I ordered 25lbs red. I got 7lbs red, 5lbs in between red and green, the rest all green.

The taste and customer service is great with you guys. However,I was expecting more red. There was a lot of Chile that had not turned red yet.

Thought it was interesting that when we received the product, it had no ice packs to keep cooled, considering the package said keep frozen....?? Thought the Tamales, were okay, seemed to be somewhat dry. Would have to say, would not buy again, for the price of $60.00 for a dozen...

Hi Katherina, We are sorry about the situation. Without photos, we cannot replace a box of chile. It is our company policy to document any spoiled chile before sending a free reshipment. This is simply the best way for us to standardize all fresh order reshipments. Since you do not have any photos of the chile, would you be willing to pay for only the shipping cost if we sent you another box? We have sent you a personal email with this offer as well. Received Chile in two days which was great, but some Chile was very small two to four inches in length and some of the Chile was not as meaty as a medium should be, with a lot of broken pieces, only got 46 bags of Chile with 8 Chiles to a bag. In years past Chile has been great.

The chilies were small, the xhot was more like mild to medium. I found bigger and hotter chilies at a local food store for about 1/4 of the price.

Last year there were a few issues and this year even more. The chiles that arrived were not in very good shape and when I discussed with the company, I did not pay for express shipping even though it was still $22 so I was left with dehydrated chile, wrinkled chile and some chile that had oozed and leaked all over the box. I think at this point, 3rd time ordering was not a charm but the worst of the 3. Pre-ordered only to be told no more 5lb boxes but 4lb, cost of shipping, then the delay due to the issues (understandably) and then the arrival and after all was said and done, and roasted and peeled, I have less than 4lbs of chile. Time to reconsider the options.

Unfortunately my order in 2023 was not as good as in years past due to record heat. The Chiles were very small and thin with very few having enough meat to make Chile rellenos. I’ll be back next year and hope the heat isn’t as bad so you all have a better crop.

Disappointed in this years crop, size wise I couldn’t tell the difference in the medium and the hot. In the past the medium were mostly larger and thicker. I use the medium for chili rellenos but not this year. Chargers are the best but don’t se them on your list

Chili was already spoiling the day I received them! wasn’t as fresh as last year Had to throw out quite a bit not pleased, but hopefully the NASTE is great, Still have to roast them.

My order for both frozen and fresh chile was made on June 21, the money was deducted from my account on June 22. I didn't hear anything from them until I called about a month later. They said they would check on it. I finally received the frozen portion on Aug 10 the on Aug 18 I received the fresh portion. The chilies have great flavor but there was moderate spoilage. The overall experience was not what I had experienced on previous order.

I honestly wish I wasn't writing this. I had high hopes for my medium green chile. Alas, I could feed it to my dog - that's how much heat it doesn't have. Unfortunately, my order had melted before it arrived. I have refrozen it. I hope it works.

Not what I expected. We're not wroughten, just thin skinned. If roasted, makes it harder to peel , if at all. Thank you for your response and concern, however no need to replace. Thanks again.

I ordered 5 pounds of "Hot" roasted and chopped green chile. When it arrived, it was nearly thawed so I kept one bag out and put the other 4 bags in the freezer immediately. When I tasted my chile, I discovered that it was not hot at all and lacked the roasted flavor that I was looking forward to. Instead, my chile tasted like something akin to a bell pepper. I contacted a representative and was asked for the batch number from the white box that my chile arrived in. Due to the fact that my chile had arrived mostly thawed, the box was soaking wet and I had thrown it out already. Since I didn't have the batch number, we were unable to track the batch of chile that I had received. In the end, the representative gave me a 15% discount code to be used on my next order. Although I am not happy with this resolution of my issue, I will most likely place another order to give them another chance to ship me some "good chile".

The staff was very polite and the order was easy. The medium peppers shipped when they said they would but I live in Alaska and it took UPS a week to get them here and about 20% of medium peppers were bad. I have never had that issue before. The hot peppers that shipped later arrived fast and were fine.
