They allow ghost restaurants posing as the actual restaurants causing food safety issues.

Customer chat ended several times by agent and went unresolved. My food was shown to be picked up and driven a city away and then back (so it took over an hour) when the restaurant was 5 minutes away from me. Couldn't cancel the order, couldn't change anything. Customer service had no idea why my food needed to tour other cities. It was cold when it arrived and Uber offered no help.

I tried reaching out to Uber about the wrong delivery address. They refused to solve the issue and said they couldn't do anything cause the driver didn't speak english. Contacted the driver and was able to translate through my phone. BOTH REFUSED TO DELIVER TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS. RFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND. I will NEVER use Uber again. They're thieves.

This company rips off customers. I have ordered from them a total of 12 times and twice, after I left major notes, I got my order correctly. Things are always missing and they never get replaced and I never get refunded so I pay for nothing this last time, they delivered me my order, missing a sandwich. They made it clear that they would do nothing about it and then they sent it again and charged me twice. The second order had no sandwiches just a bag of potato chips and a soda so for one sandwich two bags of potato chips and one soda, I paid about $60. I emailed the corporate office and they won’t even reply. These people should be in jail. Oh, and let’s not forget that about a month ago. The person who delivered my food threatened to kill me I still never heard back even after involving the police.

Driver brought the wrong order and the replacement was never delivered. After calling the drive, the store and contact Uber support (which can barely be called support), I never got my order and Uber said they can not refund my money. I ordered using a voucher from my company but still out money. I will never use Uber Eats again. They are a ripoff and worthless.

I wish I could give 0 stars I absolutely hate driving for this pathetic company, I’m consistently being ripped off by this abusive, repulsive company I do not recommend driving for uber at all

The time frames to expect your food are ridiculous. There's a huge difference between 20 mins and an HOUR AND A HALF

absolutely sucks. food never arrives on time and is ridiculously expensive, my order jumped from 60-90 during checkout even though there was "no delivery fee" THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY and the food gets here cold and soggy. could never imagine why or how they still offer services. need to go out of business asap. not a provider for the people. ridiculous.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE I placed an order, but the delivery time kept shifting. I canceled the order after waiting 2 hours. It was a Monday, and the restaurant wasn’t busy. Despite this, I was charged $61.30 for the cancellation, even though I wasn’t at fault. I called the restaurant, and they told me they had my order ready at 6:30 p.m. and that it had been sitting there for an hour waiting for pickup—meaning Uber Eats had no driver. The restaurant even offered to make a fresh order for me if I had picked it up myself, because they said it wasn’t their fault or mine, but Uber’s, since they couldn’t provide a driver. Of course I didn’t want the restaurant to make me another order because it wasn’t their fault.

Ordered $45 in Mexican food and everything had meat in it even though I said no meat. DoorDash offered me five dollars. Lol 😂 yall are so stingy!! How is that fair at all !??? Yall are terrible. Use door dash yall

Uber Eats’ cancellation policy is completely unfair. I was charged for an order I accidentally placed and even though I corrected it and canceled in less than 5 minutes I was charged for the majority regardless. I would rather go back to door dash than use this service again

TERRIBLE!!! AI instantly accepts your order so you can't cancel without paying. No option to cancel orders without paying almost full price. I want to cancel when it tells me it'll take over an hour to deliver the order from local restaurants within a mile.

I had a personal and business account and spent a lot of money with this company. So today I placed an order and three different drivers were assigned to my delivery but I never received my order and when I contacted customer service I was advised that I was still being charged a ridiculous fee for the merchant and driver I was told through the chat bot in the app. Now please tell me where that is fair and I still didn't get my food. I canceled my subscription personal and professional. Can't work with a company that can't guarantee delivery of my order and also just steal my money for a made up policy that leaves the customer without nothing good service, food etc.

Absolute garbage. I ordered from a restaurant that is 5 minutes from my hotel. Driver didn't start moving until 20 minutes after the order was ready, even though he was 10 minutes away. Cancelled the order and picked up my cold food myself. And, predictably enough, Uber Eates makes it so that you can't contact them about that particular problem. Never again.

I’ve used Uber Eats plenty of times before but this last order really pushed my patience. I ordered a Coke with ice and they brought me tea instead. Honestly, I’m not even mad about the drink — mistakes happen. What I’m mad about is the complete lack of customer service. Uber Eats is one of those companies that constantly says they “value their customers” and “thank you for being a loyal member.” But those are just empty words they have to say to sound good, not something they actually mean. When I reached out to support, they offered me a 30 cent credit. Thirty cents! That doesn’t even cover the drink I paid for. I explained the issue again and again, but all I got back were canned responses and silence. At one point I sat there waiting over two hours without anyone actually helping me. I’ve been a loyal customer, and I don’t think it’s too much to expect a fair refund or at least some genuine customer service. Instead, I felt ignored and brushed off. It’s frustrating and honestly makes me rethink using Uber Eats at all. Uber Eats clearly relies on automated systems and canned replies because it’s cheaper than paying for real people to answer phones and handle problems. That might save them money, but it leaves customers stuck with poor service. Until they start valuing their customers and providing real support, I can’t recommend using Uber Eats.

Worst experience ever! I ordered some food from a local restaurant that totaled out to be about $37 and it is a restaurant that is owned by a friend of mine right down the street. I ordered it and then decided that I was going to cancel it and just go pick it up so I wouldn’t have to pay the astronomical fees that Uber charges plus all the nonsense associated with waiting an hour for my food. I canceled it 30 seconds later and they charged me $27 quoting that the restaurant had already accepted the order and that they would be paying that money to the restaurant in the driver for their time, I then called the restaurant owner who is a friend of mine and she told me that they get absolutely 0% of that $27 and that it all goes to Uber when I called Uber and chatted with Uber. They all told me that the cancellation was final and there was nothing that they can do for me even when I pleaded to reinstate the order because I knew that they were taking $27 for nothing. I am absolutely done using Uber and Uber eats because they have lack of customer empathy and certainly have no desire to improve customer experience and loyalty. To Uber, I give the middle finger. You guys are pitiful. Thanks for being a thief and stealing our families money for absolutelY NOTHING and the 30 seconds it took me to cancel the order.
