Ordering and delivery excellent . But the rug is not good quality , lots of pulls in it when it arrived and even more now it’s been down a week .

The purchase of the rug was straightforward and it was delivered quite promptly. However, when opened, the rug had not been rolled properly and was folded at one end leaving deep indentations across the one end of the rug and the pile had also been pushed back across the end of the rug, exposing the hessian. I called customer services and was asked to send evidential photographs. This I did via email on 6 October. It is now 14 October and I haven't heard anything....not even an acknowledgement of my email. Very poor customer service!!

I ordered four rugs at Easter 2017. Without going through the entire rigmarole - there have been various stages to this over the past four months - the current position is that one rug was discontinued, another rug had to be substituted because stock got burnt down, and the remaining two have still not been delivered. All the staff I've dealt with have been polite and friendly, but given the actual status of my order, I was quite surprised to receive an email last week saying that I had 'recently' made a purchase from the company, and inviting me to place this review.

The rug had a deep crease in it and would not lie flat. We tried all the advice on the site eg. reverse rolling and a good anti-slip underneath the rug but nothing cured the problem. The rug was returned, quite expensive carriage paid and a week later I have heard nothing re inspection of rug or offer of refund. I would not use the company again.

Thank you for your recent review of The Rug Seller. We have spoken with the quality control who have confirmed the creases to be pressure marks and would settle with time and use. We can also see that the accounts department processed a refund back to your payment method on the 24th August which takes 3 working days to show; therefore, should be showing by today. After ordering previously with fast delivery. We were expecting the same again but after ordering in May we were kept waiting till August 8th before we received our rug. Having decorated and Had new furniture delivered we were not expecting a 3 month wait to finish the room

The rug was ordered in January and I was told it would take about 8-10 woks but nearer to delivery time I was told it was out of stock not once, not twice but three times. The eventually arrived at the end if June and it was the colour I expected it to be and as I live in the Channel Islands it would have been too much trouble to go through returning it so I kep it and put it in another room as the colour wasn't what I had expected it to be.

The rug, after 3 weeks, has started to unravel. So really not the quality I was hoping for for the price

Thank you for your recent review of The Rug Seller. As per our terms and conditions, if you wish to return your purchase, please inform us via e-mail within 14 days of delivery. The rug must be returned undamaged, in its original condition and packaging within 14 days of acceptance of your return request. You are responsible for the cost of returning the rug (unless the rug is faulty). Once we have received the rug and are happy it has been returned in the same condition as it was dispatched, we will issue you with a full refund on the purchase price of the goods. Alternatively, you can choose to accept a credit for the full price of the rug you ordered. This can be used towards the purchase of another rug. I love the rug but it 'creeps' constantly and already has wrinkles in it. I purchased the white material which is supposed to keep it in place but this has also wrinkled. Although the rug is lovely it is not a good look with wrinkles and ripples all over it.

The selection is vast, however, customer service is nonexistent. I just found out the my rug will have a severe delay and the company is not offering anything as a make good for this. Furthermore thy actually wrote me this: "We do not intend to provide this news; however, in cases where an item is in high demand there can be a unforeseen delay." So they know which products are in high demand but they won't give you a choice on whether you still would like to continue with the purchase but they will gladly take your money.

I ordered 2 rugs to go in the same room & they were completely different colours. One of the rugs had an obvious stain & two areas where the weave was damaged. Also I ordered the rugs over the phone as I couldn't complete payment online. Despite the fact that both rugs had anti-slip material already the customer service rep allowed me to order anti-slip mats. It would have been good customer service to have at least queried this with me & I obviously wouldn't have ordered them. I had to call twice to arrange collection.

Not as described said was thick as 1euro but is not !! Would not buy from here again did not feel quality was good good for price paid and so would not recommend

Had to chase order a number of times, they did not even know which order I had received and which was outstanding. Childrens rug was of very poor quality, very thin and disappointing. Returned item, but RS refused to pay postage even in the circumstances, costing me £12. Beware !!

Ordered rug well in advance of our holiday but as it still not delivered I phoned customer service to find out about delay, they said they would check and get back to me. Never got back to us so I phoned back they said they would make a note to delay delivery until after our holiday. We just happened to be looking at emails on hol and saw they had delivered rug and left on door step! We email them to say not happy as it looks obvious no one at home and if it is safe and weather etc also shouldn't have to waste our hol email a rug company!

The rug was a Scottish tartan rug in the picture the colours were very vivid with rich bright tones . The rug we received was dull in comparison and I felt was a let down . I sent it back by return post. and one week later I am still waiting for a refund not pleased at all
