke to me about laser surgery and was helpful in answering my questions about it.
I felt valued when I attended spec savers (which isn't always the case when attending appointments). A thoroughly pleasing appointment.

“Fantastic treatment during my visit to the Hillsborough Branch, nice friendly staff and no waiting around.
I was due a new eye test and knew I needed a stronger prescription and kept forgetting to make an appointment. When I broke my glasses I booked in for both test and new glasses. I was expecting to wait a week for my glasses but as I had broken them asked if they could do them any quicker. They rushed them through so that I could pick them up the next day, where I was treated with the same great service.”
“I had my yearly contact lenses check today. Fabulous service in the Wisbech branch. Andy the optician so friendly answered all my questions. I also needed new glasses Kerry the assistant helped me choose a pair, even though I tried on loads she was very patient. Then we sorted out the lenses and paid. “Went in for safety glasses and was very impressed with the range and the knowledge of the lady helping me choose. She made sure that it fitted well and would provide the right protection, advising which frames were suitable and which were not. The optician was also very good, he was freelance and covering for someone else so reassuring to know that even when the main optician needs to be covered, there are good people to back them up. Overall a good, friendly and helpful experience.”

“Vanessa in the Folkestone Specsavers branch is amazing. I went from glasses to contacts, on my first contact visit she went though the whole process with me and my sister who came with me for support. My appointment wasn’t rushed she was happy fun laughed with us as I was quite excited but remained very professional. She explained everything to us about wearing contacts then she put my contacts and then taught me how to put them in and out myself making the whole experience fun. she was happy and chatty and by the end of the consultation I felt I had made a friend and my eyesight was brilliant I skipped out of Specsavers !!!! Since then I’ve had to book in a couple of times with a couple of little beginners problems and she has helped me sort them straight away!!! She is lovely and I look forward to going as I know as soon as I see her She will fix it”
