The yeti drink holder I ordered on line 22 days ago had still not arrived. The product is awesome as I have one 5+ Stars. But the one that I ordered for my wife’s birthday(which had come & gone 2 weeks ago) still hasn’t arrived?? Frustrating, as I could have picked it up in store quicker …. Even being 100 km away.

Hi Jy, thanks for your review and I am sorry about this issue. Our couriers mostly deliver quite quickly. As of late though we have been experiencing delays in NSW due to COVID-19. The swag I ordered has failed to turn up, there is no tracking after it was originally lodged, the courier is uncontactable and Tentworld are unwilling to process a refund or send another as it is required urgently. Terrible customer service and after waiting a month I’m still without a swag, without $400, and no resolution! Never order from Tenworld again

HI Andrew/Raeleen, Thank you for your email and feedback. I have had a look for you and it does look like we have launched an investigation with the courier company to find out the location of your parcel and the extended delay with delivery. We are currently following this up frequently with TOLL Ipec so that we can provide a resolution for you. Any updates we receive from TOLL Ipec we will also advise you. Ordered an item that was in stock at the time. Order was supposed to be delivered within 2-5 business days. I followed up 2 weeks later: apparently the EOFY stocktake was causing problems, but it would be shipped within 2-5 business days. Followed up again 2 weeks later: the order processing system was note to blame, apparently causing delays. Issue would be resolved and order would ship within 2-5 business days. At exactly 2 months from the date of the order, went online again to track progress and was surprised to see it had been canceled. Sent an email and was told “sorry, it’s out of stock”. They sold it to someone else and didn’t bother to say anything to me. ‘Nuff said …

Hi Gus, thank you for your review and I do apologise for this. We did have our EOFY Stocktake and a new system implemented at the same time which had a few issues for us to resolve. This, unfortunately, led to dispatch issues meaning our customers had to wait longer than expected for items. I have also looked into your order and I apologise that we were unable to fulfil it, due to the item being discontinued. It appears that a system error led to the stock not being updated correctly and assigning an item that we did not have in stock to you. Our process is if this happens is to notify the customer and offer an exchange or refund. I am unsure why this did not occur and I will investigate further to prevent this from happening in the future. Again I would like to offer my apologies and if we can assist you in the future please let us know. Thank you - Tentworld Team.

Disappointing service from tent world. They sent out the wrong sleeping bag and then a real pain communicating with the service department and a massive inconvenience with no compensation offered.

On website it stated the chair I was purchasing was in stock and would be posted the next day, yet it was posted a week later. I don't like false advertising just to get a sale. I purchased through tentworld because I wanted the chair by a certain date and received it to late. The only way I knew it hadn't been posted was because I contacted them, they didn't even have the decency to let me know.

Very slow on delivery service, orded my product last month on the 18th and now it is the 3rd of September and I still don't have my stuff and no proper comucation with the me to let you no anything

Hi thanks for your feedback, I've taken a look into your order just now and I can see that your order does seem to be having difficulties getting delivered. It arrived into Sydney on the 26th, and they loaded it for delivery on the 26th but it appears they never delivered, and again loaded it on the 30th, but again never delivered it. Unfortunately, from what we've heard every carrier service in Sydney is overwhelmed at the minute - their networks aren't designed for the entire city to be locked at home, shopping online. They're also losing drivers due to isolation requirements. They are doing their best, please be patient as I'm sure it'll arrive very soon. I was given a voucher as a present but found I could only use it online where I was slapped with a $70 shipping fee. I can walk to the Tentworld from my house. After talking to several representatives I was told there was no way they could help.

Hi Jared, really sorry to read about your experience. What you've described is not how it should have been. Unfortunately, it sounds as though the team have told you something incorrect - I will be ensuring that they understand the process to do this. Simple answer though is that yes, you can redeem your online gift vouchers in-store - unfortunately, at this time - pending upgrades we have underway - it is a manual, and slow process but absolutely you can. We dont want you spending $70 with couriers anymore than you want to ! We have your email here, and will be getting in touch with you shortly to help you resolve this and pick up your goodies. The worst company I have ever dealt with in my adult life. I originally ordered and paid for my product week one 2021, when I chased them up about my order several weeks after expected delivery, i was told had they had nil-stock. Then subsequently I have had delay after delay for 8 months and still not received my order. The emails I receive to alert me of the delays are well after expected delivery dates given to me in previous emails. Phone calls to the company only result in being alerted to another shipping delay. Very poor customer experinece.

