I recently purchased a patio furniture set from the online service and upon receiving it there was some damage, its been over a month now and i have still not had this resolved, all the customer services say is, this is not the right department and i get cut off or i get told someone will call me back, i have not heard anything back from them, despite my endless phone calls and emails, i would not recommend the Range to anyone.

I decided on a chosen delivery day Fri. to receive a patio set and received an email to say this was not possible. I was told to wait 72 hours and the delivery people would text me regarding delivery, still no delivery and its Monday! This is the second time The Range have let me down, rubbish suppliers, don't trust them.

I placed and order online and paid for a certain delivery date and waited in for it all day, to only find it wasn't even on its way. I ended up waiting over a week for my order and when it came it arrived with scratches on the wood. I've emailed the customer service email 3 times which gives you an automated messages stating they will endeavour to reply within 48 hours or a week for more in depth cases. Terrible service to not have had a reply in 3 weeks! I didn't even bother going through the returns process as getting the damaged product was a headache in itself!

I bought The Hudson sofa bed in store at Kidderminster. I had to wait 18days for delivery. During this 18 day waiting time the price was reduced by £100 but I was not offered the reduced price. Then after delivery we opened the sofa bed box to assemble the sofa to find there were no instructions. I rang Kidderminster store and was offered a "talk through" over the phone on assembly as they too had no instructions on putting it together. I asked for the £100 discount which had been added on the item before my delivery had taken place. No-one was interested. Shocking service all round......shame on you The Range.

On line shopping with this company is a farse, part of the order arrived broken and the other part never arrived at all, customer service like to say 'sorry' but are absolutely useless, I was ringing them on an off for a week and they promise to return calls but do not, I have been told my £210.00 refund for the missing part of the order will take up to 14 days to arrive back in my bank!!! with interest!!! I think not, so shop in store but stay clear of the online service it is diabolical.

I am so upset and humiliated by how I was treated by staff and management in The Range, King's Lynn yesterday 16th March. I went to return a pair of faulty curtains, I had them in a big carrier bag because they were big curtains. I was having a look around the store looking for my husband. Obviously because I had a big bag I was then watched and followed by four members of staff and the security guy who also stood about four feet behind me all the time I was at the Customer Service desk!! Unfortunately I had no receipt for the curtains but I knew I had purchased them mid December and I had the card I had paid on. The sales advisor said they would have to check on the computer so I was to have a wander round the store and come back in a few minutes. Once again the security guy followed us all around the store!!! On returning to the Customer Service desk the sales advisor said I had not bought any curtains in Oct, Nov or Dec and they had not sold any of the curtains I had brought back in the whole of December. She asked if I was sure I had bought them in there even though there was a display of them in the isle behind me. She said I could bring in a bank statement but I said I had already looked at that and it only showed the total amount paid and not individual items. She said she could call management but there was no point as they would say the same that they could do nothing. I said that I did want to talk to a manager. At this stage other customers were starting to look and listen and I felt totally embarrassed especially with the security guy still standing there. Some chap appeared, and more or less relayed what the sales advisor had told us. He said for all he knew I could have bought them in a different shop then bought them back there, so with no receipt he couldn't do anything!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I asked him if they had definitely checked for the correct curtains. He said, well we can check again. He then said oh they had the wrong number on them. I said, so now you are confirming that I bought them in this store in mid December as I said, he agreed. I was so humiliated and upset. He didn't even apologise. The Customer Service in this store is absolutely appalling. To be treat as a criminal for returning a faulty item is disgusting. I often shop in The Range but it will be a long time if ever before I go in there again. Interestingly I have just read other posts and it seems I am not the first customer who has been treated in this way in this store!!

Purchasing the product fine. Their couriers XDP are another thing. Check their ratings of 1. Won't reply to e.mails. Won't reply to telephone messages. Can't get through. Complained to the Range but no assistance given there. Will never buy again. Still waiting for delivery after 1week.

Liars and Scammers. Finally got them to uplift a large mirror 0n 5/1 (delivered 15/12 )that was damaged. Rang on 18/1 asking where refund was, told only received day before (!) but immediate refund would be made as I paid with PayPal. So then I started ringing as it never came through. Each time I was put on hold for between 4 to 6 minutes at premium rate, reflected in the bill I have just received for a total of 48 minutes. Then I would get a profuse apology and reassurance it was being done 'as we speak'. )n 25/1 I had had enough of the lies and opened a dispute with PayPal - just received my money back now. I believe this is a policy directed from the top: Keep everyone hanging on so we make a bit of bunce on the phone calls Lie through your teeth so we hang onto their money a bit longer Keep spinning a yarn - they might get fed up and give up so we keep their money I can only think this is the case otherwise the Management would surely have done something to mitigate the dreadful reviews Customer Services have, and the problems I have had are a common theme throughout them. Shameful and appalling. I dont know how they sleep at night. Avoid at all costs and tell anyone who will listen to do so as well.

