AVOID. Don't use this service. We rented a car for Glastonbury. Didn't even get an hour out of London before it broke down. The clutch was completely gone. We then had to try and make our own way to Glastonbury because Turo don't arrange another car for you. Finally, Turo are now charging us to repair the car and not reimbursing us for all the extra costs that were accrued as a result of them renting us a faulty car. One of the worst customer experiences I've ever had.

Had a very bad experience with Turo, I want to alert this SCAM app for everyone. I rented the car, paid 250$ for a 3 day ( same as i would pay for Alamo or enterprise). I was asked to pick up called from Family Dollar car park. Not ideal. I spent 25$ cab to get there, Guess what Host cancelled my booking. Now i wasted my Taxi money, and Turo locked my account without refunding me the 250$. Got an email that cancellation charge will apply (even though i did not cancel it). 128$ cancellation fees. Seriosuly?, This is a SCAM app, never use it again.

I have rented auto from your company since around 2015. I am terribly upset regarding your customer service Host. The Host cancelled 3 hours before my trip started. I was notified while I was at the airport. This is totally unacceptable. This is a common issue with your company. For emergency situations there is no immediate relief. WILL NEVER USE YOUR AGAIN. I will inform my colleagues about this disaster and disappointing event. Your company is not reliable. Refund my money ASAP

I rented a car on Turo and unfortunately had an accident. The car was slightly scratched. The damaged can hardly be seen from a distance. I spoke to the driver and he gave me a quote to repair the car. After I did my own research I realised I could do it for cheaper. I informed the owner and after discussing he changed his mind and said he now wanted to process the issue through Turo. Most likely because he wanted to squeeze all he could out of the situation. Thereafter, turo sent me an invoice to pay £1,185!!! For a scratch you can hardly see. The car is valued at its best £1500 it’s a Fiat Punto 2013. I accept responsibility for the damage I made, but the amount is completely disproportionate. Terrible Terrible experience. Don’t use this company, a slight scratch that may be a minor repair could cost you a fortune !

Turo made unjustified charges to my credit card with 24 hours notice. That's after I paid 300 USD for a small scratch damage. Their terms around damages are scary and customer service are unhelpful. Great cars but unreliable organization.

Car given was not the car listed in the description. Could not leave seller a review because seller deleted listing. Complained to Turo how I should be able to leave a review. Instead of solving the problem and letting me leave a review, Turo was beating around the bush. There's a reason they mostly have good reviews. They try their best to silence bad reviews.

Was told about this company by many. I tried this company several times. Each time they have failed to deliver. First rental was not legal to be on the road. Second vehicle was listed, booked, then canceled by host. The vehicle was listed but was wrecked and was allowed to be booked. Third car listed, booked and also canceled by the host. And behold had to wait for them to play around in my account after refunding then recharged to wait 3-5 business days. Here we are yesterday same rinse and repeat this time. Now there's a hold on my account after a host canceled again. Won't get any resolution anytime soon. I will never ever try this again with this company. Love the vehicle chose but company is a scam.

Avoid Zeeshan from Newton Pa. My delivery was over an hour late. A promise to cover my tolls for the inconvenience was broken and the brakes were noisy and grinding.

If I️ could provide a zero star I️ would. Do NOT use TURO! It is a scam. I booked a BMW with Host Allem M. but was provided an unauthorized Jeep that is not approved by Turo. I️ only took car in the morning of the reservation because I️ had to get to work but was reassured by Host Allen M of Turo that I️ would be provided BMW by 7 P.M. that evening which never happened as he ghosted me. I contacted customer services several times and was told my case was being “escalated “ and “prioritized “ but NOTHING was done to resolve this matter. I️ recommend spending more money with a real car rental company and do NOT use Turo! They are a disgrace to the notion of business. Turo is HORRIBLE!

Husbands truck broke down. I was out of town with car. He called and booked car with Turo this week. Car he was using to get there (Grandson took him) blew tire. So he started walking as it was in neighborhood. Got to where address was and not there. Turns out they park it at the community swimming pool. He called another rental car walked to it. Rented there. He is 76. Had cardiology appointment within an hour. He got the new rental car and made it to appointment. They told him no refunds. He never picked up or used car. Should be at least partial refund. This happened this week on Thursday June 15th and he spoke with the guy who rented him the car and was told no refund. Not fair. He had really bad day. Won’t use this company again.

I booked a car on Turo and paid my fee. I was instructed to pick the car up at a parking garage where he had left it for multiple nights. I was forced to pay $91.47 just to get the car out of the parking structure. This fee was never disclosed in the booking or pricing information. I contacted the host about this twice with no response. I contacted Turo and they told me they would not help me or refund the fee since it was paid to a third party and not to Turo. They should have refunded me my booking fee for the car. Will absolutely never book with them again. Do better!

I booked a trip and it was canceled a few minutes after booking by the host. My issue with Turo is, I have to actually book a trip and pay for it first in order to ask a host questions. The host cancelled the trip and I have to wait 3-5 days to receive my refund. Customer service is of Zero help. This was my first experience with Turo and most definitely will be my last.

Good luck trying to get any account information changed. So far I have been locked out of my account for 4 months - due to just an email change I was attempting to make. Horrible CRM process and platform!

I rented out my car on TURO, and unfortunately, the guest returned the car with significant damage to the front bumper, one hour away from my location. Since the rental period ended at night, I had to retrieve the vehicle the following day. I promptly filed a claim with TURO, providing all the requested documents, including original photos and an estimate from the repair shop. This incident occurred on March 20, 2023, and to my frustration, the claim is still pending as of today, May 19, 2023. Just today, TURO informed me that they are unable to prove the incident, and if the guest denies responsibility, they will not cover the damages. From this particular incident to another instance where a guest damaged my steering wheel, I have incurred more financial losses on this platform than profits. TURO should prioritize taking care of their hosts, as without us, their business would not exist.

Turo you must condone racist activities. Please revamp some rules because it's hard when you take money up front then for some unexplained reason host cancels and only get credit. What happens if unable to find car due to the color of your skin after getting extra insurance. DO NOT RENT FROM LAUREN/FLOYD KNOBS INDIANA.

I booked a vehicle for 3 days for a total of $195. In day 2nd I decided to extend the vehicle for one extra day. Once I got back home I found that they charged me $120 for that extra day. I called turo and they indicated that the extension gets charged at a higher (much higher!) price than the original booking. I will never book again with these crooks!

Been cancelled TWICE in two weeks minutes before my reservation by “5 star hosts” after paying $1000 to use a car for like 30 hours. Definitely not 5 stars. You should allow reviews when a hosts cancels. You are misrepresenting the servicez I will likely not use this service again.
