“Stubhub was being discussed on the local radio in Charleston , SC the day before the concert stating that people have been sent the wrong seats for concerts, then I realized they sent me the wrong tickets and would not correct or refund money! The seats were the nose bleed highest row and I purchased my seats 2 months ahead of time after carefully choosing seats that my personal handicap would allow me to get to safely and without bothering anyone else. Ticketmaster said I could try reselling the incorrect seats via their site. Stubhub offered nothing!!!
I am so disappointed I won’t get to experience the concert for CeCe Winans in Savannah, GA December 12, 2024!”
“I am beyond disappointed with my experience using StubHub for tickets to the Usher concert last night. I purchased tickets in good faith for myself and two friends, only to arrive at the venue and discover that the tickets were INVALID.
We were stopped at the door, and instead of enjoying the show, we spent over 30 minutes waiting outside, trying to resolve the issue. It was embarrassing, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.
StubHub claims to be a reliable platform, but this experience proved otherwise. How does a company that prides itself on offering a "FanProtect Guarantee" allow this to happen? My friends and I missed part of the concert, and the entire night was tainted by this unnecessary inconvenience.
I expect more from a platform of this size and reputation. If you can’t guarantee valid tickets, what exactly are we paying for? This was not just a minor hiccup; it was a major failure in customer service and trust.
Do better, StubHub. Fans deserve better.”
“I’d give a zero if I could! I purchased tickets for the Taylor Swift concert and the seller never released the tickets. The tickets offered to me as a replacement from StubHub were the listen only tickets right behind the stage with no view of the stage at all. I had clear stage view tickets. They claim a guarantee of replacement tickets equal to better than the tickets you had. They Absolutely did not honour that. I will be sending a complaint to the BBB.”
“If I could give zero stars I would've! Absolutely garbage company!! I bought tickets over a month out from the concert. They were $200 and then about $90 in fees. They were advertised as "great seats". I received the tickets the day of the show and they're way off to the side in the second row from the very BACK of the venue!!!! TERRIBLE SEATS!!! I did the virtual chat and called. They won't do anything at all to help! It's false advertising at its best!! Don't ever buy tickets from stubhub!!!!”
“These people is not who they say they are.. I'll purchase a Usher ticket August 2024 here In Atlanta, Georgia, however, as everybody knows Usher reschedule his concert until December of 2024 I decided to Sell my ticket since it was no use of me going. The ticket was sold on the sixth of December
However they have now put me in a situation where I have to wait 8 to 10 business days, To receive the funds back into my account so the ticket was sold on the 6th of December, but the funds would not go back into my account until the 17th of December.Do not trust this company.Do not buy a resel ticket from this company Do not buy any tickets from this company. They're not who they say they are. All the tickets come from ticketmaster. All of their tickets are notoriginal tickets.
Do not waste your money nor time. Looking?
Do not try to purchase anything from this company. You will be highly agitated and highly disgusted by the customer service that this company provides.I promise you please stick with ticketmaster they are the originals When he comes to Any source of tickets”
“Worst experience ever. I bought three pretty pricey tickets for the Taylor Swift concert and never got them. Stubhub said they would give us tickets that were “equal or better” to what we had bought. They did not! We ended up with seats where we couldn’t even see the stage. They were worth about one third of what we had paid. Stubhub refused any refund, I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB and am awaiting a response.”
“Strange thing-I went to purchase tickets to a show, and was told my price was guaranteed for 10 minutes. After entering my email, and the passcode they sent me, the price of my tickets changed. I then called customer service, who told me they had no record of my original price-as if I were lying to them. Not a great experience.”
“I am a disabled yet, and asked for parking at stadium. You don't find out until morning of event, but parking was across a river not next to stadium. Customer service was horrible. Lost my business!”
“StubHub is one of the worst platforms I have ever worked with. I never leave negative reviews but felt I had to here. I purchased the wrong tickets (my fault) as a guest, and since they have to refund, I had to sell them. They make you create an account to sell them but don’t tell you that you technically have two separate accounts (guest and official). I sold my tickets to a friend and transferred them over, securing a sale. No listings left on my account and then they tell me I have another buyer after I sold them? And telling me I have to pay $300 if I can’t complete the sale. Purposely misleading, not user friendly in any way. Awful.”
“Can I give negative stars? I ordered tickets and was given a time frame for shipping them to me - 5 days to send via FedEx, which seemed excessive. Their projected date of delivery to my home was after my travel date, so I tried to use their online system to put in a travel delivery address. The system asked for a date up until which they could deliver to my home; I gave them that and then indicated the cutoff date to deliver to the travel address. That system sucks and didn't work, so I contacted customer service via chat. They were helpful and entered the address I gave them as the travel address and date. I went back into the online system to double check the information, and they had listed the travel address in both locations, but with the correct cutoff date. I change it, so that, if shipped by a certain date, they would come to my home, otherwise, the tickets would go to the travel address. This is all on the same day that I bought the tickets.
