“Every Christmas my sister would make us tamales. My favorite was her chili and cheese. I live on an island so I have to order them now. I got my order and was excited to try them. I felt there was too much masa and no cheese. I have to say I was disappointed.”

“Excelent chiles, obviously, and so glad they offer shipping for those of us in New England where people don't know what chiles are. However, especially for the cost, WAY more chiles could be packed into a shipment! We ordered the already fired/peeled but not chopped and had to use half just to make one batch of sauce that won't last very long! Nice big box, not a lot of product inside, delicious though it is! :/ Also, there is a rather disturbing ratio of pistachios that are unopened (also ordered a bag of green chile pistachios). I expect not all of them to be already cracked open enough to easily shell but handfuls of barely-to-not-opened-ones seem a bit excessive! Still - delicious product and thank you for making them available to those of us far away.”

“Had my order arrived timely it would have been 5 stars. UPS took 5 days to deliver an overnight package, mainly because it sat over a weekend. The chiles were acceptable but would have been much better if they were 2 days fresher. You should probably ship earlier in the week if you use UPS since they are notoriously unreliable. At least that way the chances of a shipment sitting over a weekend (when they do not deliver) would be much less.”

“Past years have been excellent. This year was a disappointment. Chiles were long and thin, and thin walled. I don’t know if they were picked too early. They also didn’t roast easily.”

“First time ordering from your company. Took 3 weeks for delivery. I was expecting all chilis to be fresh, actually it was a 50/50 split of fresh vs what appeared to be weeks old chilis. Mixed batch was green and red chilis. All in all, I unfortunately expected higher quality.”

“We have been ordering fresh chili peppers from Hatch for many years. Every shippment has been great until the one received this Year July 2026. Several of the peppers were rotten and a smelly pepper juice at the bottom of the box. I wrote to your customer serviceand was advised they were unable to provide any compentation to this problem. We are very didappointed and will not be reordering any time in the future. Your company has lost our confidence as repreputable company.”
