I cannot give 0 stars otherwise I would. I ordered from a really lovely restaurant on Uber eats, and then witnessed our delivery driver take a photo of our food on the wall outside and then run off with it. I have tried raising this with uber eats but their customer service is absolutely shocking and all I have been told is that the driver followed policy by taking a photo. The fact that our driver stole our food has not been addressed at all. I have used Uber eats several times before and never had an issue, but this is enough to put me off using again.

Unfair Charges and Terrible Customer Services I recently had a terrible experience with Uber Eats due to their app malfunctioning. My order went through three times instead of once, causing duplicate charges. I canceled the first two orders within five minutes, well before the restaurant started preparing them. I even called Sushi Circle in Fulham, who confirmed they had not begun making the food and assured me they would notify Uber Eats to issue a refund. Despite this, Uber Eats has still charged me for both canceled orders, leaving me with a £111 charge for just one £37 order that I actually received. This is completely unacceptable and violates Uber Eats’ own terms and conditions, which state that if an order is canceled before the restaurant starts preparing it, a refund should be issued. Uber Eats’ customer service has been completely unhelpful, refusing to take responsibility despite clear evidence from the restaurant. Their unfair and misleading policies leave customers out of pocket for errors caused by their own app. I will be disputing this charge with my bank and would strongly warn others to be cautious when using Uber Eats. As Uber Eats’ customer service team will not help me resolve this issue and I am unable to speak to a representative from Uber Eats over the phone, despite requesting they call me a number of times. I will have no choice but to escalate the matter further, including disputing the charge with my bank and reporting it to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and Citizens Advice, as this appears to be an unfair business practice. We’ve been customers for years. However we got horrible service tonight through the chat in the app!!!! Switching to DoorDash, etc… ANYTHING but Ubereats. Multiple chat agents were not helpful and had horrible customer service. They did NOT resolve my issue and ending the chat. My food has now been waiting at the restraint for an hour because they can’t find someone to pick it up but if I cancel, I will not be refunded. No one would help me and when I asked for a manager, they said they didn’t have anyone. WOW. AWFUL service. Definitely taking my concerns to all social platforms regarding Ubereats horrible service.

Worst experience of my life Ordered estimated time was 40 min 2 hours later i gave up and collected my order and then try to get a refund for the delivery and um, yeah, Uber. Rejected my request for refund

Horrible customer service. Food arrived very late causing me to be late for work. Because food was late and the hot food was in sealed containers, it was cold and mushy when I received it. Customer service promised a refund after I sent a photo. Sent photo and called back. Next rep refused to give refund offered 25% off next order. There will be no next order. I'll starve before I EVER use Uber eats again!

Worst customer service ever. I canceled my order exactly after 2 minutes (from even their references, I made the order 12:42 and canceled it 12:44). They made me pay the whole amount and I got nothing, refusing to refund me or even compensating me by any other way. They really don't care about their customers and not even their drivers. We should stop using this app.

No service from support, they repeat the same thing and close the chat, they repeat : I'm afraid we have already provided the needed information. Again we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. If there are issues in the future please don't hesitate to contact us. and the chat is over and closed and you talk to someone else that does the same , 5 times In A row 😵‍💫 just awful

I’d say 90% of the time i order something on uber eats it’s either missing, comes to me wrong, goes to a different house and the compensation is not worth the hassle. You pay way too much for poor service. Don’t recommend anyone using this.

Horrendous customer service led me to end my membership with Uber one and delete the app forever. Their customer service seems to be trained to be inexplicably inefficient and unhelpful. It’s almost like they get off on being completely useless, even with the most seemingly benign of requests. I’m done. I will spend all of my money happily with DoorDash or another service.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would because even 1 star is too generous. First, the Uber Eats app was not clear about the pricing. My meal with taxes should have cost close to 35 (29$ + 5$ tip). Uber Eats charged me a delivery fee and a system fee that bumped my order to 41+ dollars. These hidden fees were exactly that — hidden and when I complained, Uber Eats did nothing to rectify the situation. They just provided a breakdown of the price. This shouldn’t be allowed. It’s called transparency! Uber Eats should have indicated that they charged these fees. If Skip the Dishes does and it’s up front and centre, why should Uber Eats not behave in a similar way? Second, my food arrived cold. And I mean really cold. I had to put it in the microwave, for crying out loud. I mean, you don’t order takeout or delivery to have it delivered cold. Again, Uber Eats refused to do anything about that. The least they could have done is give me a 10-15$ credit if they didn’t want to reimburse me. It’s the second time I order from Uber Eats. And the first time was just as horrific as the second. So, needless to say it’ll be the last! As the saying goes: Shame on you if you fool me once, shame on me if you fool me twice. I don’t like to play the fool so there you go.

Tried twice to order groceries from them. First time they just cancelled with now explanation. Second time a delivery man showed up with nothing I had ordered,and then charged me when u sent him away. Even though u received nothing. Customer service was completely unavailable. NEVER order from UberEATS!!!

Uber Eats delivered a duplicate order that I did not accept and charged me for the duplicate order. I advised them of what happened and requested a credit but they have refused to credit me for the duplicate order. Customer service responses have been worthless!

Well I'm still waiting on dinner which keeps on getting delayed! At this rate it might be breakfast! First there was a delivery before which held it up. Called restaurant they said she just left...then another notice from uber, there's another delivery before mine so it's later again!

I am always missing items from my order! Now they delivered to the wrong house … they took a picture to show it was delivered, but it wasn’t my house. I didn’t even report a couple bc I was too upset. I think you guys are preying on all the customers that don’t report it! Is this a scam??? How can my order be wrong every time?!?!

I have had so many bad experiences dealing with Uber eats. If it's not cold food, it's customer service not wanting to give me my refund. I've had drivers not follow instructions. People sending there kids to deliver for them cause they don't want to hand me my food. Drivers setting in their cars not wanting to get out and hand me my food. Just lazy if you ask me. Just lazy. And someone needs to take over Uber eats cause it's getting worse the more I use it. Just ridiculous. Delivering cold food....Shame on them customer, restaurant employees, managers, Uber eats, corporate too. Shame on em all👎

Had notification to say food delivered but it hadn't been. Phoned and got out through to the driver who said he was 10 minutes away, could I send him my address as he couldn't access it, I advised couldn't as the food was showing as delivered. He said he would call me back and get the address, he didn't. Submitted twice on Uber site food not delivered and heard nothing. Rubbish

I will think twice before ordering on Uber Eats again. This is the second time this has happened! 😡 Every complaint isn't about a refund, but you should communicate customer complaints to the vendor. McDonald's sent me cold food, and all you said was "no refund." The vendor needs feedback! You can do better!!! #UberEats #CustomerService #FoodDelivery #Complaint #McDonald's #Problem
