“Temu is a SCAM. They get you to buy things and then half of what they send is broken or moulded or not AT ALL what they said they were sending you. They know this is happening and they don't care. They have been notified of the laws they are breaking, and their response is that their policies override laws. They don't, but this is Temu's whole approach. Lie, steal, defraud, scam. “THIS SITE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN BY THE FEDS! MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT GOT CLOSED DOWN BECAUSE TEMU HACKED MY BANK ACCOUNT AND HAD CHARGES PENDING ON MY ACCOUNT! THERE WAS NO MONEY ON MY CARD AT ALL! LET ME TELL YOU THE BACK STORY FIRST!
I JOINED TEMU ALMOST 3 MONTHS AGO NOW. I WANTED TO TRY IT OUT! REVIEWS FOR MOST PRODUCTS WERE GREAT AND SHIPPING WAS FAST. THE ISSUE STARTED WITH REQUESTING REFUNDS! I FOUND AN ITEM UNDER MY ORDER HISTORY THAT I DIDN'T ORDER. I HAD NO CLUE WHAT THE ITEM WAS, OR WHERE IT CAME FROM. OF COURSE I THOUGHT MY MIND WAS PLAYING TRICKS ON ME. I USED MY CARD ON THE SITE BUT REMOVED IT AFTER AN ISSUE. THE REPS DIDN'T LET ME KNOW THAT THE CARD REFUND PROCESS WOULD TAKE DECADES. SO I FILED A DISPUTE WITH MY BANK AND WON THE DISPUTE. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN TEMU RELEASED MY MONEY.
I AM CONVINCED THAT TEMU DOES NOT SEND YOU REFUNDS BUT NOTIFICATIONS OF REFUNDS ONLY. I MADE THE MISTAKE ONE TIME SELECTING CREDITS AFTER THE ISSUE WITH MY CARD. THE CREDITS WAS A PROBLEM AS WELL. I HAD TO SPEND A CERTAIN LIMIT IN ORDER TO USE THE CREDITS, BUT EXPENSIVE SHIPPING FEES AS WELL.
NEVERTHELESS, PRICES GO UP AND DOWN. SO THE AMOUNT YOU PAY AT THE END OF EVERYTHING BE TOTALLY DIFFERENT IN SECONDS. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS STAY COPYING AND PASTING EVERYTHING. THEY SOUND JUST LIKE ROBOTS WHO HAVE EVERY LINE COPIED AND READY TO PASTE. THIS IRRITATES ME SO BAD! I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! THEY ALWAYS WANNA COPY AND PASTE THE 20 % COUPON OR $5 CREDIT.
THEY STAY LYING TO YOU ABOUT THE SHIPPING BECAUSE ALL THEY DO IS COPY, PASTE, AND LIE. EVERYTHING IN CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS COMPLETELY SCRIPTED. I ORDERED SOMETHING ON SEPTEMBER 9 AND ON OTHER DATES. IT'S BEEN IN CUSTOMS FOR DAYS NOW OR EVEN WEEKS. SHEIN SHIPMENT IS FASTER THAN THIS COMPANY.
SO I REMOVED MY CARD FROM TEMU WEBSITE NOT LONG AGO AND I ALWAYS HAVE USED MY PAYPAL BALANCE. HAD I NEVER REQUESTED A REFUND I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN THAT MY CARD MYSTERIOUSLY APPEARED AS A PAYMENT METHOD ON PAYPAL. I HAD SEVERAL DIFFERENT CARDS ON MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT, AND THIS PARTICULAR SAME CARD HAD ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY ON IT. I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE ON TEMU AND THE SAME RESPONSE AS USUAL. COPY AND PASTE THE SAME ANSWERS AND IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT I ASKED. EVERYTHING IS THE SAME ROUTINE OVER AND OVER.
I CHECKED MY CARD ACCOUNT AND DISCOVERED TWO PENDING CHARGES. MY BANK DIDN'T SEE NO OUTGOING CHARGES OR ANYTHING RELATED TO TEMU IN RECENT ACTIVITY. I LATER DISCOVERED THAT MY CARD AND PAYPAL HAD BEEN COMPROMISED. I FILED A DISPUTE AND WON BOTH TIMES. MY BANK GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK. I DIDN'T KNOW HOW I HAD 2 PENDING CHARGES AND THERE WAS NO MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT AT ALL. THE BALANCE WAS 0.00 IN THE ACCOUNT. I BECAME SUSPICIOUS ABOUT THE COMPLETED TRANSACTIONS ON TEMU.
IM NEVER USING TEMU EVER EVER EVER AGAIN! STICKING TO SHEIN! IF I COULD GIVE -1 BILLION STARS I WOULD”
“I really never like to write a bad review but when I see something that disturbs me I will write . Temu is a good merchant and I have had no issues with anything I have bought . But please do not fall for the promotion of 5 or 6 items free and send invites this is a scam . You never win the items ! And I get the strategy behind it but it's very unethical for customers that buy from Temu all the time . Just a thought for customers to think about . My advise is just buy from them but don't fall for the promotion of 5 or 6 or 10 items for free .”

I go over the order to make certain of what is in it, yet another of these arrives with an email saying it is a part of the order. There is no subscription for it to come often. I have no need for several of them. They are robbing me &2.93 at a time”

“at the beginning all went well, price wise, delivery time, quality of the products. Its been 3 month since TEMU changed their policy, e.g. In order for me to have "free shipping" , i must buy for at least $50+, whether I need or not I must reach this amount in order to be able to place it.
And on top of all, they are bombarding me with all kinds of "winning" devices and credits, which, mind you I have not claimed.
I would not recommend TEMU. They are good, as long as they hook you in.”
