“I ordered hot green chili and the heat is more medium. The delivery was delayed by a day. Last year I ordered medium and it was mild. I’m guessing next year it will be xtra hot heat!”

“Ordering was simple & easy; delivery came as expected & as stated; have only used 2 of the products I ordered, but so far soo goooooddd! Am anxious to try the salsas & sauces I ordered & will provide a review once we do. I am very pleased with the spices I ordered. Good experience & I have shared the store & information with friends & family.”

“I became familiar with Hatch when I lived in southwest CO. Now, I'm in MA. The delivery was fast, the products were still frozen, and delivered with care. I ordered my usual roasted chopped green chili's and added Green Chili Chicken Tamales. I gave 4 stars because the tamales didn't have enough or consistent amount of chicken in them. It was still delicious though! I'd still order it again in the future!”

“I am well pleased with the service and how you kept me informed on the shipment and delivery of my chiles. They arrived fresh and in perfect condition. My disappointment was they were a little on the mild side, at least the one's we have prepared so far. I know chiles can vary in taste, so I understand.”

“I'd like to thank you for offering this product/procedure to all. Here are my inputs: 1) The green chili pods (both boxes) were VERY fresh! 2) The 25# hot box...they were not hot at all. Very Disappointed. I do understand that it's not about the heat, but these didn't even have a 'bite'. When we eat at Pepper Pot, they are so hot I can't taste anything. 3) We usually go to the Hatch Festival (will be there next Friday) and get the 40 pound sacks. Last year they were $45 ea., up $10 from the year before. You know where I'm going with this? But we wanted to try your service anyway and again I thank you for providing it.”

“i LIKED THE OVERNIGHT DELIVERY THE HATCH CHILI STORE PROVIDED FOR THE CHILI I ORDERED. iT IS NOT THE HATCH CHILI STORES FAULT FOR THE DELAY BY UPS IN DELIVERING THE CHILI ONCE THE CHILI REACHED THE UPS HOME FACILITY. THE CHILI ARRIVED AT THE HOME FACILITY AROUND 10:00 AM AND WAS DELIVERED TO MY RESIDENCE UNTIL AFTER 5:00 PM. WITH THE CHILI RIDING IN BACK OF A UPS TRUCK THAT LONG WITH OUTSIDE TEMPERATURES 90+ DEGREES, AND INTERNAL TRUCK TEMPERATURES AT ???, IT WAS FORTUNATE THAT THE CHILI DID NOT SPOIL. DESPITE THE HEAT, THE CHILI ARRIVED FIRM AND SMELLED REALLY GOOD WITH NO SPOILAGE. WHICH WAS GREAT. I'M PLANNING ON ORDERING HATCH GREEN CHILI AGAIN NEXT YEAR AS IT IS GREAT TO THE TASTE. HOPEFULLY BY THAN UPS WILL HAVE A BETTER PLAN ON DELIVERING PERISHABLES IN A TIMELY MANNER.”

“We pre-ordered chilis and they arrived fresh and in good condition. We roasted them right away, using instructions found on their website, and it was easy and fun. We froze the roasted chilis to use all year. The chilis are delicious. It was a little pricey to have them delivered, so we're considering making a trip down to the Hatch Valley next year at harvest time to buy a lot more and bring them back to Idaho in a couple of large coolers. We'll make a vacation trip out of it.”

“My annual order of Hatch green chiles arrived a week ago. Two days later, I roasted and peeled them. As usual, a few were kept whole but most were chopped and made into a cooked salsa. I portion this into 21 cup jars and freeze it for use during the year. This year's "mild" crop is milder than last years with just a bit of heat. As usual, The Hatch Chile Store's communication and service is stellar. The 4 star review is because I found their prepared, jarred salsas almost too salty to eat.”

“With the exception of an unmarked box of chilies everything received was fresh and good. I ordered mild but the one unmarked one was acknowledged as probably not being mild.”

“I have enjoyed buying Chile from them, but this year was a bit dissapointing. Shipping is slow, communication is not as good as it used to be. It would help if they shipped their Chile in a burlap bag sprinkled with a little water and then put in a box. It arrives a lot fresher than when they just throw it in a box. I'll still give them another try though, the chile is good.”
