Easy booking process. I was even able to get the additional Boxing Day discount through a new booking. No troubles. The only concern I had before taking the tour, which is still 8 months away is on the itinerary the last day said returned to the hotel at 17:00 hr. I thought we may be staying overnight fo a next day flight. That was not the case when I called TourRadar. Of course there are no flights for me after that time, so I would need to stay that night. The itinerary should have said “Hotel stay optional” so that I wasn’t confused. I did mention that to staff to communicate upward. Great price for the event of 8 days.

Hi there Ronald, Thank you for taking the time to review your booking experience! We have had a look at your booking and can totally understand, from your point of view, how it seems that the hotel should be included on your last day. Tour services generally come to an end with breakfast on the last day, but we can see that your tour does not end until 5 PM on the last day. Whilst a number of passengers will be looking to book flights out that very night, some passengers may choose to stay in the destination for longer or arrange onward travel via bus or overnight train. Not having the hotel included on the last night not only keeps the tour cost down, it allows all travellers the flexibility to make onward travel arrangements as they see fit. If you are unable to find a flight for same-day departure and require additional accommodation, we would be more than happy to assist you in booking this in - Just let us know! In the meantime, we will be passing on your valuable feedback to your tour operator so that they can consider how to make this information more clear to future passengers. We are so happy to hear that the booking process was easy for you and thank you for choosing TourRadar for your touring needs. Best regards, The TourRadar Team

The repository of trips and tours is fantastic! The most difficult part is choosing the tour, or in our case 3! I would suggest that for members you be able to store some of the information so that one does not have to enter the same information time and time again. We booked 3 trips with different opperators and they all basically want the same info so perhaps TourRadar allows us to store some of that information that is not going to change with every tour.

Hi Denis, Thank you for this incredibly valuable feedback! We can definitely see how not having to fill out some basic information when booking could help make the process more convenient - You might be happy to know this handy feature is available to all users who log in to their account prior to booking. Of course, information such as travel insurance will need to be manually filled in each time, as travel insurance generally is purchased on a per-trip basis and does expire. However, basic information such as your name and email address are input automatically on the booking page when you are logged in to your account. We hope that information is helpful for next time and thank you so much for being a loyal TourRadar customer. Happy Holidays, The TourRadar Team

Overall this tour was well worth it. The driver Rami was fantastic. He was always on time, ensured hotel details were sorted, was flexible with what I wanted to do (drove out of his way to see Patrika’s gate), and helped me learn Hindi! He made sure I had bottled water, recommended food, and had calm and helpful manners. His car was very clean- which is big when you drive so many hours. The hotels and staff were also really good. The breakfast at amer valley was awesome, and Krab Villas switched my room when I complained of noise levels. The tour guides for New Delhi and Agra were great- with the Agra guide being the best. The Agra guide was very professional and respectful. But the Jaipur guide was bad. He always walked far 30 ft in front of me. I asked him twice to slow down, he said “it’s how I normally walk”. When we were at the sundial, I looked away from him to see the marble and he said “are you listening to me or not?”. He told me not to go inside Hawa Mahal, then when I decided to go, he repeated, “ready to go?” until I said I’d prefer to look around on my own. Overall, the hotels and guides were good. The driver was excellent- made a single female feel very safe and knew a lot, but the Jaipur guide was bad.

Hi there Derek, Thank you for your review! Here at TourRadar, we always make it our priority to keep the traveller informed, even when they may be delays in getting the answers you need from the tour operator. Whilst we are open 24/7, the operators we work with have their local business hours which can sometimes cause delays. We are glad you are having a positive experience with us and remain at your service 24/7! Best regards, The TourRadar Team

I'm 'technologically challenged' so I had a bit of a learning curve. I was having some difficulty this morning (12/27) trying to make sense of the material that I had received. So I asked for some help and was glad to find out that it wasn't just my technological ineptitude. TourRadar had forgotten to send the Vouchers! When the Vouchers arrived everything began to make sense.

Hi Peter, Thanks for your review - We are very glad to hear that you now have your vouchers and the information contained within them is helpful! Normally, vouchers must be manually generated by your tour operator and do not get sent until approximately 2-3 weeks prior to departure. Vouchers are withheld until closer to departure in case of any last-minute changes to your accommodation or itinerary. Depending on when you book, this means it could be months until you receive your vouchers. Your operator, however, was able to provide your voucher shortly after your booking was confirmed as you are just a few weeks from departing. Should you need anything else from now until you leave for your trip, please do not hesitate to let us or your operator know; we are available 24/7 and always happy to help! Thank you so much for choosing TourRadar. Happy travels, The TourRadar Team

The booking process is simple. But yes there is always a but.. I wanted to see if si gle supplment was available and how much it would cost. Sometimes I had to start the booking process to get the information, I also had to message some tour operators for the details as they were not on the booking page. Once you have entered into the booking process even though just out on price discovery, you get bombarded with e-mails "are you still interested in xyz trip". More details upfront please

Hello Jeanette, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your booking experience. We are delighted to hear that the booking process has been simple! Concerning single supplement pricing, this is available in the 'Book Now' page for any selected departure date. While most tour operators are responsible for inputting this information, there are certain factors such as limited availability and approximate costs that directly influence whether the pricing is displayed on the 'Book Now' page. Generally speaking, tour operators who have mandatory single supplements will make it known in the ‘Book Now’ page whether there’s a cost for solo travellers. We regret to hear that you have been bombarded with emails from us as this was never our intention. As travellers may sometimes mistakenly navigate from their ‘Book Now’ page, this does provide them with the opportunity to pick up where they last left off before submitting their booking. If these emails are too frequent, please look at adjusting your email notification settings in your TourRadar account. Thank you for your continued support and have a wonderful day! Kind Regards, The TourRadar Team

I am a single traveller but am happy to share a room. Unfortunately I can not book my trip offering a share room unless I have that person lined up. This I have been hit with a whopping single supplement. As a single you are really punished when you travel. I am still offering to share with someone.but can’t put this up on the booking site.

Hi there Kimberley, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! As a marketplace for multi-day tours, the 2,500+ operators TourRadar works with all have different policies for single travellers. Some allow sharing and will pair up travellers, some don't allow sharing at all for various reasons, and a number of operators require a minimum of 2 passengers per booking. Based on whether or not you would like to share with another traveller or are a single traveller, we can usually find you a trip to suit. We had a look at your booking and can see that your operator does offer the option to pair travellers together on tour; however, the specific tour you chose has unique conditions due to a cruise extension. We will reach out to you via phone with further information about this look forward to speaking with you soon! Kind regards, The TourRadar Team
