Ordered a tent on 22.06.21 - out of stock - 23.07.21 notified that tent had arrived was packed and sent on to me 03.08.21 rang Tentworld and told tent had arrived in Melbourne on 26 July and would chase up Toll and I would be informed of tracking progress. 10.08.21 still no tent or sign of same..

Hi Darryl, Thanks for reaching out and I do apologise for the delays. The last update that we have had from toll was that they are looking into this and that was on 08/08. They have also advised us that the current covid restrictions are slowing their processes and delaying response time. They wouldnt refund a return after a mix up, only offered store credit. I wanted to support an independent business but would be much easier and fairer to go to BCF

Outdoor Connection Brampton 3R Dome Tent purchased 25/08/2020 - this tent has been up and down the equivalent of 12 weeks school holidays in Queensland however within the equivalent of 6 weeks the material started to deteriorate and after the equivalent of 10 weeks just touching it caused it to tear. After the June school holidays we spent more money building a shelter over the tent as we didn't think the tent would hold up if we tried to dismantle it. Extremely disappointed in the quality of material considering a cost of $750. I am impressed with the design but I can buy better quality tents at much less expense. Will never buy from Tentworld again as their response to our complaint was "too much sun exposure". I don't know how you avoid that in Queensland as you can't always find a spot in the shade.

Unfortunately we are one of the unlucky ones. I look at the On-Time deliveries being at 99% and and allow a bit for the Covid dilemma we are in, and look at the average of 5 days delivery and guess we bummed out. After ordering a Fridge Freezer about 6 weeks ago, we placed another significant order on the 10.07.2021, finally got a tracking number over the past 48hrs and when we looked at the tracking, it went from Sydney back up to Qld and apparently is coming back down to Sydney. Who knows what condition it will be in by then. The actual Tentworld store we contacted were awesome and very helpful, but unfortunately Freight Companies have to be included in the same review. It has put a bit of a dampener on ordering online because of the freight company, as we have ordered other gear from Snowy's that arrived in 2 days.. They sell the same gear and similar price to Tentworld. It's now the 30.07.2021, 20 days later, and we are no closer to receiving our goods. Hopefully it will be there when I arrive home. Thank you to the Qld Branch of Tentworld that helped me with my Batwing Awning and everything else. Regards Rob

Darche Air-volution swag failed on first day of two-week trip, had to terminate. Bladder had air-leak at welded joint. Tentworld had zero interest in customer service - "Contact Darche Australia for warranty claims" - and this after one week. It's easy to see why people buy off eBay or other online suppliers, when bricks-and-mortar outlets offer the same level of (no) Customer Service service. Darche have promised to look into it "Shouldn't take too long", they said.

Same as everyone else. Kept changing order delivery date and even though I said I would wait they eventually cancelled my order after me waiting 1 month. Very unreliable. This is 2nd time with same result. The advertise stock they do not have.

Unfortunately you cant choose no stars Failed to dispatch my item for 2 and a half weeks and kept changing the day they told me it would be dispatched Then offered me a refund so i could buy from my local store so i took up that offer and cancelled my order Followed up my refund 4 times in the next week only to be told its been cancelled and you will be refunded within the next couple of hours yet somehow after all these calls and a week later they shipped the item I then fill out a form to get my refund processed and declare that I will return the goods when they turn up as i purchased from my store only to get another email days later saying they will refund me once they get the goods back. Pathetic customer service that clearly make up what ever they want to tell you to get you off the phone

For me, it is about 20 days post ordering products and nothing has been processed by tentworld (except the payment). Staff indicated they could see I had paid, had the product in stock, knew my address, but stated they could not send the order due to the invoicing system not sending my order to the warehouse component. Asked if I could talk with someone who could make a decision about processing the order and was advised that nobody in the company could authorise sending the product until "the system" processed the order or the error was fixed (no timeline on this). Have cancelled my order following a very disappointing experience.

