I ordered HOT green chile and it's not hot I thought the Hatch Chile Store should know what size chile is mild, hot, or extra hot???? i hope you can understand that I speak the truth and it's what I got. A different version of bell pepper!! sorry that it is what it is thank you again Alonzo Lopez

We are NM fam now living in CA. We crave our NM chili! My order of "HOT" green chili came, and all arrived in excellent shape but so far no heat. This is the only time this has happened so I'm not judging to harshly, but I am wondering what I paid for, because I could have bought CA Anaheim chilies and saved a ton of $$!

Order arrived in good shape, mostly still frozen. We peeled and chopped and piled chili on everything for the next three or four days. We moved here from NM and needed a good chili fix. This chili, even though the package says hot, is not hot, not warm, just green. It has the good green flavor but there is virtually no heat. I've purchased many buschels every fall out of Hatch over the last 30+ years and I know when I get hot and when I don't. My recommendation is based on the product - as advertised - or - not as advertised.

I know it is beyond your control. UPS experienced delivery issues deliverying the chiles almost 5 days later instead of the Express Delivery that I paid. The chiles were smelley, but still good.

I was under the assumption that they would be shipped overnight or 2 day shipping. Mine were not and when they arrived there were several in each box that were spoiled. Not the freshest that I had expected for $42 shipping charge.

Ordered "Big JIm" fresh green chile from your store and found it to be extremely mild and without taste, that is, not what I am used to. Therefore, I went to my local H-E-B and bought the same and it had flavor plus just the right amount of heat.

Received our 25 lb box of green Chile about a week and a half after ordering. Waited a couple days to grill them all on the weekend, by which time about 25% were already bad and leaking. Another 10-15% were already ripe and red. Relative to buying in the store frozen, it worked out to about $10 per bag, which would normally run $6-7 in the frozen section.

I ordered HOT chili and what I have tasted so far is far from HOT. However, maybe when I open the next pound (I ordered 10 lbs) it might be a different story. I also found that our Krogers here in WV is now selling Hatch green chili which pleases me.

I have placed my order twice one did not show Overnight delivery arrive four days late I do have to say customer service is Helpful very nice people to work with we’ll see if my order finally goes Through

When I placed my order I said that we would be going on vacation but the hot hatch chile shipment was delayed. when I got notification of when the chile would be shipped I sent an email that we would be on vaction and to delay my shipment & provided a thursday date to ship. My order was shipped anyway & sitting at my door step. two days later I found someone to pick it up. It was hot weather in Portland, Or at that time. the chile is still useable but not as fresh.

My order had to be placed 3 times. The first sas the initial order, which never came, because UPS said it had been ruined and destroyed; and Hatch chile was notified. I called and UPS had not notified Hatch Chile, but they sent the order to me again. The second order came completely thawed, and we were afraid to refreeze it, and we couldn't possibly eat it all right away. The third time we ordered the products with 1 day air delivery, $25+ dollars more on top of the $147 already paid. That order came today. The ice was melted, but the products were still frozen... no problem. The customer service guy was very polite through it all.

There was confusion with my order being shipped. I was concerned due to the temps rising and the tamales being perishable. I received them with no ice left in the packs and the tamales room temperature. Not good. So if I order again I will wait until fall temps.

Ordered online.. shipping was fast. The rellenos were sub-par. Stringy , not flavorful at all. I feel like I wasted my money on those. The chimichangas were good.

As of writing this, I haven’t received my products. Website says order was delivered. UPS says shipment was cancelled. Paid for shippment assurance. Funny thing is that I get a prompt to review the products and I haven’t received them. So far not impressed.

From the packaging to the carrier fees, shipping perishable items on dry ice is expensive. We use distribution centers nationwide to offer free shipping on all perishable products. We also do all the roasting, peeling, and packaging of your authentic Hatch Green Chile and the other dishes we make with them. I realized that after two attempts to change my shipping address, that it had NOT changed after order confirmation. I wrote three emails, called twice on the weekend. Yes they were closed. I called twice, once before 8:00am, when they open and once at 8:05am. I left messages. At 7:49 am the email was sent to verify a shipping label was created. At 8:08am an email was sent saying they could do nothing but charge me $50 more to change the shipping address. I expressed my disappointment in their business practices and customer service. I got no response, no accountability NOTHING. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. Update. They responded and took the $50 charge off. Thank you I am hoping for a great product.

Since our trip to NM in October we have been obsessed with Hatch red chili. We were very excited to get our two orders for the red chili pork tamales for Christmas eve. My husband was born and raised in NM. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We found the tamales to be dry, not enough filling and no more red chili flavor than any other tamale we have had in Oregon.
