After successfully ordering a few items from Temu I bought a camera for $75.98 on March 30, 2024. When I had received the camera I discovered the identical one at Aliexpress.com for 38.97. Reading that Temu has a price adjusting policy I wrote them a letter on April 12 asking for some price adjustment, and if no adjustment was forthcoming, that I intend to return the camera for a refund, and to buy one from Aliexprss. To be sure, I sent Temu an email on April 15, and not receiving a reply, sent another email on April 24. I also mentioned in the correspondence that, if the difference had been $10 or 15; I would not have bothered to write, but it being almost half the price it is a different story. As of today, May 16, 2024 I have not received a reply to any of the three mails, which indicated a very poor customer service. They got my money – never mind what the guy wrote, they probably think. I also have read several bad reviews about the Temu refund procedure and therefore I changed my mind on returning the camera, avoiding long long waits or, possibly, never to receive a refund. I do not recommend this company. I have uninstalled the Temu app from my tablet and have told most people I know about this experience. Do not buy from Temu. P. S. The camera is a good one and I like it. Mill Bay, BC, Canada

I was a big fan of Temu until last week when a 'minimum spend' of $65 was imposed, without any warning. I have placed more than 100 orders since their Australian launch. As a thank you I received an unrealistic $65 minimum spend. How $65 came about I do not know, especially when others complained their minimum spend is $30, $35, $40. I believe new customers don't have a minimum spend. Thanks Temu for supporting your loyal, and in many cases, longstanding customers. I contacted Temu to have limit lifted, only to experience the frustration others had complained about. Temu would not listen, refused to help and replied with standard spiel before disconnecting. I got nowhere. Their paragraph in the automated spiel "we understand your concerns ...." definition - our impersonal reply confirms we don't care and we're not removing minimum spend policy. Their justification for minimum spend is a  result of their commitment to sustainability. In reality, Temu's minimum spend policy is a total contradiction of their sustainability commitment.  Imposing a minimum spend:- * requires purchasing more products resulting in heavier packages * heavier cargo leads to higher fuel consumption durinģ transportation to destination *Temu is increasing its carbon footprint due to minimum spend policy. Imposing a minimum spend:- * Customer has to purchase more products * Company has to replace sold stock * Factory has to manufacture company's stock, probably using depleting fossil fuels *Factory will emit pollution in process of manufacture to meet company's order *Temu has made further contribution to greenhouse emissions by imposing minimum spend policy. Imposing a minimum spend:- * Customer has made unwanted purchases to attain a wanted item. * Almost all items are wrapped in plastic * Plastics ultimately end up in landfill and burnt emitting toxic pollutants and irritants into the air. * Temu will only augment the situation introducing their minimum spend policy. The above are broad examples that 'don'teven scratch the surface' of sustainability. Temu is a huge multi billion dollar platform dealing with emissions, footprints, environmental polluting and sustainability.  Why are they forcing excessive purchases, unwanted purchases and financially draining purchases to add to what they are supposedly trying to sustain?

Temu set $65 minimum spendI was very happy with Temu. Even writing their praises when others knocked them or queried if they were scammers. Tonight I went to place an order and there's minimum spend $65 placed on my account. That is a fair whack for a lot of people to come up with. I contacted customer service and was told it was due to shipping. I have too many small orders. I pointed out I usually place 2 orders on same day or another order following day due to "there is only xx left" or "other people have this in their carts, order now so you don't miss out" or words to that affect. Therefore I lam forced to place the order because of warning. I have never placed an order under $20 and try to keep my minimum to approx $25. My last three orders $37.84, $74.60 & $23.75. I am so disappointed in this policy. I am left with no option but to go to their opposition. On one review site many complained about minimum spend and all received same spiel answer.

I like some of their products. But what has me upset is the fact that when I’ve left 1 star reviews they are changing my reviews to 5 stars without notifying me, and that is a huge red flag. I don’t like companies that are dishonest.

Avoid this company like the plague. They are whimsical for their own profit, they don't value their customers. They suddenly bumped up my order minimum to $40 without prior warning. And their promotion games are very gimmicky, designed to get you so frustrated that you place an order or refer friends to spend money. On many levels Temu is a greedy company thinly veiled as "environmentalists" and "Helping poor people to live their best lives".

I had previously been a customer for approximately 2 years. When I had problems and needed something refunded with an instant credit there was never a problem. Suddenly, now there's a problem doing that and I'm out over $60. Be very careful what you order from this company because they do not care at all about customer service or taking care of their customers. Be sure that you order only low dollar items because you're not going to get a refund and you're going to be out a lot of money. Buyer beware!

