Defective wallpaper my professional decorator called me to say each time he pasted the wallpaper the pattern came off I contacted The Range where I purchased from and the supplier Arthouse Arthouse have interegated me blamed everything but there wallpaper and done nothing to help resolve the situation. I was not surprised when I saw multiple negative reviews of simular problems

Only because I can’t give them a zero. Order 4 dining chairs and also paid for a delivery on a day we would be at home. Needless to say they did not arrive Tried to deliver the following day when no one was in (unfortunately we have to work) they delivered the following day and left them sitting in my front garden for all to see in torrential rain in damaged badley broken boxes On putting them together discovered there was a small tear in the one and a small stain on another so called customer services again to ask for an exchange on these after sending them photos of the damage they agreed to exchange the chairs both to be completed on the same day I got a number of emails contradicting what had been agreed until they eventually agreed tgT this would happen. Anyway to cut a long story numerous telephone calls and emails I have now been informed that I cannot have the replacement until I have sent the others back and then told I would be receiving the chairs in a day when no one los going to be home. After calling them yet again they are now telling me they don’t deliver on the day originally arranged and would have to accept a different day to which I asked them why they took payment for specific day delivery when they don’t facilitate this. I then asked to speak with their manager only to be informed that he won’t speak with paying customers. A retail store that does not speak with the public . I have also tried to speak with their carriers XDP who also won’t speak to customers. The is my first order with The Range and it will definitely be my last. Dreadful customer service and dreadful carriers

Oh dear, absolute shambles. Ordered 2 items, first item delivered within 5 days. However, 2nd item is a far different story. I received a despatch email from The Range stating my item had been despatched to Yodel as the delivery company. Yodel have the item on their website - stating “With Sender” - this remains the case many days later. Spoke with Yodel, they confirmed the parcel has not been released to them. I’ve phoned The Range twice, each time told to wait another 4 days for their affiliate to respond. My contact is with The Range not an affiliate, they aren’t interested apart from saying wait another 4 days. I asked why The Range sent an despatch email when it hadn’t - only response to both my phone calls is their stock answer “wait 4 days” so that’s 8 days so far. How many more 4 days am I expected to wait ?

I ordered some shower gels online and was sent different products to the ones I ordered. I returned them to the local store and they refunded the items, but couldn't refund the postage, and said I would need to contact their head office. I had two attempts at raising a complaint online, but there wasn't a category for wrong items, and I was asked to confirm the problems was still outstanding, but that required a login different from the one for The Range, so I couldn't do it. Finally today I phoned them. The person I spoke to said I couldn't get the postage refunded because I had changed my mind, which I hadn't. They also said I would need photos of the items delivered and that I should go back to the store for a postage refund, which I had already tried! The whole process seems designed to avoid paying back money. Avoid at all costs!

Look at your reviews. You need to up your game. Terrible service. I have never been treated so bad by any company ever. I put a review on another page but you really should be ashamed of upsetting so many customers.

Was intouch same day of delivery sent furniture back as missing bits customer service would not help as through rattrix they sell for took me 5mths for refund had to go through bank to get it while very poorly,as I had proof of everything disgraceful way to treat customers

I ordered a Rattan furniture set. I got an email saying it had been despatched to the courier Arrow XL and they'd organise delivery. I called Arrow XL, they denied receiving the order - I then called The Range who said Arrow XL were lying (yes that's right, the customer service team called their couriers liars) and that Arrow XL did have it. This made me feel uneasy and I asked to cancel my order, I was assured this was done and I'd receive an email confirming that my refund had been processed. No email was received, I called again to be reassured the refund had been processed and they said it had and to not worry. 1 week later, my £400 hasn't been returned. I've called again (4th time) and been told the refund wasn't processed (despite calling twice the previous week) and that this time they would process it but it'd be another 5 working days. Will I ever get my money back? The customer service team take no accountability for false promises - never had such a bad service with a company or felt the need to write such a negative review. I'd advise The Range to listen in and audit some of their customer service calls. Don't order online from The Range!

I found just what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Great I thought I'll order it. It was delivered and while unpacking it I discovered there were no fittings so I could not put it together. Damb I thought now I'll have to try to contact them. Eventually found on line contact form so I completed it and submitted it. Heard nothing so after a week I rang them and eventually got through to Kenya. She asked me to take pics of the parts received and the fittings not received from the instruction leaflet which I did and emailed them to her. After a few days I had heard nothing so I emailed Kenya for an update. It can't be that difficult to post out the fittings I needed. No response..... nothing not even an acknowledgement from her just a really annoying auto email which serves no purpose what so ever. Customer service is non existent. After about 2.5 weeks I'd still heard nothing so I emailed again and this time I received a rather inane email thanking me for my patience telling me they were waiting on the supplier. Well it's now over 3 weeks and still nothing to update me so I've bought fittings myself and what I thought to be a reasonably priced table has turned out to be rather expensive. I will never buy anything on line from The Range again. As I write this review I am still waiting to hear from them....

