“The latest shipment of peeled chilies arrived late and thawed. I sent pictures and wrote to the customer service group but evidently the email and photos went awry. They have reached out to resolve this matter and are replacing the thawed first shipment. This is the company I’ve been so happy with for several years and I’m happy to amend this review”

“I ordered 10 lbs in 5 lbs packages of both medium and hot pods and chopped green chile. I really love to peel the skins off the chile but the Hatch Chile Store only provides skinless whole and chopped Green Chile. I believe that freezing the chiles with their skins on helps the roasted/toasted flavor of the peeling on the chile flesh. I love to make my own green sauces using a combination of the hot and medium chiles and use either cubed pork or cubed beef that imparts a full-bodied chile flavor that I grew up with as a northern New Mexico-born and bred former resident. with both Native Pueblo, Apache, and Hispanic DNA.”

“My chiles arrived in amazing packaging, still frozen! I had wondered how you could have mild/medium/hot since it seems you never know what chile is going to be hot, at least in my experience. I chose the medium, and they are perfect! A good kick, but not too spicy. I also was nervous about choosing the chopped versus the whole chile, since I'm used to getting whole ones and then cutting them, but I'm really happy I chose the chopped, I just stick a spoon in to get what I want! Thank you so much! ~susan”

“When I receive my order, my chilies were all wet. The egg was everywhere very very messy. I will never ordered anything that’s frozen again. I will order your chilies in a jar or anything that does not have any breading on it.”

“Moved from Colorado three years ago and have been missing the Hatch green chilies and all the recipes that can be made from them. We recently ordered online and they were shipped fast and still frozen. Made enchiladas last week that were awesome. We will be ordering more.”
