Everything was great with exception of the selling point for the 2 power recliners purchased. The salesperson stated the battery would last for 300 uses or 3-4 weeks. The batteries for both chairs at full charge lasts one day each. We have to keep them plugged in to operate.

I was not really pleased with the lift chair. My husband said it wasn't the chair he sat in at the store. It is smaller than my old one and my husband will not sit in it. He says it is too small. Also, I thought it rocked.

The sales staff was very nice and efficient. The only problem I had was the delivery. I work so it's hard to be free for 3 hours to wait on a delivery. I had my mother go to my house to let them in to bring the furniture. She arrived at 11:15. She said that the delivery people were very rude to her because they had been waiting for only 5 minutes. They told her she is lucky she got there because they were fixing to leave, and they told us the time to be there and we should have been there. She said they were very unprofessional and very short and rude with her. I understand they have a time limit and other jobs to attend to, but I had an emergency at work so I couldn't be there. All I am saying is life happens and sometimes things come up that are out of our control, but being rude to customers will not get you future business. Thank you for your time, and I am very please with the sectional I purchased.

We had to replace our furniture after a house fire & were so pleased to find The Great American Home Store! We love our family room set & our bedroom set. Great quality & reasonable prices. Our salesman Joe really listened to what we wanted & was very helpful in helping us make our selection.

We purchased a sofa from the outlet store on Summer Ave. Earnestine was very helpful and the selection and price were just what we were looking for. It is worth your time to check them out.

I noted with management today a complaint I have with the store. I was notified of an delivery appointment 12 to 4. Problem delivery nan showed Dan hour prior to hthay. We were having a new loveseat brought in. $1100.00. I was headed hone before time to deliver. I was going to move the existing couch , but since they were esrly wife asked they move it into the next room. Was told ok but to write the delivery nan a check to him fir $30.00 personal. Thus in my opinion very bogus. Underhanded. I have a complete new house to furnish. Now I have questions.

We went to the Great American Home Store at Summer Avenue and 240, we were immediately greeted by Jeannie, who helped us find what we’re looking for and was extremely courteous and helpful throughout our visit. Rachel was our checkout person - she was helpful and very personable as well. They were able to get our couch set ordered and ready for pick up by 10 AM the next morning, we were shopping just before the store closed that evening, so I was quite pleased that it was going to be ready that quickly.. The men at the warehouse were helpful as well, I would recommend Great American Home Store to anyone looking for furniture!

Very poor communication about shipment arrivals and internal miscommunications to me as the customer. Lack of concern for customer retention. I won’t ever shop there again.

If I could,I would rate my experience a 10 star rating. Ebonie Finnie, our salesperson,was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions and concerns we had about the furniture. She told us when it would be delivered and called to make sure a delivery date had been made. Brandon and his helper, Marcus delivered the furniture on time. Brandon came in the house first to see where the sofa and love seat would look best along with the end table and coffee table. Then they brought it in the house. I am so pleased with everything. Thanks so much.

We came in with my elderly mother to purchase a lift chair. My mother was treated so patiently and kindly by both the saleswoman, Rachel, and the store manager. Both of them bent over backward to help her find just the right chair for her!

Very quick and easy process, the associate in the store was nice and kind, they only thing i disliked was she never let me look around the store on my own, she was on me from the time i walked in the store. my purchase arrived timely the team put the bed together so quickly they was in and fast,

After receiving a positive friend referral, we have been in multiple times and have purchased our dining room set, some vases and artwork. We love all of it and referred our in-laws and they bought an entire set of new furniture for multiple rooms for their new house. When I enter a store, I like to explore on my own without being disturbed or getting the feeling of being hounded by salespeople. Of the 3 times that I have entered the store, 2 times were great and on the 3rd time, I was immediately hounded on within steps of entering the front door. Though I appreciate someone looking to serve me, I felt like he, the salesperson, was the next 'up' and I immediately got the vibe that he was coming in for a sale, not to take care of my needs. Though mildly put off by this initial impression, we clearly stated our intentions and he backed off. Overall, love the selection and will probably be back for more.
