“I finally received the ristra today (2/3/2026). It was slightly damaged, probably from excessive handling. About a quart ziploc bag of peppers were broken off the item and loose in the shipping box.”

“While they have products that are very good I do not care for their customer service. I wanted to place an order where I would get 5% off. Unfortunately my products were in two different warehouses. Because of this my one spice that was $9.99 would have had a shipping charge of $12.99. The remaining part of my order had a $10.99 shipping charge. I had a hard time justifying $12.99 for a 9.99 product. When I contacted customer service they said their shipping charges were fair”

“I recently ordered the mild green chili. I believe next time I will order the medium as the mild are a bit bland, lacking the green chili flavor we love. 3 Stars I also ordered the green chili and cheese tamales but was not too impressed with these. Hardly any green chili and cheese filling, mostly masa. I sent a message to the Hatch Green Chili Store about this but never heard back. Perhaps I just got a batch of whimpy tamales?? Kind of pricey at 75.00 for 12 small tamales. 1 star Just stick with the Green Chili and purchase in bulk, you can't go wrong.”

“Loved the chile, shipping was great. However, I was on a subscription plan, and somehow, my subscription was "canceled". (not by me) When I called to inquire, the person was the definition of unhelpful. Something about a change in the system on their end. She told me I just needed to re-subscribe, but when I went to do so, subscriptions had gone up significantly. Seemed to me not a coincidence my subscription was canceled at that point. If I had a subscription business, and someone called to ask why they had stopped receiving their subscription, completely unaware as to why.... I would bend over backward to get them signed back up...with an absolute minimum hassle for them, or change in cost, as I would be looking to retain said customer. I didn't feel valued as a customer at all.”

“Very hard to write a review, we have not received our order after placing it over two weeks ago. I try the tracking number provided, and the response is a label has been generated. Two days ago the tracking number identified the shipment will be here December 15th”

“We received our order of green tamales and green chili relleno. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in the relleno. The green chili was very tough and minimal amount of cheese. Thankfully you customer service lady helped me and we are getting a replacement of red chili tamales. Thank you”

“My irder was placed in November for a Christmas delivery. I received an e-mail stating my order would be held until 12/17 and would take 5 to 7 days to be delivered. It was received and beauriful but I didn't understand the holding of the order. It was obviously a Christmas decoration.”