I just ordered few items for fun to test, Its Dollar store online shopping. Yes, its Dollar store may be even worst. I am donating everything i ordered $60 to a thrift store, Stuff looks good but is not sturdy or durable. Can't blame the company given the prices they offering including shipping directly from China or Mexico?

Temu has the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life, Temu agents keep sending me the same rebootics emails again and again, they don't even trying to read my request and my complaint about requesting a refund because they shipped my product to a wrong address (different address than the one I selected in the order). I feel like I am talking to a reboot, the only this change in their replies is the structure of the email and the agent name, but they keep sending me the same rebootic reply. This is really unprofessional and frustrating, they have no human touch and I'm wondering do they have a supervisor or a quality team who check how the agents play with us and ignore what I'm saying. In one ticket more than 20 agents who keep copying and pasting and sending me the same reply like a reboot. To Temu management, check the Temu Ticket: "1713837357032292" to see how is your agents is unprofessional because I will report you to European commission ECC for violating all the e-commerce rules and for violating my rights as a customer. I need my money back so proceed to refund my order "BG-2404215B2U9BZSS7".

Temu refuses to provide refund for defective products! I ordered a number of items, one of which was defective. I took photos of the defective item that cost $2, fully expecting an immediate acceptance of my refund request. No. After two hours of chat time Temu still refused to issue a refund without me returning the product, which would have required me to walk an hour away to a shipper. Again, for a $2 defective product. Please shop at AliExpress. They are reliable, trustworthy and professional.

This is a review for Temu in the UK - they have closed their UK website - too many bad reviews! PO-210-01540734956153889-D01 BEWARE! This company does not comply with British retail law, if you purchase in the UK The above order was delivered by 'EVRI' (our worst UK delivery company!) - late! (Temu gave a £4 'late' refund). (EVRI used to be called Hermes - which if you read their review history anywhere, you will discover has one of the worst review histories ever.) Temu refused to refund for two missing items - saying that the goods left their establishment intact. However I know they were missing. They do not show any evidence of 'inclusion' in their response, but they have my photographic evidence that they are not on the tray that I unpacked them on. So it's their word against mine. They were very quick to deny my claim. On further examining the package it is clear that it was ripped - then 'repaired' with clear tape. So if Temu have 100% integrity - and I can assure you that I do too - then it must have been 'nicked' by the courier. When EVRI were Hermes one of their couriers went through an elaborate procedure to 'deliver' an expensive leather jacket. His false completion of 'sorry you weren't in' card and false pictures of it on our doorstep - then walking away with the 'Joe Brown's' leather jacket box without ringing the bell, were all captured on CCTV - only to be accosted by my partner - in bare feet - to wrest the package off a very sheepish thief 100 yds down the road. He performed his 'trick' directly under the purview of the CCTV front door camera! The courier who delivered the Temu package was very camera shy - he wore a black close-fitting hoodie - with just a tiny part of his face showing - and carefully placed the package in the 'parcel chute' - ripped-side down - in the 'proof of delivery' photo. Whilst his identity would be easy to ascertain if Temu took it further - he probably felt more confident that it would be difficult to retrieve the delivery information and who and when had tampered with the package en route. Temu have refused to claim from the courier company and will not engage in insurance-claim processes. They have refused to engage in any discussion about the sender being liable if non-delivery occurs in the British retail law processes. We take online platforms and payment systems for granted in the UK. In the rare event of non-delivery occurring with eBay, they are very good at rectifying the problem - as are PayPal - who I believe were very closely aligned with eBay. Amazon too are very good at refunding for missing items (even when they too were hit with 'interception' fraud in my district.) But Temu? Be wary. So what do I do about Temu? I can assure you - with as much photographic proof as I can - that the items were not delivered - which if Temu's response is to be believed - must have been removed in transit. I would be willing to sign an affidavit to state the items were not present. The courier who delivered the package was very keen to hide his identity from my CCTV cameras - and placed the package in the delivery chute so you couldn't see the 'tear'. He wore a hoody masking most of his face. Stupidly I have another Temu order in the pipeline - but it is my last. And hopefully it will all arrive in an intact package - presumably by 'EVRI/Hermes' (Who are due for a name change soon - not long now until they reach their 'poor review' threshold!) With the Temu App now uninstalled - it's Adieu from me. Adieu

I ordered a half dozen toys, 2 were 'defective'. One was missing an essential part and the other had a part that wasn't glued as it should have been. I was given credit for one product only. Their policy is 'only one credit/return per order'.
