It was relatively easy to book my trip online with Tour Radar apart from choosing the room type as it kept saying I had to name a second person even though I was traveling solo. Every time I called to speak to a person at Tour Radar, they were so helpful, patient and followed up readily and efficiently. The information emailed out was clear and well organised. I felt confident and well informed booking via Tour Radar. Thank you.

Regarding the rooming options on the booking page: some tours indeed have a mandatory single supplement, which means that solo travellers will need to pay for this supplement to join the tour. That can be due to the travel style of this operator, or simply the fact that they often have a group big enough to successfully pair solo travellers in a twin room with another traveller. For those cases, the double room is only available for two people travelling together. We remain available should you have any question or concerns - our team is online 24/7! I have used Tourradar before and I was happy with the tour in 2017. I had no hesitation going back. I did have a booking disagreement which they prompt resolved and corrected on site. - i think it is important to mention that. Still have more holidays tours to book. PS - I love sharing room with stranger, It makes holiday fun. Why not have an extra box to tick, ask if available I am prepared to share room.? So if 2 same sex tick box, refund extra payment. If not company lost nothing

Easy booking, it would have been helpful if I had know what information was going to be asked before I started the process of booking, i.e. birthdays. I was booking for six and made several phone calls during the process. Once I found the "right" tour, I had a little difficulty finding it again. Other than that booking was easy.

In order to easily locate your perfect tour later on, the Email Icon on the top-right of the page will enable you to send a link for future browsing. Once a booking is placed, we set up a personalized booking platform for our customers, which contains all of the details of your tour, including an easy-view link. This platform is accessible through our confirmation email, or in the ‘My Tours’ section of your TourRadar account. Good but it would be useful to have a flag that comes up before booking and paying that there are not currently enough people for the tour to run. I paid and then it was immediately declined which then meant going through a refund process that slowed down the ability to find and book another tour

Hi Christeen, We thank you for your feedback about a good booking experience but regret to hear that you were unable to secure a spot on your desired tour. At TourRadar we will always endeavor to make the booking process as smooth as possible and value any feedback we receive in order to perfect this. Some tour operators do have a minimum numbers requirement and it was unfortunate that the date you requested had not met this. Looking at your file we can see this booking was never fully confirmed and your funds were pre-authorised but never taken by TourRadar. This means there was a temporary hold put on the funds with your payment provider. As soon as your tour request was declined, the hold placed on these funds were automatically voided with the bank. We understand that waiting for pre-authorized funds to return to your card can be time-consuming and would like to advise that during this pending process we can easily transfer these funds to another tour of your choice if ever required. With all this said, we are very glad to see you were able to successfully book an alternative tour for your chosen date, and you are all set for your next amazing touring experience! Good experience. I was able to get my questions answered by both email and phone. I do have one complaint. The single supplement is too high. Maybe the tour company should look into having sharing for single persons.

Some operators do charge a mandatory single supplement for operational reasons, however, there are operators who allow for twin-share accommodation with a solo traveler of the same gender. The great thing about single supplements though, is that you will have your own room for the duration of the tour where you can relax in peace after a busy day exploring. We can see that the operator was very accommodating on this occasion, and was able to provide a 10% discount against the single supplement for you. We also have a dedicated Customer Service Team on hand to assist with finding a suitable tour where a single supplement is not mandatory, and we would be happy to provide these options for any future bookings with us. It is very difficult communicating with Tourradar /Balkan tours . I have paid my deposit but have really not received any further details . my friend has also had a hard time . I have since been contacted by Christina from TourRadar in Toronto and she was very helpful and resolved many of my questions . Thank you .