Absolutely the worst service I have revived. The only blame on COVID and End of Financial Year is extremely disappointing. I communicated a number of times that my planned trip was approaching and if the items were being dispatched. Promised the early gave an atlas. It’s pretty simple I won’t shop at Tent World again. Other companies in the same industry that have allot better service. After cancelling my order I just need to now monitor if they actually do refund. If their service is anything to go off I can see this going on for a while.

Someone is telling porkies. Other reviews are saying delivery is excellent (posted 2 hours ago). I have been waiting 2 weeks, told we are prioritising deliveries in order of date of purchase, was told last Thursday or Friday, now the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Yet others are saying how quick the delivery is. Who is telling the truth?

This tent leaks! I bought this tent 2.5 years ago, out of warranty. 2nd time I use it, the tent leak at one side. 3rd time I camp with this tent, I encounted heavier rain. The whole tents leaks. Water leaks from all the joints. We have to use bucket to catch the drip! My family have to moved to cabin. Very disappointed, it's a disgrace!

We are more than happy to look into any potential warranty enquiry. Please also do ensure you read our articles about condensation, as sometimes tents can be mistakenly accused of leaking, when they are actually suffering condensation. Which you can avoid with our tips!

Placed order on 29th June for OzPig Big Pig and accessories, over $1000 and still no sign of it shipping, blaming a stocktake for the delay. Decided to cancel the entire order and will purchase from a more reliable supplier.

Brand new swag came with a rip, was offers a patch or a $20 dollar refund. It's actually consumer law that if the product can't be re sold in its current condition that the purchaser is entitled to a full refund or exchange, but this was ignored

Hi Raymond. Thanks for your review. As per Australian Consumer Law, if an issue is minor and able to be repaired you must accept a free repair as long as it can be completed in a fair and reasonable timeframe. The images that you have sent show very minor damage and it would be easily repaired. As I have mentioned in the same email though we are happy to lodge a warranty for this item and work with you to come to an alternate resolution. Thank you.

I ordered an Evakool fridge in February online where it had at the time that it was in stock and, as needed urgently, purchased it. As soon as bought I then receive an email that it wasn’t in stock & would take over a month to arrive. Fast forward to around 5 emails that kept pushing the date out, it finally arrives towards the end of June! Not happy as though I know Covid slowed supplies & sales increased, don’t put “in stock” when it’s obviously not even in the country!

Courier, Postal Service hopeless. Tracking info is fine if you want to watch your item sit in one place for a week. The idea of sending a item to the north to a "facility" when it should go south to the purchaser is obviously flawed. I get product out of the USA in 6 days. Yet Tentworld cant deliver locally in less time. Product still not delivered so cant comment on its condition.

SMASHED! my night vision goggles i waited for months to be available - shipped arrived in a thin padded bag and smashed around the rims. not impressed with quality of goggles or packaging. otherwise all of my other orders have been good. please keep in mind that for those of us who live out in rural and remote areas have very long distances for goods to travel

Over the years I have purchased countless items from various online retailers and have NEVER had an experience bad enough to prompt me to provide negative feedback. Sadly this is not the case with Tentworld. I'm actually taken aback particularly given that I'd always thought Tentworld was a reputable retailer. Over the past month or so I have been gathering new hiking gear from a number of retailers and made the decision to purchase my tent among other things with Tentworld. The tent was indicated to be on backorder online which was fine as I knew it was going to take a while for me to gather the rest of my gear. It was estimated to be dispatched within a few days so no big deal. The tent was initially delayed once for another week or so. And then a second time advising estimated dispatch date was now not until October... months away! Meanwhile the other part of my order which was allegedly dispatched at the start of the month has now been with the courier for coming up to a month! I was not contacted by the courier or Tentworld to advise the order was lost or delayed - I had to open an investigation myself with the courier and with Tentworld. I am STILL none the wiser as to the whereabouts of my parcel / if it is lost / still coming / compensation being offered. In the meantime i've been forced to purchase the lost tentworld items from other retailers so will have to arrange returning products in store if / when they ever come. It's worth noting that I've had 5-6 deliveries from a number of other retailers including Anaconda, Snowies, Wild Earth and more which have all arrived on time without issue. Needless to say this has not been an experience that will be encouraging me to come back to Tentworld any time soon...
