“The red unroasted chile was absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately when I went to order more they were out. The chopped/frozed green chile had a strange plastic taste to it and I am not sure if all the frozen packages that I bought will be like this. The first two that we opened had the strange taste an we had to discard them.”

“Love the peppers, this batch had 7 peppers that split open and were much smaller than the first shipment. Which was expected for a late season delivery”

“Ordering the chilies was easy and they arrived quickly but the site is annoying in that the default adds delivery protection and then the amount of emails is crazy! Have tried to unsubscribe and yet I still get daily emails.”

“The chile itself was excellent. Truly wonderful. But, when I opened the box and started to lift the chile bags out, I got dry ice on my hands because I did not initially see that the dry ice bag had split open across the middle of the bag during shipment and so the dry ice that hadn't melted already during transport - which was crumbled and therefore not immediately visible - was all over the box. I would strongly suggest double bagging the dry ice before shipment.”

“Loved the first batch of Hatch chiles I receivd. Large, vibrant and beautiful. The second shipment I received a few weeks ago was subpar. Overall the chiles were small with a very few being medium sized, about 20% were no good due ot excessive wrinkling and more than a few already going to a red overripe color. I would recommend the advance ordering and first delivery but would not recommend the second late in the season purchase.”

“The order was received quickly and in fine condition. The chilis were fresh and most of them were a good size with meaty flesh. Some, not many, were too small for roasting so we put those aside while we roasted the others on the grille. The Sandia variety is a fairly hot variety and they did not disappoint. We have shared some with friends and neighbors and they were impressed. Today we made green chile stew with a boneless pork butt roast. Can't wait for supper.”

“I grew up in Showlow, Arizona . now I live in Humboldt County California. California chilies are nothing like hatch chilies and I’m happy you guys are able to send them”

“Quality is great and conveniently ready to go. The only reason for 4 stars is because, as a cowgirl from New Mexico, I'd like some Xtra Hot chili's. But, these are way hot enough for the average wanna-be. Made the best fresh charred white corn and green chili salsa - they loved it!”

“I ordered the Big Jim variety. The order sent was mild. I was so looking forward to making the dishes I'm accustomed to with that level of hotness. Honestly i dont know if or how to refer someone. I would feel horrible if they were not satisfied with the money they spent. It would be good business to at least refund or send me some hot green chilies to assure my future business. Thank you, Debi Loeffler”
