Too over cooked and difficult to make in stuffed peppers. disappointment

The chili rellenos I thought I would try were a disappointment. They were all frozen together and the bag was ripped with chunks of the dry ice all over. Not very appealing. Plus, it would be better if they could be separated at least in groups of 4 instead all being frozen solid together.

My gift order. It FINALLY arrived in good condition. My questions to you about the order and tracking number was not answered. A backup in Reno at your distribution facility was acceptable but I did not finally get shipping information until the day it was shipped. That was several days after the order was placed. Reno being showed in accounted for some of the delay but it still took a couple days before the order was actually shipped with no answer to my questions about it after the Reno explanation. Acceptable only because it finally arrived in good condition with the recipient being pleased. We love Hatch, love Sparkies, love green chile and love showing off our State hence we will most likely use you in the future. Please be more responsive to your customer concerns. Thank You. Thanks Preston for your reply. My comment was that the user interface did not make clear the distinction (and options) between ordering chopped vs whole. You're saying that it's easy and straightforward. I am saying that I was confused. Take it at face value, please. It's why I gave you three stars instead of five. ~Bryan

Hi Brian, The product description and pictures both show peeled on your order. If you'd like to order chopped, you can always do do, but select "chopped" on the product page. Best, Preston

I was devastated to see the amount of styrofoam used to ship 5 slim packages of chiles. I won't be ordering anything from you again until you figure out a more earth-friendly way of shipping them. I haven't tried the chiles yet. I am from Colorado and have fond memories of eating Hatch Chiles growing up, but I will either live without them or take them in my suitcase from Denver the way I usually do. If you do change your packaging please send out an email saying so, and I'll consider ordering again. Also, the radio buttons you have to rate the service from 1-5 has two 2s and no 3.

The shipment that we received from the Hatch Chile Store was well packaged, and the quality of the chiles that we ordered is excellent. However, I placed a late-season order for chiles in late summer, and we did not receive our order until late November. The suggestion is to inform customers to expect this type of lengthy delay UP FRONT, so customers like ourselves would know how long it would really take to complete the order.

I requested and paid for 2 day delivery and it took 4 days. Chili was shipped from Nevada and we are directly north of New Mexico. The dry ice was gone but the chili was still frozen so no damage. I love the taste of your chili By far the best tasting. Thank you

Hi Rosie, It looks like you placed your order on a Thursday. We are not able to ship out our roasted and frozen chile after Wednesday. If we ship any later in the week it will get held up at a FedEx warehouse over the weekend and spoil. It looks like we got your order shipped out the following Monday. The Chilies did show up in a timely manner. Thanks for that. There were 6 Chilies that were rotten and were leaking through the box. I would have thought they came in some sort of bag and not just in the box. Not crying about it just thought you should know.

Several of the peppers were bruised and rotten due to damage to the box during shipping. Considering how much you charge for shipping I would think a little more protection could be provided.

My peppers arrived and almost 1/2 were red... so I notified you.. I was told this was end of season and that was normal.. ok I cannot live with that.. but when I order mild.. I wanted mild! I believe somebody boxed the wrong peppers for me.. these peppers are aggressively hot.. I made the mistake of letting my grandson eat one while I was roasting the second batch... poor child.. it sat him on fire.. I thought he was just being whimsy so, I attempted to eat one... no! They were obviously mispackaged... they smell wonderful.. but we can’t eat hot... on the ad it says mild has very little to no heat.. but I promise you... these were hot! ...

Very small chilies this year .. majority are only slightly larger than jalapeños and soft and wrinkled.. not on par with previous years... maybe I waited too long to order this season.

Arrived fresh. Excited to get it roasted and in my belly! Ordered medium-hot and was entirely disappointed that there were no heat to these at all. Very flavorful put just no spark

Since moving away from NM I have used Hatch Chile Store to get our green chile fix. I order for myself and my adult kids. The product is always good. My major issue i that each year, the communication that there will be a shipment is absent- despite claiming they do tell you. One year I was out of town and had no one who could grab the package and the chile went bad. And again this year, I just got a delivery confirmation, not knowing it was coming and am out of town. Luckily, I have a back up. They are also very slow to answer emails - this year I sent an email over a week ago inquiring when the roasted red chile can be ordered- no response yet. They need to up their game communication wise.

last year I got medium chilies and they were too hot. This year I got medium and they have no heat and little flavor,
