I ordered the Hatch green chili stew on 3/18 and it was confirmed. I have not heard anything since then.

I'm sorry you haven't received your order. Our Hatch Green Chile Stew is currently on preorder and is expected to ship in mid-April. There is a notice about this during checkout. As of writing this, I haven’t received my products. Website says order was delivered. UPS says shipment was cancelled. Paid for shippment assurance. Funny thing is that I get a prompt to review the products and I haven’t received them. So far not impressed.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We assure you that we offer the best price possible on our New Mexican foods. From the packaging to the carrier fees, shipping perishable items on dry ice is expensive. We use distribution centers nationwide to offer free shipping on all perishable products. We also do all the roasting, peeling, and packaging of your authentic Hatch Green Chile and the other dishes we make with them. We hope this helps you understand that our price is not unnecessarily inflated and that it is necessary for a small business like ours to be able to offer high-quality, perishable products.

I realized that after two attempts to change my shipping address, that it had NOT changed after order confirmation. I wrote three emails, called twice on the weekend. Yes they were closed. I called twice, once before 8:00am, when they open and once at 8:05am. I left messages. At 7:49 am the email was sent to verify a shipping label was created. At 8:08am an email was sent saying they could do nothing but charge me $50 more to change the shipping address. I expressed my disappointment in their business practices and customer service. I got no response, no accountability NOTHING. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. Update. They responded and took the $50 charge off. Thank you I am hoping for a great product.

Since our trip to NM in October we have been obsessed with Hatch red chili. We were very excited to get our two orders for the red chili pork tamales for Christmas eve. My husband was born and raised in NM. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We found the tamales to be dry, not enough filling and no more red chili flavor than any other tamale we have had in Oregon.

Broad selection of unique Hatch Chile-based products. The freeze-dried salsa is amazing as are the Red Chile Pecans. Looking forward to steaming up some of the Cheese- Green Hatch Chile tamales. Unfortunately the Chile Rellenos just don't cook up well in my air fryer: very bready dough that never crispens and waaaaaaay too many seeds inside. Just inedible. That $70 would've been better spent on more tamales, maybe the delicious-sounding Pork ones.

Hi Shari, Sorry to hear that you did not like the rellenos. Do you still have some? If so, I recommend giving them at least 15 minutes outside of the freezer to defrost, then pan-frying them or baking them in the oven. This might help to cook them more thoroughly. I got the Chile Rellenos because I have enjoyed them in the past. It seems that they changed the recipe as the dough coating was much heavier and doughy than it was previously. I didn't enjoy them that much.

I very much enjoy your products, but it seems to me that when someone is ordering gifts from your company online to be given to a third party, your website should have some place for the customer to fill out notifying who the gift is coming from so that the third party receiver of the gift knows who it is from.

As a family we would make tamales every holiday season. Missing that tradition I order tamales from the Hatch Chile Store. Sad to say I was a little disappointed. The masa stuck to the husks in the chicken green chile tamales & the masa was extremely crumbly and dry, not moist at all in both the green chicken chile and red chile pork tamales. However the masa did not stick to the husks in the red chile pork. The pork tamales also has a lot more flavor than the chicken tamales.

The items were out of dry ice, and already thawing. We had barely damp, cool, packing insulation around the product. No dry ice visible.

Hi Barbara, Thanks for reaching out! I'm so sorry about the way your order arrived. Typically orders for frozen products arrive cold with a small amount of dry ice left in the box. As long as they are still cold to the touch, then they are safe to refreeze and consume. We never recommend our customers consume a product if it arrives warm and spoiled. Second year and probably the last Last year ordered hot it was mild at the worst and this year hot was a little better but not much. Order received on time but paced with ice that had melted but chili appears to be ok.

Store sent stuff quickly, so that's good. The Chiles Rellenos were not great. The peppers were so fibrous they could barely be cut. Too much coating and too little cheese.

The store offers great NM type products but the scoville range is way off. Medium chilies are very mild. There needs to be a way to determine how spicy a chili is prior to selling it so orders are precise.

Most of them were very good ; had to throw away about 8 peppers that were starting to rot. Never buy again.