No txt or email about delivery date and its been 10 days now and my item is still at the couriers warehouse not delivered - every time I call the Range I get a different story and they have been most unhelpful indeed - there is no way to contact the courier company and I have no idea if I will ever get my item or if its been lost. Was promised a refund on the postage for the inconvenience yet that never happened - customer service is appalling and no one seems to know what is going on or even care - will NEVER buy online from the range again as spend £130 on a water feature that I still dont have and just keep getting told to wait longer - they continue to hold my money and I have no item

Purchased a BBQ from the Torquay store. Found it leaked fat on the first use, when I returned it to the store I was informed by a supervisor that as it had been used it could not be returned. This is interesting take on how you find out an item is faulty. The manger was called who was very arrogant and argumentative, said that 3 burgers had too much fat, I had used the wrong fuel, which was supplied by the Range. He was very argumentative and said he would do nothing about it. I was told to contact customer services. They said they only deal with online orders and advised I complain through the website. I received a reply after a week telling me to send it to another email address. I then sent it to that address and got a scripted reply stating they will be in touch as fast as possible. It is now over three weeks and I have had no updates, despite asking for some by email. You cannot speak to anybody in person as I was informed the Customer Care department do not have a phone. I have a decking that has to be repaired due to the grease stains and a BBQ that is faulty and potentially dangerous and no help from The Range who supplied it. My only hope is through the small claims courts. I have given one star as you cannot give zero.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEXRANGE ONLINE!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED TRYING TO RETURN ITEMS. THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND HOW TO MAKE IT AS DIFFICULT OR ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO RETURN ONLINE ORDERS!!! I AM STILL TRYING TO GET ITEMS RETURNED TWO WEEKS IN. YOUR LUCKY IF YOU EVEN GET A RESPONSE, LET ALONE DEAL WITH A SIMPLE REQUEST! TRADING STANDARDS NEED INFORMING BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING A SERVICE THEY PROMISE THRIR CUSTOMERS!!

Don't order online!!! I have had nothing g but issues into trying to return an item through their third party, I am now two months on at trying to return my item, still no avail despite continuous calls and emails avoid at all costs!!

To shop in store is never a problem but online from their third party sellers is horrendous! 2 years ago I bought online and had an absolute nightmare just trying to return a damaged item that I eventually had to go in store to complain and they refunded even though it was a third party seller. I swore I'd never order online again, 2 years later I stupidly ordered online again and I am now asking myself why why why. Ridiculous return charges, damaged boxes, one item arrived partly broken, another arrived today totally wrong item. Things happen, I get it but my order's have been consistently a nightmare. Customer service on the telephone are friendly and helpful, by email is awful! Back and forth asking stupid questions time wasting when the issue is completely straightforward. I can't bare big companies who's customer service is this level of poor there's just no excuse. Every time I've ordered it's caused me nothing but a headache, there definitely won't be a third time.

Disrespectful staff with inflated opinions of themselves. Rude, unhelpful and discriminatory. I made the mistake of popping in to buy an essential I knew they stocked. Big mistake, you don’t go shopping to be profiled by the pasty faced Karen working tills, accused of theft with no evidence. The utter lack of tact or politeness while being attacked for simply shopping is proof of the complete lack of class evident in the staff members of this store. Shop elsewhere, you can find the same pointless tat online.

Customer services does nothing for you. Every item I've bought is faulty. And delivery is dia . Says Thurs arriving .I'm still waiting Saturday. I rang and nothing get done. Delivery company is rubbish give you time slot and don't turn up 😡. No more ordering from the range.

I recently purchased LED lights for my balcony and some minor items all delivered well except for dresses I purchased from you that came from Jaoyeh.com they are scammers I paid for 3 but got 2 dreadful the items I received are fit for the bin, not even charity ! Why are you selling these and why do you refuse to accept responsibility (under the Consumer Act) for them, you are responsible for everything you sell. Your customers are pay the price.. it's not fair and it's not right. I shopped with you before but never again shame on you ....

Useless! Ordered an item for a confirmation email, they said delivery in 8 days……7 days later got an email to say the item had been dispatched waited another 7 days. Called twice. The first time I was told it was stuck in the warehouse the second time They told me it had been sent back due to damage! Never even received the item, offered me a refund on the p&p. Anyway, after asking for a refund I got one (was told it would take 3-5 working days) Never ever again I will order from the range.

This is a disgusting company who have ignored consumer rights and their own terms and conditions and I will be taking them to small claims court for my costs. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THE RANGE!! the item cosy £100 and with an annual turnover of millions I have been emailing for months to resolve this, take your business elsewhere.

Ordered and paid for 2 recliners but only one was delivered. Arrow XL informed me that one had been cancelled by The Range?? After over an hour I finally got through to Customer Care and was informed that the item was damaged, I was then put on hold which lasted ages and i finally hung up. God knows how much my mobile bill will be! I went to the local store but they said as I'd ordered this myself they couldn't get involved. Their own customer care team wouldn't even discuss the problem with them. I've had to send an email asking for an explanation, at no time did The Range contact me about this. I've paid nearly £400 for these recliners and if I decide to return this item I'll have to pay for that too. Terrible service.