Hi Bruce, very sorry to read about your frustrations with us. Which are very understandable. Never before in our lives have we experienced such changes in ETAs from our suppliers due to all kinds of issues - due to delays in manufacture, problems booking space on ships, and then delays in the wharves - if there can be a delay from some aspect, it can happen lately unfortunately. I've looked up your order and I can see that you've bought one of the new Companion ProHeat Low Pressure Stoves. We've been very excited to receive these too. There are so few low pressure stoves available, so we think it's going to be a real winner. Great news is that they have finally arrived into Australia and Companion have started sending them to our stores. Not at all happy I rang the Adelaide store the day the ad went up for a spotlight because it said Instore only on the ad The website said it was available in store so I rang to check but they had no stock They said to contact the warehouse and ask so I sent messages to which they never responded I have bought from the store before and been happy with the service but it is disgraceful to advertise a product when you don’t have stock and can’t get it Not the store’s fault but the warehouse

Hi, thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. Sorry for the frustrations we've caused you. I am glad to learn that you've enjoyed our service at our Adelaide store previously. So I'm sorry this most recent experience has spoilt that a little. You've raised a few issues which I've been busy investigating. Issue 1 - no reply to email enquiry. I've been able to find your email here, and we replied back to you within 1 hour with a brief explanation that it is in-store clearance only. Would you mind please checking your inbox and letting me know if our reply went into spam? Please let me know on feedback@tentworld.com.au. Regarding how we manage our Clearance Specials, when we run to a low level of stock and online has sold out - we do go to In-Store Only Clearance - where prices are very heavily marked down. However, due to your feedback i've been able to find that for some reason, our Find In Store button is disabled on this screen. IN this case, there are only a handful of these spotlights left - mostly in our locked down Sydney store. We are always looking for better ways to manage this business need, and due to this feedback I am already actioning the installation of our find in store button. Over a month down the track still waiting for an ordered item!!! Was told via email it was a software dispatch issue, when I hadn't reviewed the order I rang and was told that the items were out of stock. For some reason nobody thought to advise me of that at the time of order. If I had not made contact I would still be wondering where they were. Further to this today I ring the Burleigh store to be told the item is in stock there!!!!! Disgraceful!!! Was a real advocate for your business not any more.

I should have read the reviews before ordering as it seems I am having the same experience as a lot of others. Order was placed 4 days ago and the item has not even been processed by their warehouse. I was told over the phone the item would arrive within 3-5 business days. Who knows when it will arrive, if at all, based on some of the other reviews.

Sunshine Coast Store Kawana, QLD 4575. Absolutely appalling service. I’m just stunned and disgusted. I myself have worked in costumer service for almost 20 years now! I was literally the only person in their small store with 3 staff present. I didn’t get greeted by any of them or even spoken to whilst I looked everywhere for what I needed. I travelled 30 mins across town, just to go there, as I’m all for supporting businesses in the community. The gentleman was on the phone when I entered and looked me up and down, which made me very uncomfortable. And the 2 woman, one old and over tanned just stared at me when I left. I will never go there again, and will not be recommending this business to anyone!

ordered a tent on the 04/07/2021 and still no tent, the last email was 14 days ago saying it would be in the next 10 days. I didn't want to cancel as this is what we have been looking for but Tentworld have seriously failed us. Remember nobody remembers a good review but everyone remembers the bad ones. Gerard

Several tents which have been very popular have been out of stock with us and also with our suppliers. This in turn relies on information from our suppliers as to when they are receiving further stock from the manufacturer. Due to obtaining information from logistics and manufacturer completion dates, estimated dates for our customers are difficult to obtain or can be inaccurate. We are sorry that this has taken this long and are actively seeking to obtain information to pass onto our customers so that an informed choice can be made.