The store in Loughborough lots of stock is not priced, very often wrong price. Every time I have to check my receipt to find something wrong. I am not on my own,my husband and my son have had the same problem. The store is a joke. I've complained many times but nothing is ever done. If another store stocked what I needed I would never shop at the range again. It's a shame because the rang of stock is great,it's just a pity the management team are not up to the job. I'm sorry but this has gone on for a long time, and it's made me very angry

I bought and paid for an item 2 weeks ago. Money taken from my bank account, no item delivered. Have emailed The Range twice and received automated replies, nothing more. Email sent to me on 20/1/18 saying item despatched, so where is it?

I wish I had read the other reviews before using the Range online. Having ordered a sideboard online, there being nowhere to put special delivery instructions I called them to advise them that I live in a very narrow road and required a smaller than normal delivery van - no problem they said. On delivery day - guess what - couldn't be delivered as the vehicle was too big. Numerous telephone calls and emails later, with various different things being told me and no guaranteed delivery date, I finally gave up and cancelled the order and asked for a refund. I sent numerous emails asking for confirmation that I would receive a refund with no response and so had too make yet another call. A very rude, so called customer service representative put the phone down on me as I refused to take their ridiculous behaviour any longer and wanted to speak to a manager (obviously not allowed!). Unbelievably, within 5 minutes of this call I received an email informing me that I am responsible for the return of the good that I have not received, and furthermore that I will be held responsible if there is any damage! And so it goes on .... I will never use the Range again - they are unhelpful, intransigent and clearly have no concept of what customer service means!

I was asking for assistance and was spoken to very rudely by staff. I reported this and management said they will sort it out. have been in again since and staff are still very rude. I very rarely ask for help but when I do I am always polite. I did not complain the second time, I will just not use the store Broadstairs again.

Bought a glass tier tv stand and it exploded all over my 3 yr old daughter. Service from Tara Hancock is absolutely disgraceful. Complaint disregarded due to them not offering no warrenty on a product that apparently is my fault it exploded.. never shopping here again and making my friends and family aware. If you do shop here don’t expect any help if something goes wrong !! Disgusting service

After 30 min waiting at the cashier for product price when I was ready to pay when suddenly and checked the invoice and the Christmas Tree was price £ 99.00 when it was showing ‘’sale £ 79.99’’ in it’s label. Another 25 min waiting till a rude woman came and said ‘’No it’s £ 99.00’’. I had to spend more time to go in the back of the store and show them the label. They said that price was for the display one, but nothing in the label was informing that this sale was for the display tree only, in fact it showed in bif letter ‘’sale was £99 now £79’’. This is misleading. I have photos to prove!!

I wish I could give it no stars! The worst online shopping experience of my life. No update from the courier for a delivery time / date. Arrived unexpectedly whilst I was leaving for work. Opened the boxes for my Bronte 4 door wardrobe and found no instruction manual so couldn't check anything. 16 phone calls later and 3 emails and I managed to downloads the booklet. Checked the parts to find 4 screws missing; the 4 screws which are the first ones to be used so again couldn't do anything. Had to wait another 10 days for the screws to be delivered only to receive the whole amount of screws, clips etc again. In total I made 26 phone calls and sent 6 emails, but never received one call or email back. A terrible experience with a terrible company. Do not use them.

Worst Online Company & Support I Have EVER Dealt With (AVOID!!) Trying to get a hold of anyone to arrange return is near on impossible, I have spent over £35 in calls and sent many emails to hello at therange.co.uk and have waited in 2 days for collection, yet the item is still packaged and has not been collected. I am now charging £25 a day in storage fees as of the 11th Sept 2017, and at the end of the month I will dispose of the item and put this into the hands of a debt collector to recover my initial cost and fees from The Range, other goods I received were damaged, and was promised partial refund if I kept them, again, never happened. Worst online company I have ever dealt with, and will never buy from again, BE WARNED you will be charged 25p a minute via mobile, waiting for them to never answer your call, because their call center is backed up with callers complaints, I spent 40 mins waiting at cost of £10 and spoke to nobody, eventually hanging up, don;t waste your time with this company, they are literally the worst I have ever dealt with. UPDATE: 30/09/2017 I contacted the local store in Southampton Monday 25th by phone and spoke to Tony in the furnishing department, and after he made some calls told me that the courier (DPDx) would be contacting me directly to arrange collection for my return of the damaged Farmhouse Sideboard, and if they did not, to call back at the weekend, they didn't contact me, so called the store again, and asked for Tony, he then told that the store manager would email them, and I asked him to have the manager contact head office also and have someone contact me, I have sent 2 letters to their head office in the past week, he told me the store manager would phone me back as soon as they had emailed the courier, no one contacted me back yet again, I have spent £35-£40 in calls, sent numerous emails (least a dozen), been in to the local store several times, and I still have this Farmhouse Sideboard packaged to go back and it's stuck in my one bed flat hallway since they should have collected on the Monday 11th September, and have no indication of when or if they will ever collect it and refund me, I have even threatened them with a debt collector, which is the route I am now planning to go to recover my money and compensation. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THE RANGE ONLINE EVER AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO ONE EVER DOES. Will you be wasting you're time contacting The Range, see below of my experience.
