“Booked and paid £140 up front for an airport transfer. The taxi was a no show. Rang ETS Chauffeurs - 07724249724 to see where they were. They knew nothing about it, couldnt make it as no cars available. Rang Taxicode to see what the hell was going on. They said they would call me back. They didnt. I got a lift to the airport as time was short. Then they cancelled the booking and refunded £24. Its basically fraud or theft. Cant believe google allow criminals to advertise on their website. Will contact the fraud dept of my bank plus trading standards.”

“THE WORST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE SO PLEASE DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY - We were honoured to be invited to a 'once in a lifetime event' at a Buckingham Palace Garden Party so we extravagantly booked a limo well in advance in joyful anticipation. They cancelled 3 times (a) one week before the event so we re-booked with them, (b) 2 days before the event and too late for us to go to another operator, so we re-booked with them (c) on the day of the event and 5 minutes before they were due to arrive which left us hugely upset, disappointed and in search of a cab! Arriving late for such a prestigious event is not great! Still waiting for a refund despite emailing several times with zero response.”

“Terrible!! Not able to contact them, no confirmation, taxi obviously didn’t turn up but fortunately I’d read the reviews so booked another taxi to come. I did get my money back AFTER the taxi didn’t arrive, but only because a taxi company who didn’t have anything good to say about them told me not to click cancel otherwise you only get 10% back!!! They are clearly hoping people will click cancel so they can keep 90% of everyone’s money!!!”

““Taxi was fine but the cost was ludicrous. £22 for a daytime journey of less than 2 miles!!! and the same for the return. I haven't used a taxi for years so just assumed the increase was over time, but I have now been told that the fare should have been nearer £7 each way. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE book direct with the taxi company. Taxicode are just out to rip of the customer, BE WARNED. ””

“This company is a bit of a scam.. they take a booking and then 50 minutes before they are supposed to arrive they cancel the booking and then hold on to your money up to circa 5 days.. they don’t answer the phone .. everything thing is on mail and you have no recourse .. I booked a trip back from a festival, in the morning and they took my 90 pounds and then simply cancelled 50minutes before the end of the concert.. please use with caution not very reputable .. shocking avoid”

“Scan organisation, no feedback on driver, no answer on their phone line after multiple attempts. As you get near the time booked with no driver you have no option to cancel and find elsewhere You think as no driver allocated and no one taking call you will get refund. No such luck! Shocking”

“Pre-paid online. Taxi never turned up. No refund, they said I had cancelled. Why would I cancel a pre-booked taxi in the middle of Somerset? Absolute Scam company.”

“Made a booking a few weeks in advance for a large group after a wedding, it was cancelled 12 hours before by taxi code. I was offered a small discount on an alternative booking, so made this. This booking was then cancelled by taxi code 3 hours before the required time! Foolishly attempted a third booking and the booking portal failed. I received no booking confirmation, no service and have subsequently been charged the full amount anyway. When I raised it with them I was told there was no record of it and to contact my bank. Never. Again.”

“If you like to play Russian roulette with your taxis, look no further. The process is familiar. Enter details online & receive a booking confirmation. At this point, your booking isn't actually confirmed though - you have to wait for a driver to be "allocated". If a driver isn't allocated, you are passed (transparently, without further notification) to other companies for them to pick up the fare. At this point, you have no idea whether anyone has picked up your fare, unless you go to their website and track your booking. Obviously I am writing this because I did this and found that no-one had, the day before I had to fly on business.”

“I booked a taxi to the Airport. They had emailed me the night before my taxi that it had been confirmed. I got a text 3 minutes before my taxi was due to say there was no available drivers. Joke of a company.”

“The worst possible way to book a taxi -NEVER DO IT. They let me down the night before at 10pm for a 12 person mini bus and as you can imagine ruined our weekend as a result. THE WORST part is you can't get hold of them and they honest do not care - DO NOT USE.”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMING THIEVES. A taxi was booked for my elderly father to take him from the airport to home. The link didn't work and nobody picked up the phone at "Customer Service". Their email bouced back. My elderly was left stranded at the airport and it took me ages to get him home. I wish that I had looked at the reviews before booking. The reviews are horrific. I have reported these con merchants to the police.”

“A TOTAL RIP OFF. They don't advise you in advance of their cancellation terms. The maximum you will get back if you cancel is 55% of the amount you paid upfront and the least you will get back is 10%. If you cancel the day before the journey or on the actual day of journey you will get nothing back!. You have to read their full terms and conditions to find these terms. It's under item 7 of their full terms and conditions. These people are just bookers and pass the job on to a local taxi firm where you live. Taxicode are based in Holland!. You have been warned”

“Absolutely shocking. Booked the taxi and they take a week to get back to me when online it states 24 hours, but then take the money but cancel it 2 weeks before we needed the taxi. Re booked again, waiting for a confirmation but because they didn't confirm once again I cancelled the booking because it's unreliable so when I email for a refund ( and read the cancellation policy I am eligible for a refund ) they email back saying they can't refund me- although they would of cancelled it anyway because it's been longer than 24 hour confirmation and now stopped replying to emails. So unreliable don't bother.”

“Tried to book 3 minibuses and an executive car to take guests home from our wedding. Paid in full for all services, over £600 in travel costs, and thought the booking was complete. Several weeks later, and quite close to our wedding date, they cancelled all booked services stating that 'Your chosen operator has been unable to fulfil your booking on this occasion'. However, it seems to happen EVERY OCCASION you book with them. I was also not refunded for one of the minibuses and had to chase them to get them to refund it. Obviously they never intended to provide us with a service, and sent us email confirmations which aren't even worth the megabytes they're written on. Joke of a company, DO NOT USE!”
