“Native New Mexican here--now living elsewhere. I bought frozen hot roasted green chile and am comparing to the one brand of frozen NM green chile I can find in my local grocery store. And it's not even close. The Hatch Chile Store roasted green is superior in every way. Taste, freshness, heat are far better. The grocery store stuff, annoyingly, often has stems and skin in it. Hatch Chile Store chile is very clean--ready to use right out of the bag. It's the right color and texture, and tastes like home. Sure, it costs a little more to buy it this way, but it's worth it. I'll be back.”

“The Hatch chiles arrived as promised and were in great shape. The aroma given off in my kitchen by the fresh chilies was amazing. Just finished roasting and packaging them for the freezer. This was my second order in three weeks. Keep up the good work.”

“Ordered 25 lb of fresh green chile and what a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t sure what to expect but when I opened the box and saw absolutely fresh green chile fresher than what you find in the grocery store I knew it was well worth the money! We roasted it that evening and of course sampled some wrapped in warm tortillas with some garlic salt and another pleasant surprise, wonderful flavor beyond what I find in a jar here in Minnesota.”

“I had an excellent experience with The Hatch Chile Store! The green chile I ordered arrived on time, perfectly roasted, peeled, vacuum-sealed, and still frozen, just as promised. Ordering online was simple and straightforward, and the price was very reasonable. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and grateful for the quality and service. Highly recommend!”

“Quality is great and conveniently ready to go. The only reason for 4 stars is because, as a cowgirl from New Mexico, I'd like some Xtra Hot chili's. But, these are way hot enough for the average wanna-be. Made the best fresh charred white corn and green chili salsa - they loved it!”

“The chili is perfect! It arrived frozen and went straight into my freezer. I ordered five pounds, and I'm almost through two pounds in less than a month! I guess I should have ordered 10 pounds!”

“The stores in central Arkansas were out or never got any Hatch peppers this year so I looked online and found The HCS - and I just got my first 4 lb order. Wow - they are amazing looking - and smelling -- much plumper and healthier looking than anything I have ever found in a grocery store! Now I'm thinking - should I get some red ones or another 4 lbs? Looking forward to getting busy with what I've got! Thank you very much!”

“Ordered red chile tamales and green chili rellenos. Both products had lots of frost built up inside the packaging, making us wonder how old the food actually was...we were disappointed!”

“Everything was great. I purchased frozen, roasted and peeled "hot" green chiles. They are meaty and flavorful. Not quite as hot as I would like but that could change from bag to bag so we'll see. This is definitely a time savor to order roasted, peeled and bagged.”

“I love ordering Hatch Chili because, first; it takes me home. I currently live in Alabama. Second; I remember the wonderful smell from my youth. This chili is like no other. I've always gotten my orders from Hatch while the chili's are still green. I recently ordered dried for my winter dishes. A+”

“My original order arrived late and was ruined, I notified you right away and a replacement order was shipped and arrived yesterday in wonderful shape. “I ordered the Big Jim variety. The order sent was mild. I was so looking forward to making the dishes I'm accustomed to with that level of hotness. Honestly i dont know if or how to refer someone. I would feel horrible if they were not satisfied with the money they spent. It would be good business to at least refund or send me some hot green chilies to assure my future business.
