I had the WORST experience with Uber Eats tonight! My order was ready within 20 minutes. But they couldn’t find a driver to deliver it to me so they didn’t arrive until almost 2 hours later. It was ice cold. And all they were willing to do for $100 order please give me a $20 credit because they said it was only 16 minutes past the absolute maximum late delivery time. The first delivery person decided not to deliver it after they sat there in the parking lot for 15 minutes. I asked why they weren’t picking it up and then he canceled his pick up. So someone else finally decided to pick up my order. But it took forever because they made several stops along the way. When I contacted Uber Eats about this, they had absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. Worst delivery service ever.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Every time I have to deal with uber eats it is a pain. The process is tedious, the fees ridiculous and EVERY time I use the service I have an issue, forcing me to deal with customer service which is a nightmare altogether. They make it imposible to get ahold of an actual person and once you finally do they repeat the same scripted response like robots. It's just an awful experience altogether coming from a company so big that you would expect to get the value for what it is costing you.

I ordered at 5:23pm, 2hrs later 30 mins on the phone with customer service and no food. Uber said they can’t do anything for me until the driver cancels my order. This is ridiculous, she said the driver was new and he wasn’t responding to either of our calls. She said there was no supervisor and kept saying “I understand but there’s nothing I can do we have a policy”. $73.60 later, no food & nothing uber can do about it. I will NEVER use uber eats again!

Absolutely disgusted food arrived late for my son it was freezing cold I put a complaint in in his behalf and uber customer service took no responsibility what so ever even tho the delivery driver had prior deliveries to my sons order being delivered his chips were not in the bag had fallen out loose of the packaging !!!

This is the 2nd time and the last time food is shown ready. Shows driver picked it up. Shows driver is on his way. After an hr the order is canceled. Time number 2. Food shows ready... Driver is on his way. Time for delivery keeps increasing. I message the driver. He said he is in on his way..Next message. A new driver has been assigned. what did they do? Meet on the street to change my food from one driver to the other. I cancelled the order. I could not wait any longer because the app went back to telling me that the driver was picking up my order. The previous driver said he was on his way with my order. Someone is lying. I chatted in and they said no refund! I’m writing this review. never again will I use Uber Eats? I will always use DoorDash. if I could give zero rating, I would.

i use uber eats in a town where it shouldn’t be hard to get a driver. i live in a big city. but it was over an hour and i still didn’t have a driver (this wasn’t the first time and id had enough) so i called the restaurant. they said we can’t see your order. i called uber. they said they can’t do anything for me. they’ll see it when they see it. i don’t have the time nor money to wait and see about stuff like this so it was very frustrating to find out that communication, the one job uber has, they can’t seem to get it right, EVER! and then they can’t even give me compensation?! this is expensive and i’m a college student who needs food when i cannot drive safely. this is all very frustrating. i’ve been a LONG time uber customer but with this situation and recent others, please yall, go to doordash or something. i promise

We ordered uber eats and they said that they needed to show I.D. to the delivery driver???? We have had our identification stolen before by giving our drivers license before. We did not order alcohol. The delivery driver wanted to scan my drivers license on his personal phone! You have my credit card ,it was approved and was paid for. Why do I need to show I.D.???? With all the scams and identity theft going on today. If this is your new policy, we will never use you again!!! I refused to give him my identification and he was very adimet that I needed to. He gave up, but then called after delivering the food to come back and get get my drivers license scanned. Again, I said no!!! Very sketchy!!! If this is your policy, then I would definitely think twice about that! Horrible experience and will never do business with you again!

My wife ordered dinner payment went through and all of a sudden order got cancelled leaving us with no answer as to why rang shop and the order hadn't gone through but ok for them to keep $82.00 of our money for 3 to 10 days this is not the first time they have done this not acceptable and fraudulent you have people's money sitting in your bank for days collecting interest from money that is not yours will never use them again

My order was not fully delivered. Got a receipt clearly stating a refund and DID NOT receive the refund. When I contacted uber eats they told me I was past the 48 hours. They are STEALING our monies!! Customer service not even responding to me! I will NEVER use this service again!

I haven't ordered from UberEATS in years and decided to do so a few days ago. I didn't realize they had my Florida address saved until I ordered, so I immediately canceled my order as I was in a completely different State. UberEATS refused to refund me even though I ordered at 10:27 and canceled at 10:28 claiming that the Merchant had "accepted" my order (these orders are automated so the merchant always "accepts" the order). Further, my receipt claimed I would not receive a refund because the restaurant had "already started my order" when they would not have had time to glance at the screen to see my order. I finally got through to a customer service manager and he at first tried to blame me for canceling the order before contacting uberEATS (I find this ironic as I thought this to be a natural way in "contacting" uberEATS especially since they have no customer service phone number). He said he "couldn't do anything" since it was just passed 48 hours (this was when I realized the credit card was charged). When I pressed him on this point, he admitted that "once the merchant accepts the order, they "couldn't" do anything anyways. I don't think this is correct (i.e. how many of us have accidentally sent the amazon order to the wrong location - wouldn't it be ludicrous to be charged for it even if we were never to receive the package?). If this is uberEATS policy, it is an attempt to profit at mistakes made by customers who are simply trying to order food. Clearly they need managers with common sense and I simply don't believe that they are incapable of "canceling" an order that's been accepted within 60 seconds. This is clearly a bad business model in the long run, and I hope loss of future business from me and anyone else I can tell about this is worth the $23.10 they charged me.

If I could give a zero I certainly would. Driver took my order and did not move for 1 hour. I could not contact him. Customer support insisted me to wait for another hour until I could get the refund. That makes me think they tamper with my food.
