“I ordered hot green chile about ten months ago. Not only was the chile not hot but it was also fairly tasteless. In January, the customer service representative proposed a solution to make things right that I could use during the 2026 chile season. Well, I just spoke to another representative today about what was previously offered to me. Now I've been told that "too much time has passed." What kind of company offers a solution in an email and then reneges? I might order five more pounds from this company but I might also just look elsewhere.”

“Due to issues early in the season, our local (Oregon) grocer's hatch chile event was canceled this year. Once I heard that, I looked around and found the Hatch Chile Store. I ordered 5 lbs and they arrived promptly and in fantastic condition! I just wished I'd been smart enough to order 10 lbs, as it would have been less expensive than 2 5lb orders! It was almost a week before my order shipped (I ordered late in the week), but once shipped, it arrived in a day.”

“I’ve been buying for this company for the past 6, moving forward, I will no longer be ordering from this company. I received my order last week and the Hatch Chile was not hot at all. Guess it was mislabeled. It had no kick to it. I understand there’s different spice levels, but this had no spice at all also found out through Pam that the chille that I had got was from last year 2025. I told her that’s not acceptable that I would refer this year 2026 but yet alone they’re sending old harvest without a customers awareness so be on the lookout. Do not order from this place”

“As a lifelong New Mexican (ABQ & Cruces), I have loved everything Green Chile. Upon moving to Florida last year, we have found none available here. We purchased a box of fresch Green Chile from the Hatch Chile Store and had it mailed to us. We roasted it on the grill and have it all prepared for stew, enchiladas and rellanos this winter. The Medium chiles were fresh, meaty, and in perfect condition. Will absolutely purchase more!”
