“Absolute scam. I have booked at taxi from £83. I called them twice and they confirm it is there. then 5 mns after the 2nd conversation, they send me an cancellation email, followed by an other email asking whether I want to rebook, with NO MENTION of change of price. the next email is then a confirmation of taxi with the price of £260.70!! I call them and ask to reapply the price I approved and they refused. They took my money and I am now in a dispute process with Taxicode through the bank. This is for sure illegal to take money without showing the price beforehand. Daylight robery. Avoid at all cost!!”

“Complete Scam. Booked and paid online for a group of 6 persons from Gatwick to Camden in London for tomorrow. After a few minutes I received a phone call informing me that there was a mistake in the total mileage calculated and that we will be charged extra by the driver. I requested this information to be sent to me via email but so far nothing is forthcoming. I am trying to communicate with them via their chat in their website, however no one is getting in touch with me. I still don't know what is going to happen tomorrow, or if our booking will be honored!!!”

“Useless!!! Booked a minibus for a party of 12 to be collected at midnight. The booking was made a week in advance and the money taken from my card. On the morning of the party I received a cancellation notice and refund confirmation. I live in a small village and therefore required the booking to be made in advance. I spent all night ferrying people to and from my daughters 18th birthday party. Complete JOKE!”

“Awful service. Cancelled 24 hours before and offered a service £40 more expensive. This company then insisted we also pay for parking at airports, despite the already inflated costs. Absolutely horrendous experience - avoid at all costs and pay more elsewhere. Your original quote is unlikely to be your final one here anyway!”

“DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I booked a week in advance and it cancelled 30 minutes before. They haven’t even responded to my email complaint I sent 3 weeks ago. Unprofessional and absolutely appalled. Save yourself the trouble and don’t use this service.”

“I booked with this company thinking it was a legitimate company, they assigned me a taxi firm that did not exist, have no website and only had a Hotmail email address, when I challenged this and wanted a refund they refused. Don't use this company”

“Total scam!!! I booked GOJO but if you want to complain and get a deserved refund you’ve got to deal with this company who just ignore ANY complaints. GOJO is a scam and, from my experience, so is this one!!! Now taking GOJO to court.”

“Hidden extra charges. It's a sly con you cannot do anything about when you are a single female traveller unable to get home unless you pay the extras. The Driver, however, was nice helpful and drove well. His boss spent 20 mins yelling at me on the phone threatening to drop me off on the m25. Wouldn't produce any terms and conditions to back up the extras he wanted to charge for. Scammers. Dont use.”

“Taxicode are the worst organisation ever, never ever use them. I'm still waiting for my £19.50 refund back from July 2021 when I was a student. This is a lot of money for me not to have and have missed out on for 8 months. They booked me a taxi on the evening of July 2nd for my early morning train and then I woke up on the 3rd July Saturday to an email that said they had cancelled it at 5am so I literally had no way of getting to the station. They said they would refund me in 5 working days. This never happened and still hasn't. Every few months I ring to try and get my money back and still NOTHING.”

“Booked a taxi for 05.30 to airport woke up at 0.500 to find out they cancelled my taxi at 03.30 via email. Had to drive airport and stay in carpark at £30 per day ... Avoid this firm like the plague”

“Absolutely unreliable. Canceled my 4 am booking in the middle of the night. Missed my flight. I kept calling them as my reservation was unconfirmed and they kept saying it is ok the taxi will be there. Not.”
