I knew of, and have followed many of Michael Moseley's tv programmes and research. Recently, when
I felt I needed support to change my diet habits, and motivate me to re start to cook fairly easy recipes from scratch, it seemed logical to look closely at the Fast 500.
Additionally, I feel motivated by the Fast 500 exercise programmes to exercise daily again. Im looking forward to beginning the mindfulness part of the programme, which I think I'm now ready for.
I feel supported by the Fast 500 Team, and by members of the community, even though I have not fully participated in many conversations with the community.
I don't consider this as being on a diet, but rather as a change in my diet, which I intend to continue.

I have really enjoyed the program. The meal choices are flexible, which has allowed me to switch meals if the recommended meal is not to my taste.
All of the low impact exercises have been more than manageable. As well as that I have walked or cycled every day.
The reading has also been manageable. Not to long or short.

“Having fluctuated in terms of weight over the past few years somewhere between 96kg while occasionally tipping over into 100, never having done a diet in my life, having experienced my mother's death who was 93 I'm feeling that I would like to get to that age too (I am 72), I decided enough was enough and I needed to get back to a reasonable weight. Ideally it would be to get down to just under 80 kilos which would give me a BMI of “normal”. That was my aim. Despite unforeseen interruptions to the diet, I find the Fast800 programme effective and easy to follow, alternating between fasting days and normal eating. I am presently down to 84kg. Other effects (blood pressure, sleeping well…) have been positive too and I have to agree with your own words that you have demystified the science of nutrition while making complex dietary principles accessible. Rather than Ozempic and other medications, wouldn't it be helpful for the National Health to run dietary programmes such as the Fast800?”

“I joined the fast800 program as much for the exercise program as the meals and have been hugely impressed. I didn’t just lose weight but learned I need to add more calcium and protein to my diet. It was so informative and helpful thought I had a pretty good idea of what a healthy diet was! But it was even more. With its variety of exercise programs including resistance, HIIT, Pilates and stretching, meditations, habit building workshops and articles on eating healthily, this was a wonderfully holistic program that I believe would be helpful for anybody. “I've stuck with this diet for 10 weeks. It is so flexible and being able to choose between different styles of eating has been great. “Highly recommend this programme. It's not just about weight loss but improving health and wellbeing in a supportive, fact based and non judgemental way. I've found the weekly menus, exercises, mindfulness and articles easy to use and navigate. I've been able to adapt the different approaches such as from the 5:2 to the very fast 800 2 meals a day, to the transition 4:3 at week 10. I'm eating better, spending less on food I don't need, and lost significan weight along the way. I was addicted to sugar and now I have the knowledge and techniques to help me ignore it. “I did not think I could do this but I have enjoyed the food,I like that you can swap meals. It has been challenging my wife and I tackled it together we are at week 10 I have lost 22lb my wife has lost 16lb but she has seen changes in her diabetic levels for the better.
