Great shoes, this would have been our second pair because the others are well loved and need replacing. Arrived really quickly, faster than expected delivery date. However inner seam on the shoe was folded down and it was really uncomfortable. I sent an email stating shoe was faulty and they responded asking for a photo. Very difficult taking a photo of the inside of a black trainer. To verify they were faulty I took the shoes to store, they couldn't help and said faulty goods have to be returned via post. So needed to return them and pay another set of postage. Returns form on the website doesn't work. Plus due to time frame needed to order another pair rather than wait for an exchange and pay next day delivery postage. The shoe is great, the service especially for faulty goods is poor.

If I could give less than one star I would. Ordered trainers for twins but received incorrect sizing. Size on box correct but inside trainers were one size bigger. Thought it was a picking error on their part and decided to keep them to grow into and placed another order. Only to once again receive the second consignment with correct sizing on box but trainers too big. The staff on the chat said no mistake was made by them and I had received the correct sizing as per their conversion of US sizing. My question to them is why have one US size (C9) on the barcoded box and then the trainers inside are (C10) and then tell the customer no mistakes are made. All I wish is to receive two pairs of trainers size C9 which my twins can wear instead of having four pairs which are too big.

Ordered on the 19.8.21 paid for next day delivery its now 31.8.21 still not here been delivered sent messages no reply then get message saying there looking into it but still no order find this day light robbery pay for a service that they can't supply how many other customers have they ripped off

I bought some trainers at Christmas 2020. Here we are about to enter September 2021 and no trainers, no explanation and no refund. Have written to customer services several times and get a generic someone is looking into your case reply. I can’t even find words to describe how bad this service is!

I have purchased an item in Silverburn store on 25 Aug 2021 at aprox 6pm. The price was reduced to £40 but it was written in a manner that the number 4 appeared as 1 . I have said I was unaware of it and wanted to return it on the spot. The sport top also had a defect. The shop refused to procees a returns and gave me a £40 credit instead. This is very poor customer service and breeches my rights.

Everytime I purchase off sports direct my parcels take forever to come. As I needed this parcel quickly for an event I paid £7.99 for next day delivery. 4 days later and I still havent recieved my parcel. I try to contact sports direct but the number is a premium. I go onto the web chat for them to tell me that I have to wait 48 hours for them to investigate where my parcel is and then they will contact the delivery service and it will take another 5 days for a reply from them! They cut me off when I asked to speak to a manager. The service is absolutely discusting and you cant get help from anyone. I will definitely not be ordering from sports direct again.

I got expert advice from a shoe repairer. He said that because of the materials used, the shoe could not be repaired and that the design was not fit for purpose. They also ignored the C19 isolation within their timescale of the guarantee. I think buying from Sports Direct is ok if you want the item to last a few months.

Terrible service. Placed order on the 27th july, arrived ar delivery compnay on the 29th of july and it has been there ever since, neither sports direct or the delivery company seem to care and neither are willing to help resovle the problem, the took my money and got nothing in return. Buyer beware.

Visited silverlink store thursday 5th august staff not helpful basically standing around asked for help told to just look myself everything was out certainly wont be going back there

They take your money then tell you the courier can't find your order then tell you they tried to deliver when you were in then say it's getting returned 10 days later they say that haven't received it back so you could be waiting a month from when you pay them to get your money back if they give you it and this is an order they know was not delivered.SHOCKING way to treat customers

They use a very slow and unknown courier service in order to send orders across Europe although the charge is on par with the other well known courier companies. It is unacceptable that someone has to wait almost a month for a small package that weighs 1kg to be delivered in the E.U.

I tried to return a pair of trainers… I tried to return a pair of trainers that were of poor manufacture (width of shoe different). The manager of the READING shop insited my feet were the problem! he took shoes to front of shop laughed with employee and returned quote: nothing wrong we have measured and tested width!!! They would only give credit note and under no circumstances refund my cash paid. I add that the trainers were not worn other than to try at home due to the filthy floor in shop, receipt, label on trainers in tact. I explained the sale of goods act his reply..."either credit note or nothing" I had no choice but to accept. The Law: From 1 October 2015, under the Consumer Rights Act you have the right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described and get a full refund. But this right is limited to 30 days from the date you purchased the product. Sports Direct should explain to its management that the appraoch I received is unacceptable.

I ordered two packs of trainer socks (along with other items) They were offering the choice of white ones, black ones or pastel ones. I chose the pastel socks and bought two packs. When my order arrived I found I'd been sent one pack of the white ones, and one pack of grey ones with different colours on the toes and heels (these ones aren't even on the website anywhere!) I contacted customer services who said that I had been sent the correct items(!!!) as there is a sentence at the bottom of the description that says "The colour you receive may vary from the image shown" - my problem with this is twofold, firstly, it's in small writing at the very bottom of the description, and who reads the whole of the description for something like these socks - you can see what they look like, you choose what colour you want, then you buy them. Secondly, if you have three colour options and you click on one to buy that colour (pastels) - who in their right mind thinks that the colour they are going to get might be one of the other colour options being offered that's completely different to the one they've chosen - it just doesn't make sense. Obviously, they are too low a value item to spend money returning them, and with their response being that they sent the correct socks(?!?!) you wouldn't be guaranteed to get the colour you choose to buy even if you ordered them again. On reading the reviews I can see that this has happened to a lot of customers - it's quite frankly an absolutely ridiculous policy, that really isn't going to inspire loyalty in their customers. This experience has shown me that you can't trust this company - buying a specific colour, then being told that being sent colours completely different to the ones you ordered is correct - shows their level of care and customer service - I certainly won't be buying from them again.

I ordered trainers for my daughter going back to school. She was so excited about them, but SD left us extremely disappointed. The first pair arrived, just a bit too little, so I got them exchanged. The second pair were filthy! Clearly worn with food stains on them. Customer service was very poor. I couldn't speak to anyone directly over the phone as I had hoped, but I couldn't. Therefore emails were exchanged asking for the same info over again and again. No one could offer me a decent solution. I just wanted an exchange, but my only options were (how insulting is this..) £5 off the shoes!!! (Errrrr...no thanks! How about a clean pair??) OR a refund. No exchange was offered and now I'm back at the drawing board in regards to shoes. It took us a long time to decide on these. Never again SD. The worst customer care. Reminds me of the bad sellers on eBay who offer you a tiny bit of money back for a faulty item. Down right awful.

The ordering seems fine, but the delivery process is painfully slow. The organisation really needs to speed up delivery. Also the charges for delivery are very high, with no option to collect in store.

I never got my package oder my money back. The help center couldn't tell me when I get my money back and they told me, they don't have an email address where I can ask these questions. And my order was already 2 months ago.