Jump to the next day, and I get a notification that they have shipped and will be delivered tomorrow...TO THE TRAVEL ADDRESS. I still had 2 days leeway before I traveled, and wanted to receive them at home, but they screwed that up. I called right after receiving the notification and they tell me there is nothing they can do. I ask why they didn't follow the directions and cut off date that I gave them and they tell me that the shipper messed up. IT WAS STUBHUB! They messed up, but wouldn't own up to it. I still have the FedEx envelope and shipping docs to prove it was their screw up. Fine, at least I can get the tickets.
There is a whole other fiasco with FedEx but that's another story. When I get home, I contact StubHub customer service to ask for a refund of the processing fees - since they didn't fulfil their contract with me. I repeated the same story, but they never seem to get it and claim that they followed the instructions, because the tickets were delivered. I went back and forth with them at least 10 times. When I finally threaten to leave bad reviews everywhere, they tell me they've escalated the case for review, and then that person says there's nothing they can do. I'm sure they just cut and pasted a canned response and never looked into the actual facts of the case. Absolute worst customer service and total rip off for the fees paid to this company. I will NEVER use StubHub or Viagogo (since they bought them too) for anything. I urge you not to either. WORST COMPANY EVER!”
“David in customer service was of no help. You have a Parking Pass INCORRECTLY listed on your website and its fraud. In fact, the Lot K that is drawn on your website doesn’t even produce VIP tickets IN THAT LOT. But because I didn’t fight this before the game started (I had to buy another ticket because I needed to get in the stadium with my son), I am out of my money. I will be sure to NEVER use StubHub again and tell m y entire professional networking of 40K+ to go elsewhere. David in customer service was of no help. “I was excited to find decent Eagles tickets for a decent price, but when I checked out it was more expensive then I thought. I looked at the receipt and there was a $175 service fee. I expect there to be taxes and fees, but that is robbery. Very dishonest if you ask me to tack on $175 right before you checkout. I got a parking pass through Stubhub as well, and I drove around looking for a parking lot that didn't exist. There was only a address. There was no name listed on the parking pass. I finally found the parking area which was a completely different address then the one they gave me. I got to the game an hour later then I had planned. I will never use stubhub again. Save yourself money, time, and frustration and buy your tickets elsewhere!”
“Stubhub is a joke. Bought tickets for the Matt Rife show in Indianapolis in December. It said tickets would be delivered by mobile transfer by the date of the show. After checking all day, an hour before the show i still hadn't received them. I I chatted with the virtual assistant that ultimately sent me to customer service. With a wait of 30-45 minutes didn't have time to wait as the show was about to start. Ended up buying new tickets and figured I would deal with it the next day. Contacted customer service the next day and they refused to give me a refund. I will NEVER purchase tickets here again. Thanks for taking a few hundred dollars!!”
“I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with StubHub. I purchased tickets for a concert in April 2025 in Austin, Texas. Unfortunately, my order was canceled without any explanation or notification.
To make matters worse, StubHub continues to withdraw funds from my account, despite the cancellation of my order. I have attempted to contact their customer service team twice, and both times I was met with unhelpful and suspicious responses that seemed more like a scam than a legitimate attempt to resolve my issue.
As a result of this frustrating and unprofessional experience, I have lost trust in StubHub and will not be using their services again. I strongly advise others to exercise caution when using this platform.
Furthermore, I believe that StubHub's business practices warrant a report to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I hope that by sharing my experience, I can help prevent others from facing similar issues and prompt StubHub to review and improve their customer service and business practices.
Rating: 1/5 stars”
“Bought tickets for Pentatonix in section 4 was given tickets in section 228 totally different area! 4 was on the floor. 228 was up 2 levels.
Also bought prepaid parking voucher for a parking area and said area was completely full of other cars! No one there to help and they will not give refund!”
“WORST.EXPERIENCE.EVER!!! Bought park pass in 09/2024 for concert in 12/2024. Park Pass mysteriously got cancelled 10/2024 with NO notification. Found this out 4 days before the concert, even after receiving notice from StubHub that the park pass e-ticket was available. After contacting StubHub, was told 'it was cancelled by the third-party seller' with no valid explanation. Requested alternate park pass via StubHub & an order was created; HOWEVER, park pass wasn't RELEASED until 2 hours before the concert and we were unable to go due to drive time. In those 4 days leading to the concert, we decided to sell the concert tickets bc we had no place to park (hadn't heard back in a timely manner on the alternate park pass). WTF??? Once the new park pass was FINALLY issued, attempted to SELL ticket online, but it kept getting kicked back 'unable to sell'. What a f***ing racket this business is! Will never--ever, ever, ever--have dealings with this God-awful business again. Lost a sh*t-ton of $$ to this excuse of a business. Would rank them a big fat ZERO stars, but the review process won't allow that. Go figure...”
“Stub hub is a complete rip off over $300 in tickets never released, refusing to give refund because I didn't call in the night of the event to report problem with tickets !! Customer service doesn't speak English ....horrible experience never using them again !! Buyers beware!!”
