“The shop has good range. The bins outside the shop however always smell very bad which does not set a good first impression, particularly before going to buy food.”

“I have tried several items from Tesco from the hot deli counter, the cold meat section and ready meals that are labelled hot and spicy but when tasting them they are anything but hot and spicy. I don't know who approves the taste of these products but they obviously don't like hot and spicy food! If something is labelled Hot & Spicy it should be spicy or at least give some heat or warmth. People who can't handle the heat should not buy hot and spicy products!”

“I purchased a bed through Tesco Direct from one of their partners, Happy Beds. The wooden frame split the first night! Replacement part was sent but after a week the same part split completely in the night. I was offered a full refund....when the bed was collected in up to 7 days. Both Happy Beds and Tesco Direct thought it was acceptable for me to be without a bed for this time. The bed has been collected and now I have to wait 3-5 days for my account to be credited. Tesco Partner Guarantee appears to be an opt out. Only gave 1 star because I couldn't give any less.”

“The conveyor belts used on the checkout tills are extremely flilthy, including the checkout stands for self serve. At about 7:50 pm today, I asked a cashier called Claire at the Brooklands branch today checkout to clean the dirty conveyor belt before I could proceed to place my food onto it. Claire did not do anything about it whatsoever, one of the members of staff come along and said it would take him 5 minutes to go and fetch the necessary cleaning products-he was very reluctant. He said they do not have the cleaning products at hand on each checkout till because of allergies. I would like to see each and every till cleaned or checked for cleaniless. I would even go as far as making sure that all members of staff handling food-on all till and in the store wash their hands regularly, or wear disposiable rubber gloves-which they should change regularly. I had a memebr of staff on the till, once moisten his fingers with his saliva to open a carrier bad! He even sneeazed into his hands and carried on serving, more so he was coughing and rubbed his runny sose with his hands and still carried on serving me. Is Tesco training its staff on food hygiene standards. I would be very glad to learn that Tesco is addressing this seriously before we have an out break of some sort!!!!”

“Appalling collection service Ordered goods for collection at local Express store. Had to wait 30 minutes for service. Then they could not find it in store. Told to come back later. On returning they had not found and eventually store manager found it, then blamed staff. The shop was chaotic, with no organisation. Product returned poor quality”

“Trying to charge 100% increase on sunflower seed,two weeks ago I purchased 700gr for £1:75 this week the price has shot up 100% to £3:00 for 700gr. Tesco say it do to increase cost from the supplies”
